Hades

I can't believe she agreed, she actually said yes to the whole idea, and tomorrow morning we can put our plan into action.

"You know, I really hope your idea works," she says, laying her head on my chest.

"I want you to trust Chase and I know what we are doing" I reassure her.

She hums, "Okay, so we announce the shift of the ceremony tomorrow?"

"Yes, are you sure you want to get married tomorrow?"

She nods, "I'm sure, that means I don't have wait till Saturday to get laid"

I laugh, "You want it that bad uh?"

"You have no idea" she laughs.

I kiss the top of the head, "Let's get some great we have a busy day tomorrow"

"Okay, good night"

I wrap my arms around her, "Good my beautiful bride"

And I let the darkness consume me.

"You want to do what?" Gertie yells, "You can't be serious?"

"We are deathly serious Gertie" Korey replies.

Gertie looked like she was about to have a heart attack.

"But why?"

"We want to go on an earlier honeymoon," I say, "We've been through a lot this past couple of weeks Nana and we just want to get away"

Gertie eyes me and nods her head, "I'll speak to the council"

"Yes! Thank you, Nana" I say, Korey gives me a smile.

"Korey, you'll have to come with me, we need to prep you as early as possible, the ceremony needs to be completed by sunset"

She nods and stands up, "I'll see you later baby"

She kisses me, "I love you"

"I love you too Korey, now go get sexy for me," I say and spank her ass.

"Hades!"

I blush, "Sorry Nana"

Korey let's out a giggle and Gertie pulls her away, I immediately pull out my phone and call my brothers.

"Peter, we've moved the wedding to this evening, I need your help with preparations"

"So what do you need help with?" I hear a voice say behind me.

"That trick is old Peter" I roll my eyes.

"You're old" he replies and jumps over to sit next to me, "So what's the plan?"

"To get my suit and make sure that the elders, mom and dad are here before 4 o'clock this afternoon"

"Why are you in such a hurry to marry Hades? I don't understand"

"Because we both agreed that it was the best thing to do," I say standing up, "Are you gonna help me or not?"

"I am, once you tell me the truth"

"I've told you the truth Peter now quit being a girl and let's go"

"Groomzilla much" Peter mumbles.

"I heard that Goldilocks"

We both leave the house and take my Ferrari into town, we stop by my friend Castello's Italian boutique for men.

"Hades, how are darling?" He greets with his Italian as I step into his boutique.

"I'm good Cas, how are you?" I smile.

He gives my brother a flirtatious smirk, "Peter, looking as good as ever"

Peter clears his throat, Cas always makes him feel uncomfortable," I'm good Cas, how's business"

"Good, now that you're here. So what can I help you with?"

"I'm getting married tonight," I say with a grin, "And I need a tradition ceremonial Greek suit"

He gasps, "Oh my goodness, I never thought I'd see the day"

"Well, it's here" I chuckle.

"So who's the lucky girl?" He wiggles his eyebrows.

"Korey Persephone Jones," I say with pride.

"So the prophecy is being fulfilled"

I nod, "Something like that"

"Well lucky for you, I have just the outfit"

I watch as he makes his way to the back of his shop, five minutes later he returns with a black and gold toga.

"This is made by the deities, pure cotton and the gold is the magical touch, it's for gods like yourself, your father has one just like it" he explains.

I feel the material and I can't help but love just how soft it is.

"Most expensive cotton there is" he adds.

"I'll take it" I smile.

"Excellent, let me just ring this up for you and put it back in its cover"

"Thank you Castello" he replies, pulling my platinum card from my wallet.

He takes the card from my hand and walks to the cash register.

"Aren't you going to pick anything?" I ask Peter

"You know that I don't do my shopping without Fifi"

These two were an odd couple, they didn't shop separately, they did almost everything together but now that she's pregnant and she's part of the ceremonial preparation they have to be separated.

I loved their dynamics, my cool, calm and collected brother, with a fierce and extroverted woman, they balanced each other out, just like Korey and I.

I pull out my phone and text her

- how is prep going? 👀

K - Gertie is so overbearing, I haven't had a chance to breathe in the last hour 😩😣

- I'm sorry baby, I'll make it up 2 u 😘😋

K - I want to go to Barbados for our honeymoon 😑

K - 😘😘

I chuckle to myself and put my phone back in my pocket. Castello returns and gives me my toga and Peter and I leave the shop and head back home to check on the decor.

We arrive home and the decor team is already at work, the backyard looks absolutely beautiful, everything is was coming along nicely. The sunflowers were still fresh, the table setting was just as she wanted and I couldn't help but feel proud of myself.

"This place is looking great Hades, I'm proud of you," Peter says patting my back.

"I'm proud of me to Peter, now let's go inside and relax while we wait for the priest and elders to arrive"

We walk back inside and a feeling of anxiety creeps into my stomach, we only had five hours until the wedding and I still hadn't heard from Chase, so I decided to call him.

"Hades, what's up?"

"I hope you haven't bailed on me," I say.

"I haven't, everything is going according to plan, you just have to make sure that my sunset, you've done your part" he explains.

"I will just don't let me down Chase" I beg, "you know how much she means to me"

"I know, if I didn't, I wouldn't be doing this for you man, you're my best friend," he says.

"Thank you, I'll see you later"

"Cool, bye"

I hung up the phone and turn around, Peter is looking at me with fear in his eyes.

"Please don't tell me you're thinking of doing what I think you're about to do," he says.

So he's found out.

"I don't have a choice Peter, it's either that or Demeter wins, which we all know won't end well" I reply.

"There has to be another way" he urges, "Is Korey in on this too?"

I nod.

"Hades, how could you?"

"Poseidon you of all people should understand, Demeter is bad news and someone has to deal with her, one way or another"

"But what you're doing has never been done before"

"Well, there's always a first time," I say and walk away.

I was not going to let Peter ruin my chances of having a happy life, I am not going to let Demeter take Kory away from me, she'll have to kill me first.
