Chapter 20: Investigation

-What the fuck is wrong with you Felix, you think it's funny, just go away.

Marcus was starting to get tired of Felix's attitude and started to face Felix.

-Well, well, does the overthrown king think he can beat me? Do you want to take another beating?

Felix didn't back down from his plan to irritate Marcus and continued to taunt him.

Seeing Felix leaving, Alexander notices all the things, bragging that I say before in front of Marcus, in the worst case Marcus could hit him.

But to his surprise, Marcus just focused on his lunch box and sat back in his chair with his head down.

While laughing mischievously, Alexander decides to go to his seat while everyone else, including Sophia, looked at him, maybe things were changing.

Time passed and classes were coming to an end, with a slumped Alexander due to all the excessive concentration he was focusing on studies.

Well, before the end of class, I'm going to tell you that you will have an end-of-semester paper in groups of two.

(A paper? What was missing and the worst thing is that it is in teams).

-Everyone must form a pair before the end of the week and work on your project from today, with this saying you can go home.

Saying these words, the teacher left the classroom and left the students talking and forming groups among themselves.

Seeming more like an order than a request, Sophia tells her thoughts to Alexander who was looking at her in a very surprised way for what she was telling him.

Alexander was very pleased with Sophia's request, so, with a happy face, he replied with an instant affirmative.

Alexander follows Sophia to the back of the alley in search of the sound, as they get closer the sound was more obvious, it looks like someone is hitting a steel pipe with another weapon.

(Could it be vandals in search of something?)

Alexander was getting defensive, in any case they were vandals or even worse, a gang, he had to fight.

Alexander and Sophia, were able to see someone hitting the steel pipe with a wooden sword, so they decide to get closer to see who it is.

-Hey, what are you doing? -Sophia, unafraid of the armed person, asks this question.

-Me? Huh? -The person in question turns around, to see those who stopped her in her activity, but as soon as she could see the person she stopped in her tracks.

The person who was making noise was none other than Laura, who had a wooden sword in her hand.
