Chapter 84: One more day of the day
"You failed again, you can't move the horse to that spot."

Alexander's pacing is stopped by a scream echoing throughout the hallway, so he stops to see what it was about.
"Hey, hi, can I help you with something?" -Alexander turns around to find a short-haired girl wearing glasses.
"Yeah, you... You must be Alexander from the Ryo, right? I want to give this to you. -The girl hands a letter to Alexander, who doesn't know what to say or answer.

"Don't tell Richard my name."
Alexander was looking for words to thank the girl, but the girl explains herself at the last moment, it seems that girl was interested in Richard and not him.
"I see, I will give it to him, don't worry about anything" -Although he was a little angry, Alexander smiles to the girl and decides to fulfill the wishes of the girl who shows a big smile of excitement.
"Thank you so much I owe you one" -The girl thanks Alexander as she turns her back to him.

Richard's move was quite clever, although he moved his rook to be sacrificed, Sophia could not make that move, as if Richard would have finished his bishop with his knight.
Alexander was able to slowly understand what each move was about thanks to his skill, in a short time he could learn to play well.
"Chessboards?" -With a bit of discouragement on her face the Bromck opts to leave the game in the middle giving her hand to Richard.
"Draw" -With a smile, the Hero of Imperial shakes Sophia's hand leaving it at a draw.
"Uh...what?" -Alexander had been speechless, he had no idea of Richard's gaming skills.
"What's that?" -Richard asked upon seeing the card in Alexander's hands who instead of answering simply hands it to him to sit and play with Sophia.
"Hey, why are you giving it to me? Tell me what it is" -Nervous that it is something important, but not receiving an answer from him, Richard decides to leave it on the table.
"It's a love letter a girl gave me for you, you're quite the hunk, my friend" -Alexander winks at Richard as he approaches Sophia.
"A love letter? For me? No.... I can't believe it" -Richard decides to keep the letter in his backpack, he would be too embarrassed to open it in front of his friends. "See you guys tomorrow"-Richard says as he walks out the door.
"Well, I hope you're ready now if I'm going to win" -With a smile, Alexander organized the Tokens and prepares to play against Sophia.
"Wow, someone got their confidence back, I hope your brain doesn't fail you" -The Bromck mocks the boy as he started to play.

Thanks to his skill, Alexander was able to understand Sophia's old moves while he discovered new ways to play.
Each one proved his worth at the board, the hours passed and the duo that had been left alone enjoyed a pleasant afternoon.
"Checkmate" -The cold and murderous words came out of Sophia's mouth who was beating Alexander again.
"Fuck! I thought I could do it" -With some frustration, Alexander drops his body on the table, his confidence had been destroyed in an instant.
"Relax, you did pretty well, I'm surprised you played so well in just one day" -La Bromck congratulates Alexander as he put everything away.
“I think you're ready for that final now, you can win” -With a smile the Bromck points to the door to Alexander who stood up ready to leave together with her.
The duo was starting to leave down the hallway, due to the fact that they lasted some time playing they are the last to leave the high school.
"I must admit I've never had so much fun on a day off, I used to spend it alone, but now.... I spend it with you" -Sophia looked Alexander straight in the eyes with a smile as they both walked.
"Yeah, it looks like..."
Alexander who was about to answer, is interrupted by a call from his phone, it seems Richard was calling him.
"Hello, what's up Richard?" -Alexander asked somewhat concerned.
{Alexander, thank God you answered, there is an emergency!}
"An emergency? What happened, is it Star again?" -{Alexander's face turns to one of concern upon hearing his friend's words.
{Remember the letter you gave me? It wasn't a love letter like you thought it was a threat}
"A threat, will it be a rival gang?" -{Sophia asked, who worriedly walks over to Alexander to listen to their conversation.
{It's E, E wants to talk to both of us, and if we don't he'll do something to our families}
"Understood.." -{Alexander hangs up the call as he speaks in a cold and serious manner.
"Sophia, please can you go check on my mom?"
"Okay, but what will you do? It's clearly a trap" -Concerned Sophia asks Alexander.
"Relax, no one threatens my family and gets away with it, this.."
