Naomi John was a hybrid of both Werewolf and human. His father "John" was a human who owns a very big company in the Human world and that was when she knew about "Derek" who was managing his father's company in the human world.
John and Derek decided to work together as business partners and till now they were still working together. Loaning and helping each other in terms of ?nancial assistance and that was when Derek began to like Naomi.
But his feelings for her dropped the moment he realized that she was Also dating "Asher" the Alpha of the BLUE MOON PACK. His enemy friends.
He was really happy to ?nd out that she was his ?anc��e, it seems like they've been dating for now, but he does wonder why Naomi sold herself to him when she knew that she was dating Asher.
There isn't anything wrong with what he was doing because as long as Asher hadn't marked "Naomi" as his Luna mate then he wouldn't stop with what he was doing to her.

"Do you really think you can take advantage of me by tempting on what belongs to me?" Asher questions him as he smirks.
"Tempting on what belongs to you?" He retreated his words, Very surprised on the way he's calling Naomi his property when he had already killed his mate.
"Naomi isn't yours yet! She can't only be claimed by her mate! But you and I both know what happened to your "supposed mate" don't we? Asher wanted to slap him for reminding her about Addison again and how he knew of that.
"How do you know that Derek? Have you been spying on me?" Asher questions, trying to control his anger and temper.
"There's a lot I know about you that you aren't aware of! But in conclusion; let me tell you this as a friend, "if it's really true that your mate was Killed by you then I don't think you would ever get mated to someone again in the future". He uttered, and he knew that, that was the truth!
"I understand, but please back down from Naomi! She's my girlfriend and I wouldn't want to share her with anybody". Asher uttered as he smiled.
"And as a friend again, I wouldn't advise you to lean into Naomi because she's a no match for you neither me! So if you need a serious girlfriend, I will advise you to look for another one". He advises him like a friend
