Chapter 14
**Jason**
“Why are you so mad?” She slurred. She tried to use my shoulders to keep herself balance.
“Let me think,” I hissed. I tried hard not to raise my voice but I felt the anger building up inside me. “You dragged me to a party that I didn't even want to attend and then made out with a random guy right in front of me.”
“Baby I—I—I'm so sorry.” A sloppy kiss was landed on my cheek and I quickly pushed her away. This was the last straw. I've been so patient with her after the death of her dad but I couldn't do it anymore. I looked at her with sympathy because I still cared for her but I knew it was over.
“You look just like her.” I whispered. Though I know this was a dream, it still seemed like she was really next to me.
“Who?”
“Blake.” I answered. I couldn't deny the similarities that she and Blake shared; though she had blonde straight hair and Blake had curly red hair, I couldn't deny the green emerald eyes they share, similar heights and they had this presence that just makes you want to be around them.
“Do you like her?” She asked, her shoulders slump as she made her way to one of the patio chairs that was laid out for the party and she sat down. She patted the seat next to her and I sat down.
I sighed. “I don't think so and I know she doesn't like me either.”
“I'm really sorry.” She said sadly, her eyes averted and she started playing with her nails. I still loved her. I leaned forward and I tucked some blond hair behind her ears and her eyes locked with mines.
“It's okay.” I said, “I know you didn't mean to make out with that guy.”
“No,” She sighed, “About that night with me and your cousin.”
“But that night hadn't happened yet.” My eyebrows scrunched up in confusing.
“This is a dream remember?” She reminded, “Whatever you remember, I remember.”
I laughed humorlessly, getting up from my chair. “So why didn't you apologize that night?” By now I couldn't keep my cool and I was yelling. “Why were you such a heartless bitch afterward?”
Though I was seeing red, Taylor kept surprisingly calm. “You wanted an apology and I gave you one.”
“Taylor King, you are such a bitch.” I spat.
She just shrugged, “I know.” I glared at her.
For years now, I've been waiting for her to admit her wrongness and admit that she was a total bitch but this wasn't reality. This version of Taylor agrees with whatever I told her.
She got up from her chair and grabbed hold of my hands. “Look around, do you remember this place?” My eyes looked at my surroundings and was surprised that the party scene was gone and we were now standing outside a bowling alley.
I chuckled. “This is where we had our first date.”
“Yeah but you got us kicked out because you got in a fight with that clown that was performing at that kid's birthday party.” She laughed.
“I hate clowns.” I shivered.
“I know.” She chuckled. She leaned in and pressed her lips unto mines. I forgot how her lips always tasted like heaven.
I leaned back after a few minutes and smiled down at her. “I missed this.”
“I know.” she smirked.
**Blake**
By the time I came home from practice, I was exhausted; I had to work extra hard since I didn't know the routine and our dance group usually have complex dance routines and only the best can cut it. I could hear the TV from the living room and I'm guessing that Jason was in there watching something. Speaking of Jason, he wasn't in English class and Dave said he hadn't seem him at school.
I set my gym bag on the floor next to the couch and plopped my ass right next to Jason. He yawned and rubbed his eyes, making me wonder if he's been sleeping all day.
An awkward silent filled the air.
After five minutes of being bored of watching hockey and getting tired of the awkward silent, I finally spoke. “Why weren't you in school?”
“I was.” He lied.
“No you weren't," I said, "Dave said he didn't see you and I want to know why.”
“I don't want to talk about it.” He snapped.
“Well I do because if dad or Madi—” I was interrupted by Jason's tongue being shoved down my throat and I find myself forgetting what I was about to say and gave in to Jason as he began nibbling on my ears.
I moaned when his hands began roaming under my shirt.
“Jason.” I moaned. My hands slid down from his neck to his zipper and I quickly pulled down his pants, along with his boxers and my hands were inches away from his dick when we were interrupted by the doorbell.
We both groaned while pushing ourselves off the couch. Jason put his boxers and pants back on while I smoothed down my hair. Jason sat back down—his way of telling me to get the door. I sighed in annoyance and walked towards the front door and swung it open to be met by Ashley and Dave. Dave, for some reaosn, was holding a stack of papers in his hands.
I let them in and they followed me back to the living room.
“What are you guys doing here?” I asked, taking my seat next to Jason.
“I thought we could have a movie night.” Ash grinned. I didn't answer her but instead nodded with a strained grin. “I don't know why he's here,” she pointed to Dave who was rocking back and forth on his heels.
Dave let out a chuckle while handing Jason the papers in his hands. “I got your homework from your classes.” Dave explained.
“Thanks.” Jason replied dryly.
I got up off the couch and grabbed hold of Ashley. “Lets go to my room.” Before she could protest I dragged her upstairs to my room.
“Whats up with you and Jason?” She asked, wiggling her eyebrows. She sat down on my bed and I sat down across from her on my bean bag chair.
“What do you mean?” I replied innocently.
“Oh please,” she scoffed, “I know sex hair when I see it and Jason's shirt was backwards.”
“Fine,” I sighed, “we are sort of hooking up.”
She gasped. “When did this happen?”
“The day I found out about Braydon and Nicole.” I shrugged.
“Way to tell your best friend.” I rolled my eyes.
We started laughing but soon we were interrupted by my ringtone and my heart skipped a beat. The song mirrors by Justin Timberlake kept playing and I knew who that ringtone belong to. My suspicion was clear when I look at my phone and the name kept flashing.
*Braydon.*
