Tessa

After the battle at the hospital, we spent a few days recovering and trying to figure out what to do next. The tension was high, but there was a new problem at hand that I needed to resolve.

On a rainy afternoon, while Mason and Bennett were out dealing with the aftermath of the fight with Loomis, I sat on the porch, trying to organize my thoughts. The silence around me only amplified the feeling of loneliness and uncertainty that hung over me.

My body had given me signs, but I was in denial. The possibility seemed surreal, especially with everything that was happening. But at that moment, sitting alone and watching the rain fall, the truth was inescapable.

I took the pregnancy test I had secretly bought and went to the bathroom. The wait was torturous, but when I finally looked at the result, my heart almost stopped. Positive. I was pregnant.

I sat on the bathroom floor, trying to process the avalanche of emotions. Fear, joy, worry, all mixed together. How would I tell the brothers? And how would this affect our already complicated situation?

When they finally came home, they were exhausted. I hoped to find a moment of peace to talk to them, but it seemed there would never be a perfect moment. They deserved to know the truth, and the sooner, the better.

"We need to talk," I said, gathering all my courage.

Mason frowned, concerned. "What happened, Tessa?"

I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart. "I... I'm pregnant."

The silence that followed was deafening. Bennett and Mason exchanged glances, clearly trying to process the news.

"How... how did this happen?" Bennett finally asked, his voice laden with shock.

"How do you think it happened, Bennett?" Mason retorted, his tone slightly irritated.

"I know how it happens, Mason!" Bennett shot back. "But this... is crazy."

"We need to think about what to do next," Mason said, trying to stay calm. "We need to ensure Tessa and the baby's safety."

Bennett nodded, still looking shaken. "Of course. But we need to be realistic about what this means."

The next few hours were a mix of planning and concern. We decided that I should stay home, where it would be safer, while the brothers mapped out a plan to deal with Loomis.

But as the days went by, the tension between Bennett and Mason only grew. They were dealing with the situation in different ways, and it was starting to cause conflicts.

On a particularly difficult night, I heard the two arguing downstairs. I left my room and approached the door, listening to their raised voices.

"You can't just go out and face Loomis head-on, Mason!" Bennett was yelling. "That's suicide!"

"And you think hiding is going to solve anything?" Mason retorted, his voice loaded with frustration. "We need to take action, Bennett!"

"Impulsive action will get us all killed!" Bennett responded. "We need to think about what's best for Tessa and the baby."

"I am thinking about that!" Mason shouted back. "But we also need to end Loomis once and for all!"

I couldn't stay silent any longer. I walked into the room, interrupting the argument. "Stop it! Fighting each other won't solve anything."

They both fell silent, turning to look at me. Their faces were red with anger, but there was also a deep concern in their eyes.

"We need to work together," I said, trying to keep calm. "We're all on the same team here."

Bennett sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I'm sorry, Tessa. I'm just worried."

"Me too," Mason admitted, still looking tense. "But we need to find a balance."

We all sat together, trying to come up with a plan that considered both safety and the need to act. We knew we needed to stay calm and united to face the challenges ahead.

However, the tension didn't completely disappear. With each passing day, Loomis's shadow seemed to grow, and the feeling of imminent danger loomed over us. I knew we were only at the beginning of a long battle, but with Bennett and Mason by my side, I felt we could face anything.

That night, as I tried to sleep, my thoughts were a whirlwind. The argument between Bennett and Mason still echoed in my mind. I knew their concern was justified, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something deeper was causing the tension between them.

I woke up several times during the night, feeling a growing unease. When I finally managed to fall asleep, I was abruptly awakened by the sound of breaking glass. I got up quickly, my heart racing.

I ran to Bennett and Mason's room, where I found them both awake, with serious expressions. "What was that?" I asked, my voice trembling.

Bennett looked out the window, frowning. "I don't know, but we need to check."

We went downstairs together, finding the living room window broken and a stone on the floor. Mason picked up the stone and found a note tied to it. His face paled as he read the words.

"It's from Loomis," he said, his voice grim. "He knows where we are."

Fear took hold of me, but there was also a renewed determination. "We need to do something. We can't continue like this."

Bennett and Mason exchanged a look, finally in sync. "Let's come up with a plan," Bennett said. "But this time, we'll do it together, without arguing."

We spent the rest of the night planning our next steps, knowing that the confrontation with Loomis was getting closer. The tension was palpable, but there was also a renewed sense of unity.

When dawn finally arrived, we knew we were ready to face whatever came our way. The battle was far from over, but together, we were prepared to fight for our future and the safety of our baby.

However, before we could put our plan into action, one last argument erupted between the brothers.

"Don't you think it would be better if I were the one to face him?" Mason suggested, clearly still worried about Bennett and Tessa's safety.

"Do you think you can solve everything alone, Mason?" Bennett responded, his tone filled with frustration. "We need to work together. If something happens to you, we're all lost."

"I know you're worried, but I won't let you carry this burden alone," Mason said firmly.

"Then let's do this the right way," Bennett insisted. "No unnecessary heroics."

Finally, after a long exchange of looks, they both nodded, understanding that they needed to trust each other. The argument hadn't resolved all their differences, but it had reinforced the need for unity. With that, they were ready to face Loomis together, once and for all.

The battle was about to begin, and the fate of everyone was at stake.
