Real Chapter 15

We went into Lucian’s office, and they were staring at me with worry and concern etched across their faces. “I traveled in time again and I know everything and for you to fully comprehend you do as well.” Andrew, mom, and Lucian were adjoining hands and I grabbed both my mother and Lucian’s taking a deep breath and letting the power flow within us all. Suddenly we flickered through time once again back to before it all happened before my grandfather turned for greed of power. When we arrived at our destination, they all got up and followed me.
I grabbed my mother’s hand and tuned to her with sadness in my eyes she needed to see this more than anything. We then opened the doors to a cottage in the middle of nowhere, in the center of the living room was my grandfather, the father of the man she was to marry and a witch. She was beautiful in her own way, dark flawless skin, long hair in braids black with blonde tips, dark brown eyes. She had on a black leather top and pants but covered in an oversized flowing purple satin shawl.
They were talking quietly amongst each other but the witch did not look like she was there by choice. We all began listening to the conversation. “Your daughter needs to marry my son to merge our packs.” My grandfather was looking conflicted. “I can not force her to marry anyone she is her own person and I know for a fact she wants to wait for her mate.” He spoke which confused all of us.
“You are willing to let your pack, your kingdom fall unto the hands of someone you have not even met yet. My son is strong and has spent his life training to be an Alpha.” My grandfather than walked over to the mantle of a fireplace and began pouring himself a drink. “My daughter is not being forced for anything. The goddess has chosen someone for her and the crown. The one who was made for her.” My grandfather was firm and direct in his words.
The other man than carefully snuck up behind my grandfather stabbing him in the side of the neck. My grandfather fell to his death. My mother began crying as we continued to watch the events unfold. “Now witch do what I told you to now or they die.” The witch looked scared and angry. You could tell she was resentful but began chanting and a purple magic flowed through her hands over the man. He morphed into my grandfather.
We then snapped back into the present where my mother was heartbroken. “I thought all these years my father hated me but he died to stand up for me and that man became him.” Mother cried out as Andrew held her tightly. Me on the other hand I was feeling so much anger flowing through me. I had to keep it contained.
“Let’s all get some rest and we will meet first thing in the morning.” Lucian spoke. He grabbed my hand and walked us to the bedroom. I striped down and wore a tank and shorts to bed. Lucian pulled me close to his chest, holding me like I could disappear at any minute. I had to do something and fast before any more people or their families were hurt due to this. “I love you Raylynn.” I heard his tried deep voice. “I love you to Lucian.” I responded and quickly past out to the sound of his heartbeat against my cheek.
I woke up early that morning, before anyone else. I knew what I had to do no matter how hard it would be. As I put on my clothes and grabbed the items I would need I looked back to my wonderful mate. “I love you Lucian.” I whispered and quietly snuck out without making hardly any noises. Freyja whimpered in my mind at the fact of leaving her mate but she knew this was what needed to be done.
I took off through the woods until I reached the end of the territory. I stood there knowing someone was watching. I was going to wait all day if I had to. “Well, look what we have here.” I heard the familiar voice. The man who held our men was now walking out of the brush towards me. “Where is your back up. I mean its not like the Alpha would let you come alone.” I rolled my eyes as he continued to speak.
“I am not here to play games. Where are our soldiers?” He laughed and motioned towards the woods. Then our men were escorted out of the brush into view. “Now what is your decision?” he asked getting impatient.
“I will come willingly but not until they are released and let go. There is no harm to come to them.” He stared for a brief moment and nodded towards his men. They cut the restraints on our soldiers who walked to me. I know in packs how things work. I looked at the men standing before me. “I know each of you would give your life for your Alpha and your Luna. Just as we would do for you. Now it is time for you all to return home and for me as your Luna to save you. Just tell your Alpha I love him and he can always know where I am just takes a chip off the old block.” They looked at me with serious confusion. “That is an order, now go.” I shouted.
I gave them a few seconds to disappear into the forest behind me unto the territory before I walked over to the barbarian. He grinned in victory as they placed silver cuffs over my wrists. “Let’s go boys I believe our Master will be very pleased with our victory here today.” He said as two me began shoving me to follow their leader and take me off the territory.

Lucian
I smiled as I begin to stir under the covers. When I raised up I noticed the bed was empty. I listened but I heard nothing coming from the bathroom. I sniffed the air her scent was strong but I could tell she was not in the room. Lucifer began to panic in my head. As I began to get dressed I tried to mind link Raylynn but nothing.
I ran to the library. Anytime she is stressed or overwhelmed that seems to be her safe haven. When I entered she was not there either. I began to get seriously worried. Before I had the chance to mind link anyone else I felt someone trying to mind link me. ‘Alpha, the warriors are back out front hurry.’ I took off without a second thought to see what was going on.
When I reached the front of the pack house I saw all the warriors that were held captive now lying there out of breath and wounded. "What happened? How did you escape?" I asked in shock.
"The Luna saved us. She ordered us to leave." I heard his words but I did not want to believe them. “Alpha.” I heard another warrior shout and I ran to him. “Luna. She gave me a message to get to you. She said Just tell your Alpha I love him and he can always know where I am just takes a chip off the old block.” Chip off the old block I was confused. I quickly mind linked her brother and mother. ‘Meet me in office now.’
I waited as patiently as I could for them to arrive. I heard the door open and everyone rushed in panicked. “Where is Raylynn? What happened?” I sighed trying to remain calm. “She snuck out while we all were asleep and gave her self up for the warriors.” They gasped and began to panic. “Calm down she gave a message to one of the warriors I cannot explain or figure out. She said could always find her just take a chip off the old block.”
Andrew began thinking hard I could tell his mind was spinning in thoughts. “Wait. I think I know. Come to my office.” I did not question it and ran to the beta’s office. “I brought Raylynn in here the other day and we were discussing an invention I was working on.” I was puzzled. “I was working on a tracking chip. It was for anyone of the rogues captured that we did not fear to install and find their home base. There is a block that I keep them in. Here.” he said as he grabbed a big black metal block that had a lot of mini chips in it.
He began looking at the block carefully. “Here. There is one missing. I have not messed with these. It had to be Raylynn.” I stood beside him and he was right. This had to be what she meant by chip off the block. “Track it Andrew. She planned this and knew you would figure it out. We have to find her.” He nodded and got out his lap top. Just hold on Raylynn we will be there soon. “Lucian, I found her.”
