Chapter 10

Sebastian and Richard were amazed by the way Lucien led the game from the start, he didn't let his opponent get too far and although they tried to stay calm, the looks on their faces made it clear that they were panicking.

"Yeah..." The old man cheered with joy when he won the 10 million dollar bet.

In less than 20 minutes, Lucien made an old man earn 10 million dollars. The other four jockeys were silent, so far they were quite calculated, but suddenly they failed in a relatively short time.

Sebastian and Richard were impressed, Lucien just did his first assignment, but he can do it really well.

"Damn it...! You guys suck, you bastards...!" One of the middle-aged men who was annoyed at his defeat kept swearing in annoyance. He pushed the woman sitting on his lap down to the floor and kicked a nearby table.

"Let's go, we're done here!" Lucien said as he got up from his place and walked away. While Sebastian and Richard just kept silent and followed him.

"Hey, young man! Wait a minute! You have to play for me again...!" The old man tried to prevent him from going and leaving the room. He was enjoying his victory too much to make him not want to miss this rare opportunity.

Lucien paused and turned to the man with his cold, sharp gaze. The old man stopped whining and fell silent awkwardly.

"Looks like you only pay one game profit. No extra time unless you have made an appointment from the start!" he said.

"But that-"

"Hey Levi, I don't think it's a problem if you play for him one more time. We don't have any plans after this-"

"No! That's not necessary. I hate opponents who lose too quickly and become boring. Playing with the same people will only yield the same results! Better save their money and effort for something else!"

"Tch, you're so arrogant, you bastard...!" One of his opponents who had lost was upset that he wouldn't get the rest of the deal because he couldn't get his client to win."

The man growled in annoyance and rushed at Lucien and almost attacked him. Realizing this, Sebastian hastily stopped the pia before Lucien was provoked into fighting him. They knew that Lucien was still too new to his powers and maybe he couldn't control them yet.

"Damn...!" The man grew even more irritated when Lucien remained calm as if nothing was bothering him.

Lucien shot him an indifferent glance and then walked away gallantly and confidently. All eyes were on him, his charisma so strong it was hard to ignore. After making sure that the man did not continue his attack. Sebastian and Richard went after Levi.

"Hey Levi! Why don't you want to accept the man's offer? We can force him to place a higher bet?"

"I don't want to play with people I have beaten. I need a strong opponent."

Ruby sat at the restaurant table that Victor had ordered for them both. Meanwhile Victor was seen chatting with the butler. Ruby knew that Victor had prepared something for her.

"You waited long?" Asked Victor while kissing Ruby's hand tenderly.

"No! How about the pearl necklace I'm wearing? Is it pretty?"

"You always look beautiful, my dear! I'm glad you like it? I'll buy you a better necklace than that!"

"I've had enough of this necklace, honey? You don't need to buy anything else!"

"Who said I can't give you something? Listen, I'll give everything for you, my empress!"

The sweet and romantic words that Victor said made women so easily fall asleep. He is very good at seducing women and it's clear that Ruby drives him crazy.

"Lucien never gave me expensive jewelery like this!"

"Really? Lucky never spoils you with expensive gifts?"

"Yeah, the salary in the workshop isn't that big so sometimes we have to save money."
