Found him a surrogate

"So...what's my reward...come on Vic I found you the perfect surrogate"

Victor didn't know what to say or react to as he walked around his office arranging files delivered by his secretary. He needed to work before 1 AM, hence he ignored Justin's words when he took almost a month to find him a surrogate. They were running out of time and most of all he was getting impatient. Victor needed a surrogate desperately so and he was willing to do anything or pay any amount of money to a woman who would fit his ideal time part surrogate. He knew finding a woman with a clean background was not an easy task, he could as well as call it an impossible mission and he didn't mean their family background no, he wasn't interested in such things but as long as she was a virgin and someone with no emotional issues then that was it

 Victor put a lot of pressure on his cousin, Justin, to find a proper surrogate, or his head was chopped off. He was a doctor hence Victor gave him a task. And he knew the rules he put on Justin were harsh but all he wanted was a surrogate he trusted

"Come on Vic...don't worry I'll give her a check-up...run some tests then in two days this will be done, "Justin said, this time he lowered his tone more like he wanted to comfort Victor but he didn't react because his words were just empty. No amount of consolation would be able to fill the hole in his heart and he knew any better than to touch a sensitive subject when all Victor wanted was to be alone. The reason he was entertaining people around him was that he had work, Victor had something to live for and that was making sure his wife's child was born. Yes she wasn't there to see this happen but Victor promised her he'd fulfill both their wishes one way or the other and he didn't want to delay any longer

"Do this tomorrow...I don't care how but I want this done tomorrow"Victor spoke in a low voice for the first time as he turned to the bookshelf taking a few books down, not sure why. he was a little agitated and anxious. For weeks all he could think of was having his little one in his life. He didn't care about anything as long as he had something which was hers. She was everything to him, the woman who completed him and brought colors to his world but Justin understand the pain his cousin was going through, it was heartbreaking and his heart was bleeding, Justin didn't want his cousin to feel this way hence he smiled and laughed to brighten up the tension in the room
Victor knew he was being a little paranoid and rushing the process but he had everything he needed. It wasn't like the surrogate had to use her egg to make the baby. Victor had his wife's egg hence with his seed, the surrogate was just going to be a vessel with no so-called relation to his child because the woman he love was the one who would forever be the mother of his child. That was important to him and he didn't want anything to go wrong.

"Vic, just relax, okay...we have time...my team and I already made arrangements...you don't need to push yourself so much" Justin responded after a good amount of time, this time he sounded more serious than a professional but he was aware how crucial this was for me. It was the last hope he had to cherish something so precious and if anything we not wrong then all of them involved would pay with their lives

"Well aside from that...where were you that night...I wanted to ask you that other day but I was occupied so now tell me..where did you spend the night"Justin added before Victor could say something to get rid of him, he had no right to question what he does hence Victor walked to his chair pushed it back and sat down without sparing his cousin a single glance

"Come on tell me...Beverly tried calling you but you didn't answer. I came here in the middle of the night but you boss man didn't show up...isn't it weird" he spoke up, making Victor even angrier as his hand clenched tightly, feeling anger boiling inside of him. he hated being questioned and if Justin went on prying in his private affairs then he was as good as dead.

"It's best if you think about your job...remember you only have a year to impress me if you want your inheritance" that was his weapon of shutting him up and getting him back on track and Victor's threat worked wonders because looking up at him, Justin had a frown on his  if he wanted to say anything but was failing to and Victor liked it that way, being in control

"Fine Bro...it seems you won't talk...but have you seen her...your surrogate...damn she's pretty...like a little doll...it's rare to see such gems...do you think she lied about being you know...a virgin and single?"

"Get out!"Victor growled out for him to leave immediately, he didn't care about anyone let alone a mere surrogate he picked from the streets and looking up at Justin, his death glare was enough to get him to leave as fast as his legs could carry him and once Justin was out of my study room, victor exhaled leaning his head back to the chair as he picked up a photo frame from the shelf located just below his table. His wife, he was willing to do anything to have her back in his life but how when life took her away from him and thinking about that his eyes shifted to the whisky on the table and he knew he needed just one drink hence he didn't wait as he rose to his feet took a few steps and grabbed the only friend he had.
