"Don't worry yourself about Black, Mrs Selena. He will be fine. He just have something to do in the office." Riona said trying to console the older woman.

"I know that he has something important to do but he has also made it his notion that nothing can be done perfectly well unless he is the one who does it. Before I tolerated it because he wasn't married but now, he has to learn how to put you and your happiness first." She said as Riona patted her back.

"It is not really a big deal. Besides I don't think I want him around me 24\7. We just got married and I don't know him that much, so I think it will take some time to get some warming up to. This is a marriage without love, this is an arranged marriage. Honestly you didn't expect us to be lovey dovey at all, did you?" She said sitting down beside Mrs Selena who could only shake her head.

"I knew it wasn't going to be easy but I expected more from the both of you. Farah, why are you behaving docile. I have heard tales about what you have done and yet you are the total opposite, you behave as if you are not a mafia's daughter. You are timid and it isn't making Black like you any more." She said holding her hand as Riona resisted the urge to roll her eyes.

" That's because I am not the real Farah. Yet none of you wants to believe me and now I am being threatened to be who I am not to save my life. How did I get to this point?" She thought to herself yet she said nothing but beamed a smile at Mrs Selena and replied,

" Back then I was a Mafia daughter yes, I had the ability to do all I could and I lived as I could without bearing the consequences. Now I am married and that means I am a full blown woman. I can't afford to do things that will put me in a bad limelight and spoil my husband's name."

"Every man needs a woman that can stand beside him and prove to be worthy of his love and affection, that is what I am slowly trying to build with Black. I don't want to rush things so that trust could be mutual in this case." She said as Mrs Selena looked at her nodding her head agreeing to all that she heard.

"Yes, you are correct Farah. You speak with such great wisdom. I might have underestimated you before but you have proven to hold how to hold your front. I shouldn't be controlling too Much and let you have a say about what goes on in this house as you are now the first lady not me anymore.
And here I thought I was trying every thing I could to avoid the marriage from wreckage, not knowing that you are even planning ahead." Mrs Selena replied obviously impressed as Riona mentally palm faced herself.

This was not what she was expecting, she just wanted to give a reply that would get her out of the hook yet it seemed that Mrs Selena was just taking things too seriously. She had to play along, otherwise she was toast.
She knew what Black did to liars, seeing those men he cut up in front of her was enough warning.

Remembering this, she shivered as Mrs Selena noted her body movement and attributed it to cold.

"Oh dear, is the weather a bit chilly? In that case I better call the maid to get you a sweater. We can't have you cold before your honeymoon starts." She said as she wanted to ring the bell that was set inconspicuously on the table but Riona beat her to it saying,

"Actually I can get it myself. There is no need for me to call the maids, they are probably busy. I will be heading to the room now." She said standing up as Mrs Selena frowned at this but nevertheless sighed and said,

"If you say so then I really can't insist. I don't know if you would be interested but we do have a library if you want to pass time." She said as Riona's eyes lit up with joy.

"Really? Where is it? Of course I will be interested, I love reading. It's my favourite past time." She said hugging Mrs Selena who looked stunned and confused for a bit but managed to reply,

"Oh okay, I could have sworn that you hated reading, but hey hobbies can change. The library is on the 7th floor do you need directions? Should I call a maid?" She said as Riona stood up straightening her dress as she said,

"Don't bother. This will make quite the adventure itself." She said as she ran to the steps that leads downstairs as Mrs Selena watched her with amusement.

"She could have just taken the elevator. They are faster." She said to herself but shrugged.

Kids this days were something else. She decided to go pay a friend of hers a visit as she was traveling to Paris the next day so it seemed like a perfect opportunity.


Riona on the other hand soon found the library after 123 tries. She didn't bother asking the maids about where the library was situated because it would spoil the fun. And she was looking for ways to keep her busy.

Her mouth dropped open as she finally spotted the library. The inner were bigger as she stroller in. It was big and magnificent. She was shocked that someone liked Black would even have a library much less this big. She never saw him as the reading type, more like kill first, ask questions later time.

She didnt even know where to start from. There was no many books catching her fancy as she walked between the shelves, taking a few books with her that she wasn't able to totally resist.
She didn't even bother finding a table for herself as she sat on the floor and started reading them.
