Chapter 25

Mehul's POV



I was astonished to see the backyard garden. We had a very large open space in front as well as the back of our house. It was a fairly good garden earlier but she transformed it.

It looked like some painting now. There were two nice sheds with comfortable sitting arrangements and some beautiful garden benches and chairs.

The artificial pond was awesome. The new lampposts, lights in shed and lanterns were adding to the beauty of the garden. It looked amazing. Megha is really good.

Everything looked so beautiful, including her, she was so delicate yet strong. I was getting attracted to her. I wanted to take her in my arms.

She was smiling, when she saw everyone liked her work. Her beautiful big eyes were looking so bright. Her skin was glowing and her lips were...

Let's not talk about it right now. Her face lit up when I praised her efforts. She looked like an angel.

She had arranged snacks and food for us to have in the garden. The snacks and tea coffee were served and I saw that she had prepared that dhokla as I requested. I tried it. It was delectable, I loved it I smiled and winked at her.

She blushed, I swear whenever she blushed, I wanted to... I don't know what was happening to me. I was thinking about her all the time.

Everyone started making the rounds in the backyard and side garden. She also started walking when I caught her hand and said, " Where are you going? Let them go and appreciate the beauty there and let me do it here." I kept ogling at her and her cheeks were getting even redder by every passing second.

I praised the dhokla she made for me and placed a kiss on her hand. I grinned when I felt that she shivered a bit. I love the way her body reacts to mine.

" It is a beautiful evening. Let's see all the areas now..." I started walking still holding her hand in mine and she followed. We reached another area and no one was here, I wanted to have her in my arms. So, I snaked my arm around her waist and drew her closer. She stiffened a bit.

She was looking at me with her big beautiful eyes. " Hmmm, so you are hiding here. We were looking for you." I heard bhabhi. I released her immediately. Bhabhi and Bhai were standing there, smirking at us.

" We were not hiding bhai, we were just looking at different parts of the garden," I said rubbing the back of my neck.

" Yes, I understand that you were looking at different parts of the garden in the eyes of each other. I have never tried that. Come Sneha we must also try." He winked at bhabhi and she started laughing. Megha was blushing profusely now.

We all went to the main sitting arrangement. The food was being served there. We all enjoyed the food in the lap of nature.

Dad said, "It was an amazing evening. We all enjoyed it so much and the garden is looking awesome. We must do it frequently. Your mom and I have to go back to Surat tomorrow. But Mudit and Mehul just take care of Sneha and Megha. They are your responsibility. We must go and take rest now. Good night. " With that everyone went to their rooms.

I changed and came to the bedroom. She was combing her hair. She came and made a pillow wall between us. I looked at her with amusement.

" What's that for?"

" This is a pillow wall between us, that is your side of the bed and this is mine. Please stick to your side." She said giving me a warning.

" I will stick to mine but can you do that??? I mean you know you were holding me so tightly as if your life was in danger. It is ok with me if you want to hold me. Just don't say in the end that I was doing it. " I teased her.

She might be feisty but she gets teased easily. So this is going to be my weapon against her. She can't handle me when I tease her face starts looking like a ripe tomato.

" You... you... you know that is not true. I was not holding you. You were doing it. " She was very angry now. I just smiled and turned my back towards her.

Megha's POV



Maji and Papaji had an early flight so they had already left.

I went downstairs and saw bhabhi in the dining room. Bhaiya was not there.

" So what is going on Megha? Last night we saw that things are getting better. You were locked in his arms and lost in each other." She asked with amusement.

" Bhabhi I don't understand him, some times he is irritating and another time he is happy and is teasing me. Two days back he was furious with me as I happened to meet his friends in a restaurant and about 3 hours later he behaved nicely with me. He is behaving very differently since then. "

" What do you mean by differently??"

" He is smiling at me, complimenting, trying to get closer and yesterday morning he... "

Oh shit !! What was I going to say? I stopped just in time.

" Yesterday morning...WHAT??"

" No, nothing bhabhi..." My cheeks started getting pink.

" Megha?? You can't do that now, please tell me. What did he do?"

" But... "

" Come on Megha, I am just like your sister or friend. Moreover, we are trying to help you." I felt a bit awkward but I told her everything from what happened in and outside the restaurant and then about yesterday morning. She was grinning now.

" He has started feeling something about you. He was jealous that you were talking to his friends. He shouted when his friend wanted to give you a lift. I saw the way he has been looking at you since then. Something has changed in him and I can feel that. Put some more efforts and you will have him eating out of your hand. "

" But, what do I do? "

" He is teasing you. You must tease him as well. Make him fall for you. He has started to behave normally. I will tell you what to do and you have to follow. "

" But bhabhi, Why should I tease him? "

" Don't you want a life like a newlywed couple should have? Do you want to spend your life like this? Add some spice to your life. He was upset because he used to like a girl, but she left him and then he was forced to marry another girl. But now he has started behaving normal so please help him and yourself to have a nice romantic life. " Bhabhi was very serious.

" You are coming shopping with me today, I am free after 1 PM. So let's go for lunch and shopping." She was grinning now.

" Ok, bhabhi."

" He will not be able to tease you. He won't even know what hit him and would not be able to resist you. You wait and watch." Bhabhi said with a big smile.

I went to Priya's office to see how the work was going. Everything was going smoothly and on time. Her dad's office was ready. The new wallpapers were looking very good and the new furniture was also placed in the office, not just a few art pieces were to be placed.

Priya's office had lots of things to be worked upon so only half of it was completed. I gave the instructions and ordered to make curtains from the beautiful fabrics they had in their store. I was satisfied with the work and I left her office to go to meet bhabhi.
