Chapter 20 Red Velvet
The next morning at 10 o'clock, Grace received a PDF file sent by C. She opened it and saw the master's medical report and a certificate of no criminal record.
The names were obscured, revealing only the initial "C" for the last name.
Grace saw that "C" and couldn't help but smile.
As she scrolled down, she saw that the master had undergone a comprehensive physical examination and was in good health without any criminal record. Both reports were released a few days ago.
Grace was filled with joy because yesterday the master's sudden request for offline training had almost washed away her sanity, and she didn't even remember that she initially asked the master to provide these documents if there was offline training.
But the master didn't forget.
Grace: Master, I only have the medical report and certificate of no criminal record from when I joined the company at the end of last year, but I haven't had any sexual partners throughout the entire past year until now.
Grace found her two reports from her mailbox andC sent them as PDF to C.
C: Thank you, but please remember to blur out your own name next time.
Grace realized that she had directly sent the PDF, but luckily, the recipient knew her.
She suppressed the smile at the corner of her mouth and her fingers danced happily on the screen of her mobile phone.
Grace: Thank you for the reminder, Master. Grace remembers [heart].
Lately, she has been fond of using this heart symbol as a signature.
Soon, C sent another photo of a car.
C: The car will come to pick you up tomorrow morning. I will be waiting for you at the hotel entrance at 8:30 am.
Grace openedlooked at the photo and her breath stopped.
The license plate of that car was "GRACE," with a bright red heart at the end.
Grace: How could a license plate like this exist?
C: I bought it from someone else. Luckily, the name "Grace" is not too uncommon, otherwise it would have been difficult to get it customized today. Do you like it, Grace?
Grace was overwhelmed with dizziness. She had heard that personalized license plates, even with added emojis, were possible in Australia, but she never expected something like this to happen to her.
Why would her Master do something like this for her? It was just a one-time pick-up and drop-off. T, there was no need to purchase such a customized license plate.
However, her mouth, which had already flown to outer space, firmly told her that she liked it, she liked it a lot.
Grace tossed and turned on the bed until the burning sensation on her face subsided a bit before cautiously replying to the message.
Grace: Grace really likes it. Tt, thank you Master. But... if it's just for one pick-up, Grace feels it's not worth it.
C: Did you just laugh?
Grace's cheeks flushed again as she answered honestly.
Grace: Yes, I laughed., I was tossing and turning in bed.
The reply from her Master came quickly. Grace's breath stopped and her heart gave out a silent scream.
C: Then I think it's worth it.
-
On the first night of her victorious match, Grace was so excited that she didn't sleep a wink.
She watched and pondered over the conversation with her Master from that day again and again. The bright light from her phone illuminated the high cheekbones where her laughter lines grew deeper. She relived the excitement and joy of that moment again and again.
The excitement continued until the early hours of the morning, and Grace began to think about going to her Master's house.
She needed to present herself in the most perfect state.
At 7 o'clock in the morning, with dark circles under her eyes, Grace eagerly left the house.
She had made an appointment online for a full-body spa treatment.
At half-past eleven, the transformed Grace walked out of the spa center and rushed into a hair salon.
Her hair was long and naturally wavy. She had come to the salon to simply trim the split ends and receive a complete treatment.
The last stop was the nail salon, where Grace had her hands and feet pampered, and she chose an eye-catching cardamom red color.
Her fingers were slender and her nail beds were rounded. After applying the vibrant cardamom red shade, it would be hard for people not to stare at her fingertips.
Vibrant and bold.
Like a ripe cherry immersed in craft beer.
In the evening, Grace returned to the hotel completely exhausted. She still took a thorough shower and then applied the delicately scented lotion all over her body. After completing everything, Grace collapsed onto the bed, completely drained. She set two alarms for around 7:30 and went to bed early, knowing that she had started to feel nervous.
Even though her anticipation had been burning within her for the past two days, Grace was aware that her nerves were kicking in. After all, this was her first time engaging in offline training with someone she didn't really know. Her previous "dominant", if you could call him that, had been a friend she knew in real life before their relationship took a different turn. So when Grace had practiced with that previous "dominant", she never felt any unease because she knew who he was. But with C...
She had no clue, and she had even agreed to wear a blindfold. It wasn't that Grace regretted agreeing to wear the blindfold; she just felt a bit nervous. Two conflicting thoughts ran through her mind, causing her heart to tighten slightly. However, Grace had no intention of backing out; she was just a little nervous. She got dressed, put on her shoes, and grabbed her bag before heading downstairs.
She had originally planned to leave early, not wanting to keep the driver waiting. But as she walked into the lobby, she saw a black car parked outside, a car that looked familiar. She walked closer to get a better view and indeed, the license plate read "Grace" with a bright red heart right after it. The driver clearly recognized Grace; he was an elderly Australian man who got out of the driver's seat and invited Grace in.
The vehicle quickly left the hotel and headed towards the city center, driving along a street lined with tall trees. The weather was beautiful, with a clear blue sky without any clouds. The air conditioner in the car was set at a perfect temperature, and Grace's hand, gripping the strap of her bag, started to perspire slightly.
After about thirty minutes, the car smoothly entered an underground parking lot of a building. The driver accompanied Grace in the elevator up to the eighteenth floor. As the elevator doors opened, the first thing Grace saw was the spacious and elegant lobby of the eighteenth floor, surrounded by large floor-to-ceiling windows with no partitions. In front of the lobby stood a reception desk, where a woman greeted the driver and Grace warmly.
Grace followed this woman into the building. They stopped in front of the door with the number 1806, and the woman said to Grace, "This is it. The door has been opened as requested, and the key card is on the table in the entrance. Please check it." Grace was a bit confused and asked, "Is there no one inside?" The woman replied, "Not at the moment. You can check the card first." Grace hesitated for a moment but thanked the woman before making her way inside.
The surroundings were quiet and serene, and Grace felt her breathing slow down. Her gaze focused on the door of this apartment.
As the person just said, the door of the apartment was half-open, as if welcoming her arrival.
Grace was initially wondering whether she should put on a blindfold before entering, but the lady just now mentioned that there was a card inside that she needed to check, and there was no one here.
Grace's thoughts slowly and carefully turned, confirming that she could step into the room with her eyes open.
She gently pushed open the door with her hand.
Transparency was Grace's first impression of this apartment.
With a high -ceiling ed top floor and a huge floor-to-ceiling window with a 180-degree unobstructed view, the view of this apartment was infinite. The living room was irregularly semi-circular in shape, spacious, and various furniture was artfully placed in between.
Instead of the usual gray and black combination, vibrant colors were used, bold and lively, yet never tacky.
Large wooden lines hung from the top of the living room, embedded with bright lights, creating a very distinct artistic sense.
It could be seen that the ownermaster of this apartment had excellent taste.
Grace cautiously walked to the table in the entryway, where there was nothing except a red card.
She picked up the card with her fingers and realized that the red side had a velvety touch, causing her index finger to unconsciously stroke it a few more times.
She turned over the back of the card, and there were several beautifully written lines in English:
To my Grace:
Welcome here.
Please feel free to move around and look inside the apartment, including all the rooms, closets, and drawers. If you feel safe and comfortable, send me a message and put on the blindfold. If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, the driver downstairs will take you away at any time.
But before you make a decision, I invite you to take a look at the bedroom.
Signed, C.
Grace's heart pounded heavily in her chest, almost wanting to escape.
Even at this moment, he was still giving her the option to refuse.
Suppressing the sourness in her nose, Grace put on her slippers and headed towards the bedroom mentioned in the card.
The bedroom shared a seamless floor-to-ceiling window with the living room, but at the moment, the thick curtains completely covered the windows.
The lighting was warm yellow, silently flowing in this spacious bedroom.
The card in Grace's hand gently fell to the ground, her vision blurred for a moment, and then tears rolled down her eyes rapidly.
Because the curtain that was pulled shut was made of red velvet;
Because the neatly laid bedding on the bed was made of red velvet;
Because the sleepwear hanging in the open wardrobe was made of red velvet;
Because even the back of the card he personally wrote to her was made of red velvet.
The room spun around, and Grace could barely stand.
Because the ownermaster's intention was too obvious, although he also gave her the right to leave, but--
his red velvet,
he hoped that she would stay today.
