Chapter 38

Turvi's pov 




I woke up from my sleep when I felt that someone was calling my name.




I'm not in a mood to open my eyes because I'm still tired. 




"Turvi beta wakes up late now." I heard again 




With great difficulty I opened my eyes and saw its Mumma no she is not my Mumma. 




"it's 12 pm when will you wake up?" she asked and I looked at the clock 




It's indeed 12 pm, well maybe it's the sleeping pills effect. 




"I'm awake now. Thank you for waking me up but you don't have to bother about me." I told her with a blank look on my face 




She thinks I'm a bad omen who killed her loved ones. She hates me. I can't forget the look I saw in her eyes for me. 




I'm a black spot in the name of my daughter. 




Every word is engraved in my mind permanently. 




I won't be an ungrateful girl by not acknowledging that she raised me maybe with hatred for me but still she did.




"Turvi we have to talk." she said and I looked at her 




"I don't think so." saying I got up from my bed and enter washroom 




I won't cry I won't not any more. She hates me. That's her problem, not mine. 




When I heard the door opening and closing indicating that she left I sighed and got ready after taking a warm shower. 




I am not in a mood to go Downstairs but I have to at least to feed my stomach. I can't keep torturing myself for this and I have to go to Stuti's reception as well. 




She must be busy with everything there. 




I can't let her know that something is off, not at least now. 




I never hide things from her nor I will now but till her pag phera I will hide it. 




I went downstairs and made coffee and toast for me. 




I ignored papa who is looking at me trying hard to start a conversation. 




I took my food and a packet of chocolate and a few fruits to my room. 




I won't go downstairs now after eating my breakfast I had chocolate. 




It is my heaven. My small and sweet heaven. 




In the afternoon papa came to call me for lunch but I denied him calmly. 




"what is wrong with you Turvi? Why are you behaving like this?" he asked me 




"because I'm like this papa. Stubborn and short tempered. And maybe a walking disaster as well. It will be better if you keep your distance. Who knows what happens next moment because of me after all I'm the bad omen ain't I? Just please leave me alone papa. Please. "I said hinting clearly that I have heard everything that they were talking 




" Turvi it's not what……. "" please leave." I cut him off and he sighed and left eventually 




Tu nahi royegi Turvi kamzor nahi parna tujhe. (you won't cry Turvi you can't become weak) 




I ate the fruits and the chocolate later for my late lunch. 




I got ready in a Pink full sleeves floral blouse with dark orange banarsi lehenga along with a orange plain net dupatta of glider border...










After getting ready I put my dazzling smile on display like every time but the difference is this time it's a fake smile. 




I went downstairs and saw them ready. 




Our relatives will reach there on their own so we also left from here. 




We reached there and I got happy for real seeing stuti. She is looking so beautiful. 




Her sindoor and mangalsutra is doing wonders on her look. 




She is looking so happy with jiju.




I went towards them and the first thing I did is I hugged her tightly. 




And she hugged me back. 




I needed this hug very much. 




"I missed you stuti. But I bet you didn't miss me at all. After all you have jiju now." I teased her 




"Who said I didn't miss you? I missed you a lot and no one can take your place in my life, not even your jiju." she replied 




"Did you listen jiju what she said? You can't take place." I told him with a smirk.. 




Our relationship is now normal as it should be. 




"I don't intend to take your place away my half wife." He replied with a wink making me laugh 




"it's just one day and I miss you so hard. What will happen in future." I whined 




"don't worry we will be habitual of it." she said smiling 




"by the way where is Aashu?" she asked and I noticed my jiju stiffen a little




"he is on the way. Don't worry. And jiju chilax Aashu is my full husband and her brother so no need to be jealous over him." I told them and laughed 




"jokes apart I'm really happy for you both. But jiju remember this one tear from her eyes and consider yourself dead your uniform will not be able to save you." I told him and he raise his hand in surrender




Then my parents came and I distanced myself a little from them. 




My eyes land on Aashu who has come with his brother. 




I go towards them and hugged Aashu ignoring his brother royally 




" stuti was asking for you." I told him 




"yeah we will meet her." He said 




I can feel Mr. Raichand's gaze on me but I care less about him. 




We go towards the couple and they congratulated them. 




I almost laughed when Aashu hugged stuti and jiju huffed 




"are you fine Turvi?" suddenly Mr. Raichand asked me 




"Yes I'm why do you ask?" I asked him back 




"because your eyes look sad. Your lips may smile but your eyes are talking something else." He said and I gaped at him 




How on the earth did he get to know that I'm sad? And out of everyone he? 

"you're reading too many novels it seems. My eyes are saying nothing." I told him and clingged to Aashu 




I don't know why but this brother of Aashu gives me evil vibes. 




Don't think about him Turvi and destroy your already fucked up mood. 

The rest of the evening passed away so fast. I avoided Mr. Raichand and my parents and stayed with Aashu only. 




And shooed that witch of a sister in law of my sister Ishani. 




Again hitting on my man. Giving him seductive smiles. 




She thinks she is looking seductive but in real she looks like a witch 




Itna bara engagement ring dikhta nahi hai kya? (can't she see the big engagement ring?) 




Huh anyways I know how to save my man from others so I did it. 




At the time of leaving I told Aashu to meet me in the morning as I have something important to discuss and he agreed. 




Leaving Stuti again was hard but nevertheless I did it. And it has to be done 




And took a promise from her that we will talk every day no matter how busy we are. We will spend 5 minutes at least talking to each other and she promised me this happily. 




With this the reception ended on a good note.
