CHAPTER 15 (Marina)

MARINA

I groaned in frustration as the hit of the sunstroke at the left of my eye as I opened it slowly. I looked at the clock and it was saying 11:00 in the morning, I started panicking and woke Adam up because he is late for his work.



And I found myself alone in the room.



"Why did I sleep so long and he didn't even wake me," I said to myself as I tucked a hair in my ear and headed out to the kitchen.

I found a sticky note in the refrigerator as I got water to drink and read it loudly.



Sweetheart,

Sorry for not waking you because it seems like you're tired and I decided to just let you sleep. I have cooked you breakfast already, eat okay? I don't want you to be starving and you're skinny enough.

We have dinner tonight. I bought you a dress to wear for tonight. It's in our room in a box. Exactly 6:00 pm I'll come. Love you.

I giggled as soon as I finished reading the note and hurriedly ran into the room and found the box where the dress is.



I excitedly wear it and it fits like a glove in my body, it was a cream lace dress that just looks like my second skin and its neckline traveled down between my cleavage and it pulled tight around my waist emphasizing my curves and ended just above my knee.

I smiled as I looked at my reflection in the mirror wearing the dress.



"Beautiful," my smile fades as I remembered that this is me whom I am looking in the mirror and not my sister.



"I know I am selfish Mirana but I just want to feel loved by someone I love from the beginning, just for tonight I promise after this night I'll ready myself for telling him the truth," I said to myself and my tears started rolling down to my cheeks.



I heard a growl inside the room and I started to laugh as I felt that it was my tummy.



"My dinosaurs are hungry. I guess it's time for me to eat then," I mumbled in my breath.



After I ate, I decided to clean the kitchen and our room. I was so busy cleaning our room especially in our cabinet and the suit of Adam I decided to arrange it and did not notice the time.



"Oh crap! It's already 5:00? Are you kidding me?" I check the clock if it is wrong, I also check my phone if it's the same and I start running into the bathroom to take a shower.



"Way to go, Marina, next time you should wake up early and not 11 in the morning so you can be ready for a situation like this," I said to myself as I turn the shower.



I cannot believe that I was cleaning the house for 4 hours.

I used my strawberry shampoo and the vanilla soap in my body and shaved. I don't know what I am doing, I just want to be beautiful in front of Adam.

I suddenly stopped as I remembered Mirana, either she's not texting or calling me anymore. Maybe she's busy with the things at her wedding and she forgot me.



I wish her the best for her wedding day that she will be living happily in the arms of Marco, even if she just used me for her plan I am still gonna forgive and wish her a happy life in her marriage. And after this night, I don't know what will happen to me.

I covered myself as I finished and blow dried my hair dry. I looked at the clock and it was already 5:25 pm so I pushed myself and took the dress that Adam gave to me.



I smiled as I wore it again for the second time, it fit well and it was like it was made for me. I took a sit-in and did some make-up and do my hair. I decided to pull my hair back into a ponytail and leave some strands of my hair and curled it down. I choose to wear a nude heel so the color of it will bond to my cream dress. My lips were in red lipstick and my eyes were shade in a smoky emphasizing the love in my eyes for him.



I heard the sound of the car getting inside of the gate and I quickly grabbed the things I needed in my clutch, phone, powder, money and headed out.



I found Adam standing in the door and he looks gorgeous in his black suit. His eyes were glistening as he saw me coming down, he smiled showing his perfect white smile and I can't help myself to go red and my legs were like jelly as I got closer to him.



"You're breathtakingly beautiful," he said in my eyes as he handed me a rose.



"Thank you and you don't look too bad for yourself," I said as I got the flower in his hand.



"Let's go before I can take you in our room," his raspy voice filled my ear. He grabs my waist and pulls me closer to his warm body.



"What if I postponed this date?" he whispered seductively.



"Adam," I pouted, I don't want to postpone this night.



He chuckled and kissed me hungrily before winking.



"Kidding, I've made an effort for this date, that can wait," he winked at me and he shows his perfect smile.



He knows how to make me blush harder. I love him more than myself.

ADAM'S POV



Me and Keiro are here at my rest house. You can see the ocean form here and here I make my proposal to her.



I smiled as I picture her face in my mind, I am going to be her husband and she's going to be my loving wife. We will have children here playing in the backyard when we will be having a visit here. Today I will tie the rope for us, I love her and I can't lose her anymore. I love Mirana here in my arms and that's all that matters to me.



"Wow, man, you have a nice rest house, you didn't even tell me," Keiro shouted as he got near me on the balcony.

I snorted and rolled my eyes at him.



"You know you can do a party here, host barbecue parties or get a gorgeous tan while hanging poolside. Is this house got a Jacuzzi?" he asked as he gets her arms in his head.



"Yes just go left," I answered in a bored tone.



"Keiro you think she will like it?" I asked nervously.



"Yeah, of course, it will be heartwarming when you proposed like that, did you practice your piece?" he asked, referring to my piece.



"Yeah," I answered, my heart was pounding fast-thinking what will happen, what if she will not like it or she will dump me.



"She will say yes," he said as if he was reading my mind.



"What makes you say that?" I asked in confusion.



"Because she loves you, the way your eyes meet I can see it," he smiled reassuring me.



"Thanks, bro," I said as I pat his shoulder.



"Welcome and don't forget the number huh," he chuckled.



"Yes, here it is."



I give him the number and address he wants and he gives me a smirk. I didn't bother asking what he did, I should have been preparing myself.



"I should go now; I'll fetch her," I said as I got my key headed to my car. I am already wearing my suit for our dinner.



"Okay, I'll take care of everything for her, nothing to worry," he shouted from the balcony.



"Thanks, man, I owe you one," I shouted back as I started the engine of my car.



I am here now waiting for her in the living room. I heard the sound of her heels going down from the stairs. She was breathtaking in her dress, she's so beautiful this is my woman my everything from now.



Her flawless skin and her angelic face smiled at me making my heart melt. The way she blushes on my words, she's so innocent and that's why I love her more.



"You're breathtakingly beautiful," I said as I looked at her beautiful eyes, giving her the rose I got for her. She blushes as she gets the flowers. I so wanna take her luscious lips in mine.



"Thank you and you don't look too bad for yourself."



"Let's go before I can take you in our room," I whispered in her ear and I felt her body tense and I smirk.



"What if I postponed this date?"



"Adam," she pouted and I can't help myself to kiss her hungrily.



"Kidding, I've effort for this date that can wait," I said referring to the lovemaking

She blushes harder causing me to chuckle.



I opened the door for her in the car and thanked me.



"Where were you taking me?" she asked excitedly.



"It's a secret sweetheart," I chuckled as I heard her groan. This is the tenth time she's asked me where I will take her.



"Don't be mad. It's a surprise," I smiled at her and she returned the gesture.



"Okay, here we are," I said as I opened her door giving my hand.

She gasped as she saw the lights that Keiro made. I should owe him a big one. My hands were starting to sweat as this is on my cue now.



"Shall we?" I asked and she nods.



"This is beautiful Adam, thank you," her eyes spark as she looks at me.



"You're much beautiful," I replied, causing her to bow her head and blush, she's so cute. I lift her chin so our eyes met and I smashed my lips into hers.



She moaned my name as I deepened the kiss more and held her waist closer to mine. She trailed her hands to my neck then to my hair and tugged causing me to moan. She opened her mouth and I slid my tongue on her and she even more tugged and deepened the kiss while saying my name.



"Get a room you two!" Keiro shouted in front of us.



I can see the face of Mirana is now burning in red.



"Shut up you're just jealous 'cause you don't have one," I smirk and he just snorted.



"Keiro will take care of you a minute I'll just go get something," I smiled at her and she nodded while returning the gesture.



Keiro assists her in her chair where she can see me propose to her. And they started talking comfortably with each other. My heart was pounding fast as I took the microphone and get the ring in my pocket.



"You will be my wife," I said as I look at the ring in the box.



"You ready?" Keiro asked in nowhere and I just nodded in agreement.



"How's she?" I asked.



"She doesn't know anything so you ready man? Because I'm starving I need to chill in your Jacuzzi," he chuckled sheepishly.



"Yeah."
