Hidden mysteries

Queen Isle was dumbfounded, she gazed silently at the black witch who was staring blankly at her.

The black witch suddenly let out a chuckle, the heavens were growling heavily as the drizzle began to plunge on the earth.

Alpha was still rumbling, and grumbling at the guards, he battled to let loose of the strong chains tied around him —but it seemed to be extremely strong for him as he struggled to dash after his wife.

He could feel his wolf being stirred up, he could feel a part of him becoming alive once again!

"Make him stop!" Queen Isle yelled at the black witch, she worried he might break off —hence, the black witch did just as she requested.

In a blink, Jeffery groaned and he knock down to the ground when the witch cast a finger at him.

Hence, the flames burning Luna Henrietta were put off but alas! She was dead already and her body is burnt beyond recognition.

At that moment, Queen Isle abruptly found herself inside her chamber with the black witch.

"Why are you here?" Queen Isle suddenly asked the black witch, walking towards her bed as she crouched her butt on the smooth surface.

"Why did you kill her?" The black witch asked her, instead.

Her long curly black hair wavering in the air, she stood in the middle of the queen's room.

"She deserves it, after all her husband killed my husband," Queen Isle gruffly replied.

The black witch remained voiceless, her dark eyes were on the Queen who stared back straight at her.

"Why are you suddenly here? You came here to my palace unexpectedly,” the queen said, forthwith.

"Don't you wanna see me, huh?" The black witch asked, she lifted her hand and a dark sparkle erupt for a brief minute.

"And why will I want to see you, huh? Not after you made that old fool come here to terrorize me," Queen Isle uttered, rolling her eyes dramatically at the her.

The black witch smiled, her hands crossing on her chest as she spoke to her. "You mean Basildon, the old dragon? Well, I didn't mean to tell him about your existence. But then, he paid a huge price for it,”

"Whatever!" Queen Isle mugged.

Hence, a knock was heard on the door and both ladies kept muffler for a second.

"That's Shawn, your guard," the black witch informed, her eyes gleaming as she caught the scent of the guard.

"What is it, Shawn?" Queen asked from the inside.

"My Queen, I seek your royal permission to bury the late luna," Shawn replied from the outside door.

"No! Throw her body into the woods, I want the animals to feast on her body!" Queen Isle snapped, standing up from the bed.

"Y-yes, my queen!" Shawn replied, and his fading footsteps were heard next.

Queen deeply sighed, she wiped her forehead as she slumped back on the bed.

"Why are you staring at me like that, huh?" She asked the black witch.

"You ain't rightfully serving the temple as it should be," the black witch informed, steely.

"I am!" Queen Isle stated to her, firmly.

"You are not, Isle! Your body goes there every night but your mind is no longer serving it —I'm afraid, what if he succeeds to escape from his cage?" The black asked, and queen Isle sprang to her feet on hearing about her *NIGHTMARE*

"He won't!" Queen Isle uttered in her vicious voice.

"I promise you, I will keep on serving the temple more thoroughly than before, okay? I can't afford to let that bastard off my hook after long years now that I have been serving the temple just because of him,” Queen Isle let out.

She maliciously clenched her fist, her eyes dimming deeply at the witch.

"Hmm, good!" The black witch nods at her, and she began to walk towards the window.

"You saw the mark on Jeffery's chest, right?" She added, glimpsing at Queen Isle as she got to the window.

"Yes, I did. I was even planning on coming to see you about it," Queen Isle said, staring at her back from the bed which she sat on.

"Hmm, I sensed it when I arrived at the pack. Truly, I can't tell what it means but I can only say he has a slight connection with the dragons," the black witch disclosed.

"That's impossible!" Queen Isle clamored, she sprang from her bed and proceed to pace towards the black witch who stood beside the window.

"I wish I was, Isle,” the black sarcastically said, peering at the rain falling beautifully outside the window.

"How can he possess a connection with the dragons? He is a complete werewolf — a beast can not have more than one beast in its body," Queen Isle growled.

She was hearing the impossible, there was no way Jeffery could have more than one beast in his body.

“I swear I have seen that mark on someone before, but not on Jeffery,” she added, and the black witch snapped her head at her.

"Isle, truly there's no way I can explain the mystery —but I have to warn you, I can see a great danger hovering on you," the black witch divulged, her dark black eyes dragging back to the window.

Instantaneously, Isle stayed numb. Her hardened face glared at the black witch as her words sank into her ears.

The black witch only meant one word —someone was planning evil on her, and her sole life is in danger.

But who could that be? Who could be planning to annihilate her?

In the pack village, the pack members couldn't be seen as everyone was inside their abodes —it was still raining heavily.

But in the middle of the pack village, two souls could be discerned as they strode quickly in the rain —they came across to be in a hurry.

"Laid her to rest yet?" Lady Macbeth asked, pacing quickly with her hands crossed behind her back.

"I don't know yet, but the guards took her to the woods —that's the Queen's orders that Henrietta should be thrown off in the woods," Shawn replied to her, glancing at her each time as they walked on.

"I feel so much the alpha, he has gone through a lot!” Lady Macbeth mutters, and she snatched in a deep heave.

Momentarily, they got to an abandoned-looking cottage and they scurried to the door.

"Darn it!" Shawn cussed, glaring at the cloudy streaming sky.

Meanwhile, Lady Macbeth knocked on the door and they waited for a while... After a few seconds, the door was opened and they both stepped into the empty room.

"Finally, you both came to see me," a feminine voice that sounded crackly said.

Lady Macbeth walked further into the room, while Shawn closed the door behind his back.

The house looked unkempt as usual, the walls and windows are filled with dirty dust and the room smells bad —but you dare not complain in Matilda's house.

"How are you doing Matilda?" Lady Macbeth asked, her eyes staring at the half-broken door of the other room by the left side of the house.

Matilda is known as a crazy lady in the pack village, no one wishes to associate with her ever since she lost her husband, her child, and her sanity —they all called her a witch.

But, Shawn and Lady Macbeth we're an exception —they knew the lady needed care and not negligence.

"You are here to seek about the alpha slave who possesses the mark on his chest," Matilda revealed, her boisterous laughter resonating eerily from the room.

Shawn trembled a bit as he moved close to Lady Macbeth, as much as he used to come to this place most times with Lady Macbeth —he still fears the old crazy lady who loves hiding inside her room whenever they come by to see her.

"Yes, your right, Matilda," Lady Macbeth responded, her hand clamped together as she fidget her fingers while waiting to hear what Matilda would have to say to her.

"The alpha has a connection with the dragons, a connection that was forged thousands of years ago with his mate," Matilda disclosed with her croaked voice.

"With his mate?" Shawn muttered confusingly, but his voice whistled like a whisper.

"But his mate is dead," Lady Macbeth said, firmly.

"You are wrong, Macbeth —Henrietta wasn't his first mate and she wasn't his destined one, the destined is unknown and still alive!" Matilda divulged, and then, a cough was heard from her.

Hence, the souls knew it was time to leave her home.

"Take care, Matilda. We shall come by next time," Lady Macbeth told, and she left the house with Shawn.

While on they way home, Shawn continuously glanced at lady Macbeth. By then, the heavy drizzle has stopped.

Inwardly, Shawn saw how reluctant Lady Macbeth was to leave Miltida’s house —And just like her, he hadn't wanted to leave.

He needed answers too, a lot of them.

There are a lot of mysteries that have to be uncovered, there are hidden secrets that need to be unearthed to the world before it's too late.
