The war between the humans and Vampires

At the castle, Penelope stood at the wide entrance of the west building as she watch the enormous warrior men and Queen Isle and Beta Kappa leading them in the front.

It was obvious they were going to war, she had heard about the rumor from the maids in the kitchen.

Penelope tugs her lips into a frown as she recalls last night, Jeffery had spent the night in the queen's room and there was nothing she could do about it.

"That wicked woman, I just wish I could be able to kill you Isle, and then, feed your flesh to the dogs," she murmurs lowly, her hands cracking into fists.

Hence, Penelope briskly storms towards the cell where Jeffery was locked up this morning —She walks past the guards who stood at the doorpost, and she got to the cell.

"Alpha!" She halted at the cell door, and she bowed.

Jeffery was sitting on the dirty floor of the cell, he hugged his legs to his chest with his face buried on his knees. "What are you doing here, Penelope?" He asked, noting her presence.

"I came here quickly as soon as I heard you were locked up, Alpha," Penelope says worriedly, gazing pitifully at him.

"You have to leave before Isle comes here," he says, raising his head to stare at her. "....I wouldn't want her to attack you," he added.

Penelope's face flushed in excitement on hearing how concerned he feels for her, there was no doubt that he does have her in his mind.

"You don't have to worry, alpha. Isle has gone to war," Penelope disclose, stepping closer to the cage door.

She's looks extremely unkempt, her clothe was old and ragged and were barely covering her belly. Her hair was ruffled, and dark circles around her eyes.

"War?" Jeffery thought, he tilted his head aside as he recalled how Isle has drunkenly spilled about the war to him. "...which of the kingdom is she attacking?" Jeffery asks, snapping his head at Penelope.

Penelope was lost, why does the alpha seem agitated? Is there something going on that she doesn't know about?

"I heard she was attacking the Vampire kingdom," Penelope reveals, and immediately, Jeffery sprang to his feet.

"What!" He growled shockingly, causing his Penelope to flinch as he dashed after her. "...she's attacking king Maddox's kingdom!" He exclaimed miserably at her.

"Huh!" Penelope screams realizing why the alpha was appalled. " ...but why would she attack him? The King isn't known to be troublesome," she added, baffled.

"I think she found out that Maddox had sneaked into the castle to see me, Maddox was here a few days ago with the intent to help me escape," Jeffery revealed to Penelope, and her shoulders dropped.

"The hell!" She lowly muttered, dragging her eyes down as she bites her lips. "....there's no way we can forewarn him, Isle's guards are everywhere around the kingdom," she says, despondently.

Penelope knew how close the know kings were (Jeffery and Maddox), she wasn't surprised at all when the alpha divulged to her about the Vampire king who sneaked into the castle to him (Jeffery).

"What do we do now?" She asked, her brown small eyes staring at the alpha who had a troubled look.

"We don't have any other choice than to await for the result of the war, I just hope Maddox doesn't get into difficulty because of me," Jeffery grimly utters, his hands gripping the edges of the cell door.

Silence engulfs the whole dungeon, and the air around them became intense and overwhelming —they were extremely apprehensive and unsettled.

At the dusk, Queen Isle and her men arrived at the Vampires kingdom. They all gathered at the border of the kingdom, they already killed the vampire's guards at the border.

"Shawn!" She stringently calls, and Shawn comes into view as he quickly rushed toward her.

"Yes, my queen!" He bows in front of her.

"Take some of the men with you, ambush the path leading from the back of the kingdom —I and beta Kappa attacks from the frontline," Queen instructed, and Shawn nods at her before running off to the men.

Selecting the hundreds of men with him, they all marched to another path leading to the woods.

"You! You and you!" Beta Kappa points at some of the men in front of him. "....take some of the men, and ambush the other path which the king might try to escape," he added, firmly.

"Yes, beta Kappa!" The men bowed, and they hurriedly left with hundreds of men.

"The rest of the men with us are capable to attack the kingdom," Beta Kappa says, and Queen Isle nods as she pulls out her sword.

"Get the fire ready!" She growls as she turned around to face the men, and promptly the fire trucks were lightened up. "....hold! Hold!! Hold!!! FIRE!!!!" She roars and instantly, the balls of fire fly to the kingdom.

The Vampire kingdom erupts in fire, every spot was in the conflagration which took the residents alarmed at the sudden occurrence.

"ATTACK!!!" Beta Kappa howls, and immediately they all barrage ahead to the kingdom as they ravaged every spot they march on.

The Vampire was stunned at the sudden attack, but at once, the rivals clashed together as a blood-bath war began.

Some of the men took the comfort of their vampire forms to attack the human warriors, and the wolf slaves of Queen Isle attacks the Vampires.

They rip each other skin, biting and tearing at one other, leaving no space for the other rival to regain their stance. The war was gruesome, it was horrible as the cries of children and women filled the air, their fathers and husbands trying to defend their homes.

"Seize those who surrender willingly, they are all meant to be taken as slaves!" Queen Isle says in high authority as she seethes to Maddox's mansion.

Beta Kappa fought those who tries to come closer to her, a few of the human guards surrounded the Queen as they lead her safely to the Vampire king's mansion.

At the wide entrance of the Vampire mansions, some of the men were laying dead on the floor in their pool of blood —some were the Vampire king’s men and a few were Queen Isle’s men.

King Maddox appears with his men who stood behind his back, ready to attack. King Maddox clutched a sword in his hand, his countenance was filled with rage.

"Queen Isle, how dare you attack my kingdom!" He growls, breathing heavily as a result of the fight he had with the men who had attacked him inside.

"You brought this wrath upon yourself, King Maddox!" Queen Isle smirked at him, devilishly.

At that moment, Queen Meridian rushes into the spot, she was panting intensely. "....please, you both should stop this fight!" She yells, pleadingly.

"I'm sorry, Meridian," Queen Isle sneers, turning aside to confront her. "...but your cowardice of a husband brought his upon himself and his people," she added.

"No, I won't have your say much about my husband, Isle. He's not cowardice!" Queen Meridian stated, firmly at the queen.

"Really?" Queen Isle grins meanly at her, Queen Meridian turns to grab a sword from the floor but Beta Kappa swiftly slashes his sword at her belly.

"MERIDIAN!" King Maddox screams, his eyes widened at his wife who was groaning achingly.

"Argh!!" Queen Meridian yelps, falling to her knees as Beta Kappa pulls his sword away.

Queen Isle laughs hysterically, she glances at King Maddox who stood numbed, he was still in deep shock as he gazes down at his bleeding wife.

As if that was not enough, Queen Isle lifts her sword and dug it viciously right into Queen Meridian's chest, causing her blood to squirt at her face.

"YOU MONSTER!!!" King Moddox thunders, dashing at Queen Isle who wasn't fast enough as he slit her arm with his sword.

"Darn it!" Queen Isle grunted as she pulls away, wobbling backward as she fell on the floor beside Queen Meridian's dead body.

Beta Kappa saw the quick move of the Vampire king and he angrily charges at him, both starting up brutal and violent combat as they pour out their rage and anger at each other.

The war was belligerent, it was intensely confrontational and hostile as both kingdoms clashed, battling in animosity.

Queen Isle was badly wounded, her arm was profusely bleeding as she spread flatly close to Queen Meridian who was now dead —a tear escape her eyes, streaming slowly on her face as her eyelids became heavy for her to keep up.

She painfully groaned, and she grunted bitterly, it felt as if the world was coming to an end as her blue ocean eyes slowly close into darkness.
