Chapter 28
Jonathan giggled at the look on Sebastian's face, who kept looking at him with a sinister look as if he were a disgusting piece of trash. He realized that Sebastian already knew about the plan he, Jayden, Erwin and Paul talked about last night.
They deliberately made him listen to their plan because it would be easier for them to prepare the real plan.
"I didn't know there was anything funny here. You seem too drunk to stop laughing, Jo!" Sebastian said calmly. He actually didn't feel disturbed by Jonathan's laughter because acting stupid was a characteristic that was inherent in him.
"Haven't you had an important job lately that made you have to keep following Lucien like a weak chick? I really miss Sebastian, the genius of team five. Since becoming friends with Lucien, you look like an idiot."
"I don't have to be smart all the time, do I? Especially in front of a clown like you. Playing dumb is the only way to appreciate your efforts."
"Tch, damn it. You bastard! Do you feel like you have the upper hand now that you've become Lucien's servant? Hahaha...you idiot, did you think he'd be the alpha in Claude's place? Don't dream, Sebastian! That bastard is just doing something What a waste. He's only been living as a demi demon for five months, how can a rookie werewolf like him lead a large herd?"
"Unfortunately the fledgling werewolf as you call him was destined to be the leader of the pack from the start. Not the black tiger should be a solitary being."
"So you're saying that Jayden isn't fit to be alpha?"
"It's not unworthy, it's just that he doesn't have the ability to lead. You accept it or not, Lucien is the only one who has the ability to lead the herd. He can even do it better than Claude."
Tsk, hahaha...don't make me laugh, Sebastian! Do you think I can accept your overly forced argument? ideal for you? You really are out of your mind!" Jonathan laughed out loud, he couldn't see Lucien's ability because he hated him from the start.
"It's useless for me to explain it to you because you certainly won't see the advantage because of your hatred from the start. So, I don't care. I'm just warning you not to have to develop stupid plans because in the end we all know who the winner is." Sebastian walked away after giving a warning which he hoped would open Jonathan's eyes a bit so he didn't have to do anything beyond his limits.
Jonathan felt even more annoyed, because from the start he had realized that Lucien was far superior and since his arrival, everything seemed to change. One by one everyone fell into his hands as if he was destined to be a leader.
"Damn it, I'm not going to let him become the next alpha. I'm going to do whatever it takes to stop him!"

Lucien looked at his cellphone screen, he realized that he was already in the same location where Reymond Osvaldo was hiding with all of Claude's possessions that he had managed to control.
A luxurious mansion in the middle of a famous elite residential area, it seems that he is brave enough to live in the same neighborhood with important people who might be opposite him.
"He's here, that person must be here." He was very sure that he could find Reymond Osvaldo, a big-class conman who was a member of a legendary Mexican cartel.
He must be very protected, therefore, even though it has been almost eight years since Claude died, the police still haven't caught him even though strong evidence has pointed towards him.
This was no longer Las Vegas or Sacramento, it seemed Reymond had access to places without fear. He did not understand how someone could become so impunity even though he had committed a very heinous crime.
"It's not fair! It's so unfair for you, Claude." Lucien muttered. He began to sympathize with what happened to Claude. Since he knew how bad Claude's past was, he had more respect for him. Although that still doesn't rule out the possibility that he still wants to replace Claude as soon as possible.
"I just want him to get his revenge soon."
Lucien decided to end the hours of waiting he had been doing and stepped out of the car to check out the luxurious mansion which looked very quiet. But as he stepped towards the gate of the mansion, he saw an old woman limping with a frail body and very dirty, shabby clothes.
The woman's body trembled as if she was trying to endure the extremely cold air without proper warm clothes. Only a dirty brown robe that covered his body.
"Reymond...! Not the door...! Let me in...!" The woman suddenly shouted in a hoarse and hoarse voice as if she was using up what strength she had left.
There wasn't a single person in this place, everyone seemed to prefer to warm their bodies inside the house instead of having to roam the cold and snow-covered streets.
Lucien froze in front of his car, looking at the poor woman who started gripping the cold fence post with her dry, pale hands. He decided to stay here and watch, rather than asking or trying to help her.
He realizes that his soul is no longer the same, the sympathy he used to have is fading. There is no longer a desire to help others, let alone get involved in problems that are not his business. Right, it's better this way, he thought. There was nothing for him to worry about because whatever he would do would not change the fact that he would end up in hell.
"Reymond... let me in...! Give me back my house...! Give me back my house, Reymond...!"
The woman continued to scream even though no one was listening to her screams. His body was getting weaker, he began to fall and sat on the cold ground.
She was sobbing, her poor cry making Lucien even more unable to ignore her. He decided to approach the woman and take her to a warmer place.
"Is there anything I can help you with, madam?" He says, offering help before being asked. The woman raised her head and looked at Lucien who was standing in front of her while reaching out to help her up.
"W-who are you?" asked the woman in a weak and low voice.
"I-"
Before Lucien could even answer the woman's question, the woman's grasp on his hand made him see something that surprised him.
It's as if he was taken to a sad incident that happened to a woman, where she conspired with her lover to kill her husband so that she was forced to hand over all of her husband's possessions to her new lover, who was a cartel member who was known to be very cruel. The threats he received forced him to give up everything he had so that his life had to end as a homeless homeless person, neglected by his three children who hated him so much.
"Louise?" The name just came out of his mouth. Mrs Louise Higher, wife of Jeremy Roland Higher. This beautiful woman with a socialite lifestyle is now a poor homeless woman and looks much older than her age.
The woman was amazed when she heard her name called. It's been a long time since someone called him by that name. Since three years ago, where his life actually ended tragically and there was nothing left for him now.
"W-who are you? H-how could you-" as if unable to believe that someone knew her. He felt scared and immediately ran away from Lucien.
Lucien caught up with her easily, and even then she didn't seem to have enough strength to run. He fell down with a gasp. Lucien stood in front of her quietly, looking at her with cold eyes and a straight face.
The woman was increasingly frightened, she did not recognize this young man, she felt she had never met before. But why could this young man know his name when everyone he knew couldn't even recognize his current condition.
"Please sir. Don't hurt me! I don't have anything else right now, please don't hurt me!" He begged while crying sobbing, begging for mercy.
Lucien held out his hand once more, hoping this time the woman would get his point across.
"Come with me! I won't hurt you. I'll take you somewhere warm."
