Epilogue
POV Brooke Roberts
I look at myself in the mirror and smooth down my dress, the moss green silk hugging my body and falling to mid-thigh. I pin up the top sections of my hair and let the rest fall in waves over my shoulders.
"Honeybee, are you ready?" I shift my gaze from my reflection to the man waiting at the bedroom door.
"Just need to put on lipstick and I'm coming down," I tell him.
He walks over to me and I take a moment to admire my boyfriend. He's wearing a charcoal suit—something rare for Seth, and honestly, a shame. He somehow looks even hotter and more commanding in formal wear. Who am I kidding? Seth Donahue could command any room just by walking into it.
"You look stunning," he says, lightly touching my waist.
The intensity of his gaze makes me blush. How is it possible that I still haven’t gotten used to being the focus of his love after a year?
"You’re not looking bad yourself. You should wear suits more often." I grab his tie, using it to pull him down and press our lips together. His tongue brushes mine in a tender kiss.
"And steal Kyle’s signature look?" he asks as he pulls back, sitting on the edge of the bed. "Nah, formal clothes are too restrictive." He runs his fingers along the collar of his shirt as if to emphasize his point.
"You look insanely hot in sweatpants too." I shrug and turn back to the mirror to apply my lipstick.
"Oh yeah? Only in sweatpants?" he teases. Through the reflection, I see his eyes roam over my body, heating my skin and giving me all kinds of thoughts I shouldn’t be having right now.
I turn to him once I’m done.
"I prefer you with nothing on," I wink. "But we’ve got plans, and we can’t be late."
He pulls me in by the waist, settling me between his legs. "I disagree. It’s our party, remember?"
I tilt my face toward his, my lips hovering over his for a moment before I bite his lower lip gently.
"Exactly. Shall we?" I step back, and he shakes his head.
He slaps my ass as he stands up. "You’re gonna pay for that later, Honeybee."
"Can’t wait."
I check to make sure I’ve got everything I need for the night in my purse. That’s when Raffi appears at the door.
"With how long you two were taking, I thought I’d find you both naked," he comments, leaning against the doorframe.
"Is that disappointment I hear in your voice?" I tease.
"Maybe." He smiles, and my heart skips a beat. "You look delicious, babygirl."
Raffi is wearing a light blue suit that complements his skin tone. His long hair is loose, and he’s not just trouble—he’s the whole damn road to ruin.
"You’re looking pretty good yourself." I glance behind me at where Seth still waits on the bed and then back at Raffi. "I think I might get overshadowed."
"That would never happen," Raffi says, stepping closer, his hand gliding down my side. He lowers his head and kisses my neck, right under my jaw, making my skin shiver.
"Honestly, I expected that from Raffi, but you too, Seth?" Kyle complains as he walks into the room. I feel his eyes on me, his expression softening as he smiles.
Seth raises his hands in surrender. "I can't be blamed when our girlfriend decides to seduce me."
"How is it always my fault?" I protest.
"Easy, babygirl, it's three against one."
"You guys are impossible!" I head for the door.
"But you love us anyway," Kyle says, wrapping his arm around my waist and looking deeply into my eyes. A half-smile plays on his lips. "You look even more beautiful today, Sunshine."
He gives me a quick kiss and steps back, his eyes dark with desire.
"Seriously, it’s impossible to resist your charm," he murmurs.
For a second, I consider canceling the plans for tonight. I could just stay here and enjoy the celebration I know will happen. But tonight matters—for so many reasons—and I don’t want to miss my first public event as a partner at Hades’ Men.
"Well, you’ll have to try, we’ve got a launch to attend."

The construction of the new Underworld took a year to complete. But today, finally, it was being opened to the public.
The structure is very similar to the previous one, but now it has two bars on the ground floor, one on each side. The dance floor takes up all the remaining space. The entire place is lit by blue and purple lights, keeping the visual identity. The mezzanine in the private area is still accessed by stairs, but now the VIP members of the club have access to an exclusive elevator.
"Welcome to Underworld 2.0!" Darius greets us as soon as we enter through the side door. The club is already in full swing, but I saw the crowd still waiting at the doors for a chance to get in.
I smile at him.
"Any problems?"
"None, boss."
Boss. Six months ago, I became a partner at Hades Men’ Corp, with equal power to the guys. I still haven’t gone back to my job as a kindergarten teacher and maybe never will. Some days, I miss the contagious energy the kids gave me, but I found another way to channel my calling to teach.
Twice a week, I give free self-defense classes to women at our corporate headquarters. Helping women feel safe, strong, and confident has become a mission for me.
"You did a great job, congratulations," Kyle compliments and motions me to follow.
The beat of the music reverberates through my body and I watch the chaotic rhythm of bodies moving in sync. I smile when all I feel is pride and joy, not even a hint of fear or anxiety despite being surrounded by so many people.
My recovery isn’t over yet, and probably never will be—and that’s okay. But the nightmares are less frequent and affect me less. I’ve learned not to blame myself for my traumas, not to let them control me, and found new ways to stay anchored in the present.
Raffi pulls the black card with the purple Underworld logo from his pocket and activates the elevator, taking us to the mezzanine.
As soon as the doors open, I see my best friend in a red dress talking to my ex-bodyguard. She notices me a second later and runs to hug me, leaving Ethan, who nods our way in greeting.
"Let’s go get drinks. The usual, Honeybee?" Seth asks, touching my arm and getting my attention.
"Yes, please."
The three of them leave, and Liv wraps me in a tight hug. I’ll never be able to express in words how much she means to me, how vital her friendship is. How all her support, affection, and unconditional love helped me get here.
"It looks so perfect. I’m so proud of you. The idea of two bars is genius, I can already tell the difference—the lines are shorter and more efficient." She smacks my arm. "And you convinced them to add the elevator! Okay, it’s just for members, but I’ll still find a way to steal one of those cards."
"I’m glad you liked it." I open my purse and pull out one of the access cards. "You mean one of these?"
"Yes, show-off. Whatever, I’ll get one eventually."
I extend my hand to her.
"No!" she screams and hugs me again. "I don’t believe it." She looks at the card again and shrugs. "Never doubted you."
"I noticed."
She looks around before whispering in my ear.
"Are you really doing it tonight?"
My heart races, and I feel butterflies in my stomach. I nod.
"Good. You guys deserve it."
"Deserve what?" Raffi asks, wrapping an arm around my waist and handing me a glass with a three-colored drink.
"The success of Underworld."
Kyle and Seth are already at our table, Ethan chatting with them when we join.
The conversation flows easily in our group—the guys debating the potential winners of the next football season, and Liv rolling her eyes every time they mention her cousin, Patriots quarterback Trey Jones.
My nervousness builds gradually as the night goes on. I finish my second drink, looking for a bit of liquid courage. Liv squeezes my hand and pulls Ethan to the dance floor.
"Everything okay, Sunshine?" Kyle asks, his eyes studying me, undoubtedly sensing my restlessness.
"Yes, everything’s great," I say. "Is it too soon to inaugurate the office?" I ask, my tone suggestive.
"Thought you’d never ask," Raffi says.
My boyfriends stand up immediately. Seth offers me his hand and we walk toward the elevator. As soon as the doors close, the atmosphere shifts. My body becomes hyper-aware of the space around me and the three men sharing it.
The doors open on the third floor and Kyle unlocks the office door.
The second I step through the threshold, their hands are on me. He grabs my hips and claims my lips in a searing kiss. Someone presses against my back, and I feel Raffi’s beard on my neck as he licks my skin. Seth is by my side, his hand sliding up my leg and slipping under my dress to the apex of my thighs—my pussy throbs in response.
I get lost in the sensations they give me, my body a volcano erupting, and it takes me a few minutes to remember why I brought them here.
"Wait," I mumble, and Kyle pulls back slightly. Raffi nibbles on my earlobe. Seth’s hand pauses over my panties, his thumb pressing my clit and making it nearly impossible to think straight. "I need to say something."
"Can it wait?" Raffi asks, grinding his erection against my ass.
"No."
He sighs but steps back, and Seth withdraws his hand—I instantly regret my decision.
"You’ve got one minute," the youngest warns, adjusting himself in his pants.
"You’re kidding."
"Fifty-nine, fifty-eight, fifty-seven..."
"Okay." I step aside, needing the physical distance before I give in to the living sin that are my men.
I take a deep breath and clutch the purse still hanging on my shoulder. This is it.
"You’ve always been part of my life, were my friends for years, and then showed me what love is—what it means to be loved unconditionally, flaws and all. You saved me in so many ways, helped me when even I thought it was impossible." I swallow the lump forming in my throat. "Each of you completes me in a unique way, and I can’t imagine my life without you in it." I feel my eyes burn at the love and devotion on their faces. I pull the velvet box from my purse and hold it out. "So my question is: will you marry me?"
"You stole our line," Raffi complains, pulling a box from his own pocket. Seth and Kyle do the same.
"So that’s a yes?" I ask.
"You had doubts?" Kyle says, stepping closer, showing a delicate ring with a diamond at the center.
"I love you, Honeybee. I always knew you were my salvation. I can’t imagine a better way to spend the rest of my life than by your side." Seth takes my left hand and slides the ring, covered in small curved diamonds, onto my ring finger.
Kyle takes my hand next, his eyes meeting mine, and a flood of emotions washes over me.
"I’ll never be able to thank my parents enough for deciding to leave San Francisco and move to Palo Alto—it’s because of them I met you and found my soulmate. But I have no doubt we would’ve found each other anyway, Sunshine. My life doesn’t make sense without you."
My eyes well up as he slides the ring onto my finger, fitting it above Seth’s.
Raffi steps in and holds my hand. My heart beats so fast I’m sure they can hear it.
"Babygirl, one day I told you that you owned my heart, my soul—everything I am. When I said that, I thought it was impossible to love you more than I did in that moment. I was wrong. Every day by your side, I fall harder, and I can’t wait to love you even more tomorrow and every day after." He slides the ring, a mirror of Seth’s, fitting perfectly above the other two.
I stare at my hand, and it seems the saying was right—happiness is only real when shared. And I can’t wait to share my life with these three.
End!
