The enemy scheme

In Beta Kappa's chamber, Queen Isle was seen to be seated on his reading table while the aged man stood behind her back.

"You mean, King Maddox is trying to wage war on my kingdom?" Queen Isle says, her face crumbling.

"Y-yes, my queen!" Beta Kappa hurriedly replies. "... I got the information from my spy who dwells in his domain!" He added.

"What! How dare he? That lousy Vampire, does he wish to play with fire?" Queen Isle bellows. "But why? Why does he want to wage a war on me?" She rhetorically asks, she seems to be confused about the whole details.

"But of course to save his werewolves friends, most especially alpha Jeffery," Beta Kappa says, but queen Isle throws a glare behind him. "....I'm so so sorry my queen, I meant your slave, he's trying to save your slave!" He tells.

"That bastard!" Queen Isle hissed, standing on her feet as she walks to the dressing mirror. "...what do I do to that animal?!" She snarled, her hands angrily sweeping off the items on the table.

Beta Kappa smiled, walking closer to her, he stood behind her back as they both gazed at the mirror.

"You have to fight him back before he does, you must not give him the chance to underestimate your power," Beta Kappa says, mischievously.

Queen Isle was silent for a while, she was inwardly thinking about everything. She has to be very vigilant before taking an action, she must not do what will boomerang her later on.

But then, the black witch once warned her about an unknown enemy. Could that soul be King Maddox?

"You are right, Beta Kappa. I will have to retaliate before he does, I will have to attack him unexpectedly before he gets a glint of my aim —I swear in the gods' name, I will make him pay for everything!" Queen Isle swore, scowling at her reflection in the mirror.

"Good, and when you teach him a lesson he will never forget. The other king across the other lands will learn not to undervalue you ever again," Betta Kappa says, uptight.

At that moment, a knock was heard on the door.

"My queen!" A voice was heard, Queen Isle knew it was Shawn.

"Yes, what's it?" She asks rudely.

"My queen, a letter arrived just now. It's king Maddox, he says he would be coming over to the kingdom tomorrow," he replies, Beta Kappa chuckled.

"He's very clever, I know he wants to notify Jeffery about his plans," he said.

"Hmm," Queen Isle hummed, reckoning about the whole situation. "....Shawn, tell the Vampire king I will be awaiting his arrival!" She says to Shawn this time around.

"Yes, my queen!" Shawn replies, and then, his fading steps were heard next.

"My queen, if you don't mind. Won't it be best if you attack him when he comes right to you?" Beta Kappa suggests.

"No, that won't be good. What do you want the other kings to think of me?" Queen says, turning to face Beta Kappa. ".....it would even be best if he attacks first but I will be prepared for him," she tells.

Hence, she began to move towards the door. "The maids will bring your lunch," she says, halting at the door.

"Okay, my queen!" Beta Kappa bows at her, and then, Queen Isle left the room.

Beta Kappa chuckles. "She's so foolish, I just can't wait to finally get rid of her and her guts!" He smiles, walking towards his bed. "...and when I finally do, I will all the kingdoms to myself, ha ha hahaha!!!!!"

Seconds tickle into minutes, minutes tickled into hours as the day finally runs out, and then, the night arrives upon the kingdom.

Queen Isle could be seen walking to the temple as she was dressed in her white gown, she got to the temple and stood numbed.

"How long will I continue serving this temple just because I want to keep a lifeless soul hidden forever!" She rumbled frustratingly. "....for how long will I keep up with this act?" She added.

The night wind blew tenderly across her, causing her long black hair to ruffle as she breathed in deep appreciation.

"Why does so much have to be on my shoulder? I have a war and an enemy to face, I have to serve a goddamn temple soul just to keep a soul hidden, I have the people's welfare to take care of —all the kingdom interest is on my shoulders," Queen Isle lamented lowly as she watched the temple with her blank face.

"Goddamn you, Draco!" She growls, spilling the name of the one person she swore never to call.

—Draco.

Angrily, she turned around, walking out of the temple.

While on her way to her chamber, Queen Isle bumped into Lady Macbeth.

"My queen!" Lady Macbeth bows.

"Tell my alpha slave to bring my food to my chamber," Queen Isle ordered, not taking a stop as she kept on walking.

"But my queen, he's barely recovering from his pain and could hardly even walk," Lady Macbeth could help but say to the queen.

"Like I care?" Queen Isle rolled her eyes, she was still pacing towards her room like a warrior marching to his frontline.

"Yes, my queen!" Lady Macbeth paused on her track as she watched the queen leave. "....how long will she continue to grow in anger?" She muttered, grimly.

"Look at what she did to you?!" Penelope shouts, she was sitting beside Jeffery who laid weakly on the floor.

"It wasn't D-Danika's fault, she was o-only trying to help," Jeffery groans, his palms hugging his burning balls in-between his legs.

"Oh? You are defending her, huh? Wow!" Penelope angrily stood to her feet.

"What makes you think she meant well for you? For goodness sake, she's the sister of the woman who made us into slaves!' Penelope grumbles annoyingly.

"B-but...argh!" Jeffrey grunts, his body agonizing badly like never before. "....where is Noah?" He asks instead.

"He's with the blacksmith, he took your place instead since you had collapsed," Penelope replied, crossing her hands on her chest.

The door of the dungeon was heard to be opening, a woman was seen who emerged to be lady Macbeth with a golden tray of food in her hands.

"And what are you doing here? We don't need your food!" Penelope snaps at the aged woman who stood in the middle of the room.

"Alpha Jeffery, the Queen orders you to bring her food to her chamber," Lady Macbeth says, ignoring Penelope's statements.

"What! Can't you people see he's still in pain? He could barely even walk, why tell him to do all this?!" Penelope yells, she was getting furious over again.

"It would be best if you go to the queen and ask her that, rather than stay here and keep blabbing," Lady Macbeth gruffly says to her, and then, she faces the alpha again.

Penelope remained tight-lipped, her face was frowning hugely at the woman who had just criticized her.

Meanwhile, Jeffery was struggling to stand on his feet. His hand held his aching erection, while the other took the tray from the aged woman.

"No worries, I will take it to her," Jeffery says, his teeth gritting as he took the tray from her.

"Let me help you!" Penelope moves forward to assist him but Jeffery stopped her.

"No, I will do it myself," he asserts, and then, he left the dungeon to Queen Isle's chamber.

Jeffery jagged to Queen Isle's door, he met two guards who wouldn't stop staring at him awkwardly.

"I heard his balls were roasted!" One of the guards whispered, and they looked snickered mockingly at him.

"An alpha for that matter, huh!" The other chuckled and they tickled at each other playfully.

Jeffery remained collected, he said not a word to them until they stopped. "The Queen ordered me to bring her food to her," he finally says to them.

"Go in!" The bald guard rudely said, and the door was opened by the other guard for Jeffery to step inside.

Jeffery walks into the room, his eyes roamed to the bed and he found queen Isle sleeping. She was snoring softly, her long hair was scattered all over the bed as she widely spread.

Smells of drink linger in the air, it was apparent the queen has a dozen of drinks earlier before his arrival.

Walking to the table which was close to the bed, he lowered the golden tray on the table while his eyes never left hers —he felt the urge to kill her at the moment, but he held himself back.

He made no further attempt as he turns to leave the room. However, he abruptly halted on his track when he heard Isle's voice.

"No! Draco! Let go of me! Let go of me!" Isle screams in her sleep, she was wriggling and cringing on the bed —it was obvious she was suffering from a nightmare.

"Who's Draco?" Jeffery's mind questioned before he could stop himself. "....who cares!" He growls out, staring hatefully at her before he turns to walk away.

"P-please don't leave me, p-please save me!" Queen Isle whimpers, she was crying in her sleep.

Jeffery's hardened face fell, he watched as the tears rolled from her face —his mind wandered off to his dead wife and unborn child.

Angrily, he walks out of the room with a raged yet deep bitter face as he storms the royal garden to have a time alone.
