Chapter 11

After they had breakfast, Earl and Nellie set off for the forest to look for the leaves that they could use to make the medicine to save ma'am Dodda.

Going on her own won't be a problem before but after what the rogues did to her, Nellie was really scared to embark on the journey herself. She kept feeling like she was going to run into one of them..

She and Earl went with some guards to look for the leave. The guards made Nellie feel all the more reassured.

Earl watched as Nellie picked up the leaves that she was going to use. He found it really fascinating when he watched her trying so hard to save ma'am Dodda.

"Why are you trying so hard to save ma'am Dodda anyway? Yes, she got hurt because of you but it's not entirely your fault. I am the one who made the decision to save you" Earl said. Even though he cared about ma'am Dodda a lot, he just did not get why she cared so much about him.



Nellie turned to look at Earl. Earl could swear that he saw some sadness in her eyes when she looked at him. However it was gone as soon as it came!



"I am the reason why ma'am Dodda is in such a situation. She got stabbed because of me. Just because it's your decision to save me doesn't mean that i can shrink the responsibility for this. Don't worry! I'll make sure to save ma'am Dodda!" Nellie said. She had already found the leaves that she was looking for so she was feeling really confident right now. She was sure that she would be able to save her.



Earl looked at him for a few more seconds before he turned his eyes away. He could feel something changing in his heart, although he did not want to think about it.



His mind could not help but go back to Ina. Even though he gave Ina all of his love , she did not treat him or the people around him this well.



Ina!! He was all the more resolved to take revenge on this woman when he thought about her now.

Nellie and Earl went back to the castle after she was done picking out the leaves. The healer, Astrid watched as Nellie made the medicine from the leaves she had a sneer on her face. She did not believe that this young girl in front of her would be able to save ma'am Dodda with this. She was sure that she would fail. Her biggest fear was that what she is doing will make ma'am Dodda's condition worse..

Astrid looked over to Earl. She thought that he would be the one to oppose what Nellie was doing right now since he is the one who cares about ma'am Dodda the most. But not only did he not try to stop her, he's even helping her! He went with her to the forest to look for the leaves just because she was scared!



How good can a person who is scared be?



Astrid walked over to Earl's side. "Your highness, are you really going to continue with this?.are you going to let her do whatever she wants? If this doesn't help then ma'am Dodda's condition will only get even more worse!" Astrid said..



Earl's cold eyes landed on Astrid. She could not help but shiver when she saw how cold his eyes were.

"Astrid, since when did you start to doubt my decisions?" Earl asked.

Astrid immediately bowed her head. "No! I don't dare to do that, your highness!" She immediately said,

"Since you don't dare, stop doubting my decisions! She is going to save ma'am Dodda! You just need to wait!" Earl said. For some reason that he could not explain, he had great confidence in Nellie. He believed that she would be able to save ma'am Dodda.

Astrid bowed her head and walked a few steps away from Earl. Since the leader had already spoken, she will watch and see what happens! She just hoped that he doesn't end up regretting this decision of his!

Nellie was finally done with the medicines. She raised her head up.

Then she carried the bowl over to ma'am Dodda. She poured it into ma'am Dodda's mouth. "I just have to give this to Ma'am Dodda and she will be fine soon !" Nellie said cheerfully.

Earl had faith in Nellie while the healer was looking at her with disdain. She will see how she will be able to get out of this once this ma'am Dodda gets even worse!

Earl walked back to his room, accompanied by the guards. Charlie was waiting for him at the entrance of his room when he got there.

He waved his hands at the guards. "You guys can leave now. Charlie,..come in with me" Earl said and entered the room.

The guards bowed and walked away from his room. Charlie asked Earl into the room .

He bowed his head in front of Earl. "Your highness, do you really trust Nellie this much?" He asked. He was handing over ma'am Dodda's life to Nellie. Ma'am Dodda is the person that he cares about the most.

How much does he trust Nellie to allow her to treat ma'am Dodda?

"Just forget it Charlie. I'm sure that she will be able to do it. She said that she is quite good…I want to see how good she is" Earl said.

Charlie still wasn't convinced. "But this doesn't mean that we can just hand over ma'am Dodda's life to her! What if she's just bluffing and there is nothing that she can do to help?" Charlie asked. Charlie's worries weren't unfounded. Even though Nellie said that she can cure ma'am Dodda, those are all her words. They don't know anything about her. What if she's really not up to the job? Ma'am Dodda will be the one to suffer then.

Earl raised his hand, stopping Charlie from talking. "Right now, Ma'am Dodda is in a critical situation and there is nothing that even the healer can do for her. If Nellie wants to try, then she should try. I really don't care, as long as ma'am Dodda can be saved!" Earl said powerfully. His words left no room for further argument

Ina and Tony were lying in bed together. The both of them had just finished having sex.

"I can't believe that Earl escaped from the rouge that we sent!" Tony said. He was so pissed off. He felt that he finally had Mike in his trap. He was sure that there was no way that he would be able to escape from him!

However, he still managed to escape.

Ina placed her hands around Tony. "There is no need for you to get angry about this! I'm sure that we will be able to get him again! We just need to make our plans carefully this time. He won't be so lucky again! He will definitely fall into our hands!" Ina said loathfully. She was upset too that Earl got away from them. But there is nothing that she can do now. The both of them just need to make plans again.

"Oh yeah? You think that it will be easy to get him out of the castle again? Ever since the incident, Charlie had reinforced the guards around Earl. There is no way that anyone can get into the castle now.! All the people that I sent out to spy could not get anything meaningful !" Tony said. He was really feeling pissed.. Why is Earl so lucky? How did he manage to escape from him?


"I'm sure that we are going to get another chance Tony! Don't stress over it!" Ina said.

"Of course. We are going to get another chance! I won't stop until I get rid of that man!" Tony swore.

Ina smiled. She didn't have much feelings for Earl anyway . She wanted Tony to win over him. She wanted Tony to take over the entire pack and rule in place of Earl!

"I heard that Earl saved a female wolf and brought her back to the castle," Tony said.

"What?!" Ina was instantly alarmed? A female wolf? How can Earl save her? Earl had never cared about any other woman apart from herself!

There was a twisted expression of jealousy on Ina's face.

Tony saw the look on Ina's face and sneered. "Yes he saved her and brought her back to the castle. Even ma'am Dodda got hurt because of her! Ma'am Dodda is still unconscious right now!" Tony said.

Ina didn't care about ma'am Dodda. In fact, she would feel relieved if that old woman just dropped dead at any time.

Ma'am Dodda has always hated her. She has always been looking for ways to separate her and Earl before.

But…how can Earl have another wolf in the castle? Is he going to make her his Luna?

"How is this possible? Why did Earl save her?" Ina asked.

"What? Are you jealous?" Earl asked Ina.

Ina immediately smiled. "Of course not! You are the person that I love! I don't care about what Ear does!" Ina said.

Even though Ina said this, her heart was still unsettled. Earl has always loved her, how can he choose a new Luna so soon?

She has to get to the bottom of this!

Two weeks later.


Nellie was strolling round the grounds of the castle. After living here for two weeks, she was already used to the layout of the castle and she won't get lost so easily like the first time..

She had been giving ma'am Dodda the medicine everyday. But she still wasn't awake yet.

She knew that the healer did not believe her and that she only thought that she was going to make ma'am Dodda's condition worse.

Nellie wasn't worried about that though. She was sure that everyone would see that she was right once ma'am Dodda woke up.

Nellie was about to return to her room when she heard some maids talking.

"Did you hear ? Ma'am Dodda is awake!" One of the maids said.

"What? Ma'am Dodda is awake? Didn't the healer say that ma'am Dodda has lost a lot of blood and that it won't be easy for her to wake up ?" The other maid questioned.

"No! That wolf the leader brought back, Nellie, said that she was going to save ma'am Dodda! She even went to the forest with the leader. She said that she was going to look for the leaves that were going to cure ma'am Dodda. Everyone thought that she was just joking. Even the healer did not believe her! But ma'am Dodda actually woke up! It seems there she really has some skills!" The other maid said.
Everyone had looked down on Nellie when she said that she was going to cure ma'am Dodda. Even when she gave ma'am Dodda the medicine, they all thought she was actually making her situation worse!

Who knew that ma'am Dodda was going to wake up weeks later?

"What are you people talking about? Ma'am Dodda is awake?" Nellie suddenly asked. The maids did not know that she was listening to the conversation so they were stunned when they saw her. They felt bad since they were talking about her.

They looked away and tried to walk away from Nellie but Nellie stopped them..
"Where are you guys going? You don't have to be afraid. I only want to know if ma'am Dodda is awake " Nellie asked.

Why are they scared of her?


"I only heard it from the maid who is taking care of ma'am Dodda milady! She said that ma'am Dodda is finally awake!" The maid reported.

Nellie did not say anything else to them. She immediately turned and headed to ma'am Dodda's room.

Ma'am Dodaa is finally awake! This is great! At long last she was able to pull through!

Nellie would not have been able to forgive herself it anything happened to ma'am Dodda because of her
