Chapter41
"Okay. Right there. Keep the balloons here Aadi." Janani said as Aditya and Aadesh busied
themselves in decorating the living room.
It was Advaith Verma's first birthday and Janani wanted to celebrate it.
"It would have been even easier if we hired an event planner," Armaan grumbled as he
pumped air into the balloons.
Janani placed her hands on her hips and turned to glare at her husband.
"And miss all the fun we are having now?" Janani asked
"Of course you are having fun ordering around the three of us. We are the ones actually
doing the work" Armaan said earning a ferocious glare from his wife.
"Well, for once, I agree with Armaan jeeju" Aaditya supported his brother in law
"Fine. You guys go and do whatever it is you wanna do. I will manage all the work here. After
all, nobody loves my son as much as I do" Janani said dramatically.
Armaan scowled.
"Quit with the dramatics sis. We will manage here better, if you stop making a fuss about
everything. Honestly, we could do without it" Aditya said, making Janani pout.
"Bhabhi, what he meant is that we three are enough for the decorations. You should check
on the cake and cup cakes. Why waste the time?" Aadesh, the ever loving devar said with a
sweet smile.
Janani smiled
"Only you love me, Aadesh." Janani said and shot a glare at her husband and brother,
before turning around and leaving.
"Excuse me!" Armaan scowled while listening to that.
"Stop that Maan. You aren't scaring anybody with that scowl anymore. Even the house helps
now knows what a softie you are at heart. With Janani's arrival, your tough guy reputation
took a nosedive" Aadesh said with a smirk and Aditya snickered listening to that.
"Shut up and do your work" Armaan snapped
"Okay. The bouncing Castle is all set. Man! I never knew organising a kid's party is this
difficult" Inder said, coming towards them, wiping off his sweat.
"I know right. Ava's birthday comes two months later. Imagine doing this all over again"
Armaan said with a groan.
"Goodness. When is Aarav's birthday?" Inder asked himself, earning a wack from Ananya
who also came with him after helping him set up the bouncing Castle.
"Stop complaining and help them with the decorations. I will go help Janani" Ananya said
and walked away.
Soon the decorations were all done.
"Okay. Let's start an event management company. We have become experts in this" Aditya
said grinning, looking and admiring their own work.
"Inder. Did you arrange for all the kids from kiddokidz to be brought here?" Armaan asked
"Yes. I personally talk to all the parents. Don't worry. Everything is under control." Inder said
"Aadi? What about the kids from the nursery where Janani worked in your hometown?"
Armaan asked
"All set, Armaan jeeju. Papa will bring them along when they come today" Aditya said
The birthday party, though grand, is a low key affair with just the families involved. Bringing
in the kids from both the nursery is a surprise, more for Janani than Advaith.
"Lemme go and check if the cake is ready" Armaan said
"Just say that you wanna see Janani bhabhi. There is no need to say silly excuses" Aadesh
teased. Armaan flipped him the bird and walked away, leaving the other laughing.
"Okay. You two carry on" Inder said and stood up from his chair
"He isn't even coming up with an excuse. Simply getting up and going to see Ananya di"
Aditya said teasingly, earning a wack from Inder.
As Inder too left, Aditya turned to Aadesh.
"When are you going to leave me alone?" Aditya asked
"What?" Aadesh frowned in confusion
"Shreya di will be coming for the party right?" Aaditya asked teasingly
Aadesh smiled.
"Yes. She will call when she reaches. I will have to go pick her up. You better find some
suitable girl for yourself. Don't be a kabab mein haddi in our lives" Aadesh said, making
Aditya pout.

As everyone gathered around the cake, Advi was more fascinated by the many balloons
around.
He was reaching out to grab the balloons and the elders were trying to divert his attention to
the cake.
"Mama apple" One year old Advi said pointing at the red balloon.
Anything red and round was apple for little Advi.
"Advi, baby. Look here" Janani said, trying to turn him around towards the cake.
But there was no way Advi would turn around from the balloons.
He was looking cute like a button in his white round neck tee shirt and shorts, with a red
kitten on the front of the tee shirt.
He was made to wear a conical hat on his head too.
"Bhabhi. I know how to grab his attention" Aadesh said smugly and took his phone out.
He played the famous bollywood item number 'paramasundari' on his phone, effectively
grabbing Advi's attention from the phone.
Aadesh stood in front of the cake, with the song playing on the phone. So they were able to
take enough pictures of a smiling Advi in front of the cake.
Janani was throwing glares at Aadesh in between.
She simply couldn't believe that her one year old son was staring at Kriti Sanon's belly with
rapt attention.
Aadesh and Aditya are spoiling little Advi. Instead of watching cartoons, nowadays he loves
to listen to fast music.
"The baby is so cute. Can I take him home?" Drishti, Ava's new best friend asked, looking at
the baby in awe.
"That's our baby" Ava said with a frown
"Hmmmph. You can keep your baby. I will ask mom to buy us a new baby from the new mall"
Drishti said, with her nose up in the sky.
"Silly. Babies cannot be bought from the malls" Ava said with a laugh, making Drishti frown
"Where did you buy this baby from then?" Drishti asked curiously
"I don't know. But I think they bought him from Uncle Inder's hospital" Ava said
"Who is Uncle Inder?" Drishti asked and Ava pointed at Inder who was standing next to
Armaan.
"Aarav's father?" Drishti asked and without waiting another second, rushed up to Inder.
"Uncle Inder?" Drishti called out
"Yes" Inder smiled at the little girl whom he have seen many times at the nursery.
"Can I also have a baby, Uncle? We don't have a baby at home" Drishti asked and Armaan
choked on his drink as he heard that.
"What?" Inder asked in shock.
"Ava said they bought little Advi from your hospital. Do you have a new baby for us to buy?"
Drishti asked and both the men burst out laughing.
Drishti who didn't like being laughed at stomped her foot and glared at the two grown men.
"I will get the baby myself" she said and ran away.
"That is one stubborn girl. Ananya talks about her a lot. She is the most naughty and
stubborn one in the nursery. I wouldn't be surprised if she somehow convince her parents to
buy a baby from somewhere" Inder said dryly.
