Everything about her

"What do you mean she left?''Victor was surprised to hear that his surrogate was not anywhere around the resort. He asked her to wait for him but it seemed she left the place without his consent. 

"S...sir...she said she was bored...so I let her go" the man he left in charge of watching his surrogate said nervously and Victor had the urge to kick him away. The anger he felt was something he couldn't control that the man dropped to his knees as he begged with his hands folded. He kept his head lowered until it connected with the tiled floor and Victor was even angrier as he stormed away from there

He was sure his surrogate was having fun spending more than he asked her to. Not like he cared what she did with his money but she had the guts to leave when he asked her to stay and wait for him. 
Who knew where she was, earlier he saw something he didn't know was real but seeing how Leo was asking constantly about his so-called surrogate. He just wanted to kill them both even when he had no idea if his surrogate knew Leo

"Sir...the office?'' his driver asked with a low bow as soon as he walked back to the parking area but Victor was too angry to listen or respond as he grabbed the keys to his car, entered the driver's seat, and drove away from there like a mad man. 
His driver was left in suspense as he watched his boss's car disappear out of sight and he wondered what happened for his boss to get so angry. He was aware how his boss was good at keeping his anger or any other emotions in check but now for the first time, he saw him show anger.


Meanwhile, Vivienne was smiling nonstop as she chose what she thought was good. The manager he dragged along with her was nervous, not sure what to do with the lady. He was supposed to be working but the lady dragged him with her to various shops and she was buying things like a crazy person

"Madam are you sure about this"I heard the manager ask me and I paused what I was doing and looked at him with narrowed eyes

"Yes...you can go if you want"I simply said and returned my attention to my work. I was happy that I just wanted to dive into whatever I was doing and the shopkeeper was stunned as he helped me carry the things back to the car. 
My driver didn't say anything but followed me everywhere I went without question. I was more than excited as I looked at the note I had in my hands. I had to hold around the city buying all that was written on it and thinking about it. I was so happy that people were staring at me like I was crazy and I shrugged as I continued my journey knowing little things made me happy. 
But I think I failed to understand why Victor entrusted me with his wallet which had a lot of money in it, not just that but there was a platinum card there. Not sure why but decided to use it carefully and cautiously.

It was nearly 6 PM and Victor was done with his work at the office. After leaving the resort upset and the reason was unknown to him. He thought getting back to the mansion he would find his surrogate back from her adventure unfortunately he was even more confused to find that she wasn't back yet

Did his wallet give her so much excitement that she went missing the entire day

"Come on...why are you so upset..tell me how come you made my girlfriend your Surrogate, "Leo remarked as he walked around Victor's study. He was irritated at how the girl he found amusing turned out to be his best friend's Surrogate. He couldn't believe it as he continued to pace around running his hands in his hair. Victor didn't seem bothered about Leo who was inferior to him

"She owes me...she owes me herself...am I even making sense?"Leo was agitated that walking or pacing seemed to be irritating him even more. 

"Keep your hands to yourself...if you want to keep living"Victor warned as he looked up at Leo and Leo was shocked as he stopped pacing and looked over his shoulder at Victor then fully turned around to face his best friend as if what he said made no sense. Victor leaned back to his chair and looked at Leo.

"Vic...how can you do this to me...have you seen her...I want her as my next model"Leo whined and pulled out a chair and sat down but then again he rose to his feet as if the chair was hot. Victor was serious that even his expression showed it all. Leo was angry but he had to talk to the little troublemaker and remind her what she promised him

"She stole from me okay...that little fairy helped me and charged me for it"Leo finally blurted out as if he was frustrated keeping things in his heart and Victor was alerted as he looked at Leo with a serious straight expression. He was caught off guard with the words that Leo knew Victor would let his surrogate go

"She steals from everyone...go and rest that's an order"Victor simply said without care and Leo was shocked that he looked at Victor with disdain and stormed out of the study with a heavy heart. He was going to rest after a long day to top it up he had just come back to London after his long trip around the world

"She's more than a troublemaker"Victor muttered with narrowed eyes as if thinking just as his phone vibrated and he picked it up

"Good...tell her to come," Victor said as soon as he answered. His facial expressions changed drastically as he disconnected the car and put his phone down. His eyes fixed on the door as he waited for the little runaway surrogate to enter his study and tell him a little story

The door creaked open as the knob turned and the door opened. Like there in the night his little surrogate walked in looking all nervous. Victor was surprised to see her smiling as she closed the door 

"Hey sir," she said and Victor was stunned. She went missing for a few hours, he wasn't worried because she took the driver with her but the smile was something he failed to understand. Did she have a blast wasting his money? He was curious as he leaned back to his chair and crossed his legs gracefully and pointed at the chair for her to sit but his Surrogate just shook his head and dug in her purse

Victor watched her with vivid eyes as she took out his wallet and knew she didn't forget. 

"I'm sorry sir...I went overboard...your wallet is so tempting" she said leaving Victor helpless as he narrowed his eyes and watched as she carefully set his wallet on the desk and shoved it close to him. He didn't bother to get it outwaited 

"Actually...I found this in the file...I guessed you didn't have time to get all this...so I decided to help you...hope you don't mind" his surrogate added as she took it, a folded white paper ripped from a notepad. His eyes turned to the little thing she put on the desk then hesitated before he leaned forward and took it. His eyes were glued to his surrogate wondering what she went to do the entire time she was gone

"Please...don't be upset...I thought of giving him his little home...I saw you wrote everything he needed that's why I took up the opportunity and bought everything you wanted" his surrogate continued to say whatever she had in mind. Victor didn't dare look up as he kept his eyes on the little note in his hands. He knew who wrote whatever was words on the note

"The room next to the gym is empty...I think it will be a good setup for it...I saw that it's hurt so if you can allow me. I'll look after it so it can get better" she didn't end there, she went ahead and told him whatever she had in mind about making a little playroom for a dog. Victor's heart clenched as he tried, by all means, to keep calm. 
This wasn't what he expected from her. He was told by the manager that his surrogate didn't buy anything for herself from the money she took from him. Even the ouch she ordered from the resort she paid using her own money and now standing before him she was telling him a that she and planned for a dog

"It's just a dog Ms. Payton...why go through so much trouble? Victor said after a while of listening to her. He was about to crack and hearing her made it even worse as he lifted his head and looked at her coldly. She seemed clueless to his change of behavior and expression

"I know sir but I like the puppy...it's defenseless and cute...please let me take care of it," his surrogate said as she moved even close to his desk that Victor was cracking slowly

"Get out please" victor mumbled as he folded the note tightly in his hand, he couldn't take it anymore as he kept his head down surprising his surrogate

"Sir I…"

"Get out now" he made a growl which startled her and he could feel her uneasiness, but he had to shout so she left him alone and like he knew he wasn't in the mood, Victor heard footsteps and the closing of the door and he knew she left. 

"You sound just like her... everything about you is her"Victor murmured as he looked up. His eyes were closed as he threw his head back and leaned to his chair. A loud exhale left his throat feeling his chest tightening. He wanted the sharp pain to go away but with each day it increased even more and every little thing reminded him of his love.
