Chapter 36

Mehul's POV



Bhai was coming towards us hurriedly. He was looking very tensed and tired. He hugged me and went into the room. Bhabhi was sleeping so he sat near her holding her hand.

Megha came out of the room and told me to get a coffee for Bhai. I did that, I told her that I would have to go to Mumbai as Bhai had to come back, she nodded.

The doctor came with bhabhi's report. We all rushed towards him anxiously. He smiled and said,

" Congratulations !! Mudit, you are going to be a father very soon. Sneha is pregnant. " He was our family doctor so he looked as happy as we were.

Bhai could not even believe it. He was so happy that a few tears escaped from his eyes.

He just was so overwhelmed with the news, he kissed the top of bhabhi's head.

Then he came and hugged me hard and smiled at Megha. She was smiling like anything. She was looking so beautiful.

How would I feel, when I would know that Megha was with our child?? Oh, God !! I was certainly losing it. What was I thinking about ?? I knew I was blushing.

I told her that I needed to go and pack, she nodded. We left Bhai and bhabhi and went home.

She packed the bag for me for 4 days. I knew that I had to go to Mumbai as bhai needs to be here but I didn't want to leave her here. I would miss her a lot.

Once I come back, I will tell her that I am extremely affected by her as well and I want to start my married life with her. I can't stay away from her now, she is driving me crazy.

I am sorry, that she saw me with Esha in my arms. It was just a normal hug. But, I would have killed a man, if I had found Megha in his arms.

She must have felt the same. That is why she couldn't tolerate seeing me with Esha. Does that mean.... that she had some kind of feelings for me as well?

I wanted to ask right away. But she was so angry with me just a few hours ago. So I thought it was a bad idea at that moment.

I looked at her, she avoided looking at me and that was hurting me. I wanted to talk to her and tell her about my feelings for her. But, somehow could not tell her.

I went back to the hospital before going to the airport. Bhabhi was awake now and they both looked so happy. I hugged her and congratulated her. She smiled shyly.

" The doctor said that she has to rest for one week. She exerted herself so much to meet her deadlines. Enough is enough Sneha... Now you will have to take proper rest and care of yourself and the baby. " Bhai said caressing bhabhi's head.

I smiled at them, they both were so much in love and now they were going to have a child very soon. I was so happy for them and I wanted to feel this experience as well.

Bhai looked at me and said, " I am sorry but you will have to go to Mumbai. This deal is extremely important for us. You have to handle it well, Mehul. I know you are very smart and understand everything very well. I have to be here due to her condition. Once she is stable, I will be there. All the best Bhai, do well and make all of us proud."

I smiled and nodded, " Don't worry Bhai, I will handle it and if I face any problem. I will ask you. You need to be here for bhabhi as mom is also not here. Bhabhi needs you."

He smiled and hugged me tightly " You know what?? You have grown up, I am happy about it. All the best, Just nail it."

Megha's POV



I was so scared to see bhabhi faint in front of my eyes. I had started to panic. But Mehul took control of the situation and called doctor and bhaiya. We were waiting anxiously for the results of the tests that were performed on bhabhi. I was tensed for her.

Bhaiya had already come and then the doctor told all of us that bhabhi was pregnant. I was so happy to hear that. I could see bhaiya was so happy that his eyes were filled with happy tears. They were so much in love with each other.

Would I ever share that kind of a relationship with Mehul??

When I saw him with that girl, I felt so much pain. I felt as if something fell and broke into a thousand pieces.

I didn't like the way he followed her outside the party or the way he held her in his arms. I felt like crying. but why? It is not that I have feelings for him, then why it gave me so much pain to see him with someone else.

Mehul told me everything that happened that night. I was a bit relieved to hear that but was wondering about my feelings for him. How does it matter to me if he is with someone else? And why was I relieved to hear that he had no feelings for Esha now?

He had to go to Mumbai as Bhai had to come back to be with bhabhi. I helped him to pack for his trip. It seemed that he wanted to say something, but didn't.

He left for Mumbai and I stayed at home. I kept thinking about him. Everything that happened between us from the beginning to date.

We seemed to have come a long way since then. I liked the way he teased me. He irritated me a lot but at the same time, he made me blush. I love the feel of being in his arm...

I was already missing him and our banters.

It was morning, I got ready and decided to go to the hospital and then to the mall to see how the work was going...

Bhabhi was feeling better now. She was supposed to take a break from work and take rest as much as possible. I hugged her and asked if she wanted me to do anything for her.

She told me that she wanted to eat a few things and not boring hospital food. I promised to bring those things to her. She hugged me tight and asked me if I was alright. I nodded with a smile.

I went to the mall and saw that the base was completed and they had just started to apply paints on the wall. The work was going very well so I gave a few more instructions and went to the office as I didn't want to go to an empty house.

I was working on my designs when Mehul's PA knocked on the door. I asked him to come in.

" Ma'am a Mr Sachin Mehta is here to meet you. Shall I send him to meet you? " He asked me after he left a file on the desk.

What was Sachin doing here?

" Yes, please send him in. " He nodded and went outside.

The door opened and Sachin came in. He was smiling like anything. It was so nice to see him after so long. I was really happy.

" Hey !! What a pleasant surprise !! What are you doing in Delhi?? " I asked him.

" Well, I am here to work ma'am..." He replied with a mischievous smile.

" Wow !! Did you get a job in Delhi? That's great !! Where are you working?"

" Here... You are my boss along with Vimal Bhai. He appointed me as the manager of your new showroom. " He smiled.

" What?? Seriously? That is great news. " I was very happy. I asked the PA to send two coffee and we chatted for some time.

" So you will have to work on a fast-pace as the festive season is coming and we have to open the way before that." He nodded and smiled.

" So how is your married life going on?" He asked me.

" Well it is good, Mehul is a very good person. Hey, have you brought all the art pieces with you? "

" Yes, Vimal Bhai had talked to Mr Mudit Shah already. He gave us a big storage place. So we have everything that your family deals in."

He replied with a smile.

" That's great !! Let's go and see what all is there and then we will go to the mall again." I told him and we did all that.

We worked very hard as I had to get the showrooms ready as soon as possible. So we worked for the showrooms till very late for the next few days.
