Chapter 37

She was standing near the glass wall staring at the birds who were flying freely. They were free but they weren't safe.

If they were incarcerated then they will be safe. Same she was also in someone's incarceration but now she started liking this incarceration.

First, she was scared of this incarceration but now she feels solace in it. The reason for her solace is Kawish's soft behavior.

Her eyes were still on the sky when someone familiar smell hit her nose and along with that, she felt his presence behind her.

"What are you looking at?"

In his hoarse voice, he whispered in her ear. Noor shut her eyes feeling his warm breath on her ear.

"I'm looking at these birds flying freely."

She puts her hand on the glass wall as if to touch them.

"Do you want to become free like them?"

Kawish hugged her from behind and put his chin on her shoulder.

On his such closeness, Noor finds it hard to keep standing on her legs.

"Tell me, do you want to become free like them?"

He again repeated his question.

"What can happen if I want or not, what you want only that will happen."

She again complained.

"Your complaints are increasing with every passing day."

As Kawish said that, he further tightened his hold on her.

But now he wasn't harming her, it's just his way of talking, which Noor can't bear.

"I'm not complaining, I just answered your question. You were saying....."

Before she can say anything further, she becomes mute after feeling Kawish's lips warm touch on her shoulder.

"It wasn't an answer to my question.... you want freedom or not."

He freed her tied hair from the clip. While Noor was thinking that to let tell him to set him free not alone, but with him.

He is her husband, and she accepted him since when she came to know about him.

But because of Shah Zain, she wasn't accepting him. But after living with him and spending time with him she came to know if he is strict then he is also soft.

She still doesn't get to know the reason of his hatred for her father. But after her brother, if she feels someone closer to herself then it is Kawish.

"If my answer is yes then will you set me free.... she also wants to know his answer."

Kawish turns her towards herself with a jerk on her answer.

"But only for a few hours..."

In an instant, Noor's face glowed on listening to his answer. A few hours were also enough for her.

"But not today, after a day or two, now I am going outside for a few hours....in my absence don't try to go outside...."

His finger traced from Noor's forehead to her neck.

"If you try, then I....."

Before his hand moves further Noor becomes nervous and held his hand. On her instant movement, a smile formed on Kawish's lips.

"It seems you got my point, till I didn't come take care of yourself."

He puts his lips on her forehead and then came out of the room rapidly.
