Chapter 17

"Minal I was not expecting this from you, a lot of things happened and you didn't urge to let me know......have I become that stranger for you?"
Not only in his voice but also his eyes were filled with an accusatory look.
In the morning, he came from his house to Mrs. Nimra's house in order to meet her but he was surprised after finding their house locked.
Where they both can go that early in the morning without informing him. In worried, he dialed Minal's number.
He was not able to speak for the moment when he listened to the news from Minal. After talking with Minal he moves toward his car hurriedly and came to the hospital.
He takes a sigh of relief after finding Mrs. Nimra's sound health but he was badly hurt by Minal for not letting him know about all this happened.
"Believe me I was calling you but you called me before that....."
Minal feels guilty after listening to him.
She confessed it is her fault for not informing Kawish but at that time she didn't give heed to this.
"When are you going to do..... since yesterday you and aunt are at the hospital and you were going to call me now...... I know that I am not related to you by blood but I respect aunt from my heart, she is like my own aunt, at least you should consider this....."
His sadness was not seeming to end very soon.
"Let's leave all this buddy, most important is Ammi's condition and she is fine now, and we don't care about anything else....."
She tried to dissipate Kawish's enrage on which Kawish glared at her.
"For now I am forgiving you just because of the aunt, otherwise....."
He stopped after looking at her.
"Yes, yes I know, you subsided your anger because of the aunt, let's go now meet with an aunt, doctor permitted us....."
She held his hand and take him towards Mrs. Nimra's room.
Looking at the scene in front of him, Shah Zain, who was standing at a little distance, nerves started clenching.
Today in the morning before coming to the office, he came here to the hospital to meet with Minal. But spotting Kawish with Minal he happened to listen to what they were talking with each other.
It was not in his imagination that there can be any relation between Minal and Kawish.
"Whether Minal doing a job in my office isn't the planning of Kawish."
His heart started misunderstanding Minal after spotting her with Kawish.
"If that happens it will not be good for you Minal."
Saying that in furiousness he moves outside.

Flashback

"What I am listening to, Isha...... how can you talk about this....."
In angry, Shah Zain was looking at her.
"If not for me at least take some care of your respect...."
She said him such thing on which his anger can be justified.
He just came to uni a little earlier and after coming here the news which he listened to has made him come near Isha who was standing with her friend.
"What's there you can be so astonished about, Shah Zain..... you are reacting as if whatever I said is a lie."
Isha said normally looking at him. While this made Shah Zain's blood boil the way she was like acting normal.
"Yes it's a lie......in fact it's your misunderstanding..... whether I told you ever that I like you or I love you..... tell me, have I ever told this, then how can you tell such a great lie, today whole of the uni is gossiping about you and me.....haven't you ever thought about your self-respect before doing this....."
His anger was not going to subside anytime soon. He can't control himself to tightly slap that stupid girl standing in front of him.
He belongs to an elite family. He spent a part of his life abroad. He never flirted with any girl till now.
And neither did he look to any girl with a sinister intention. From the very first he believes in love at first sight.
And till now he didn't find any girl. And today because of Isha's misunderstanding, his respect is going to be tarnished and so is Isha.
"Yes, I know, you never confessed your love, but sometimes it is not necessary to confess it..... and I feel it from your every gesture, the way you talk to me make me feel that you like me, and have you forget you told me himself on that day that I am different from everyone else...... and you also leave all other girls to talk with me, in fact, you helped me every time, then after all that I didn't feel a need to listen to something else....."
How far she has gone. Shah Zain never imagined this in his thoughts that she is thinking about him in this way.
"Isha...... what can I say to you now....... you have grown up not a little child that you started thinking in this way.....if I ever loved you then I will have it confess to you long ago...... and about helping you and talking with you, I did this because you look nice to me that's why I talked to you......but all that doesn't mean that I am doing all this in your love...... and I considered you different from everyone else is because of your dressing...... I like your simplicity....... and you started thinking about it from another perspective....... Isha now I am telling you in clear words that I don't love you..... I used to talk with you because I considered you a good friend and nothing else......if you started considering all this my love then I have never seen any stupid girl in this whole universe other than you....."
Now his tone is turned cold. While Isha kept looking at him with teary eyes.
"No Shah Zain, you can't do this with me, I really love you.....tell me all this is a lie, you are just joking with me....."
Isha was gazing at him with weeping eyes. His eyes were filled with anger for her.
"I didn't do anything with you, if something happened it's all because of your misunderstanding..... I never claimed of loving you and neither I confessed anything....."
For a moment, he feels sympathetic for the girl standing in front of him. But he wants to clear her misconception.
On Shah Zain saying, Isha just looked at him with silent eyes.
What is he saying to her....
He doesn't love her.
He only considers her as his friend.
In a jiffy, everything breaks inside her.
"Look Isha, because of my talking if your heart is broken then I apologize to you, but the sooner you accept this reality the better it will be for you..... and it will be better for both of us that from now on neither you will talk and nor I will."
He gazed at silently standing Isha then take his steps to go from there.
While Isha's eyes were on his steps which were moving away from her.
