Chapter 13

"Where are you going?" she asked. He didn't think that what he had done would burden Lucien. He was angry and it was clear from the look on his face, as if he would kill anyone who tried to talk about his wife's betrayal.

Lucien chose not to respond to Sofia's question anymore and walked down the corridor. He wanted to rest alone in his room. But as he climbed the stairs to the third floor, he ran into Jayden, the commander who had shown his distaste since he first came to this place.

"Jayden glanced at him with a cold and hateful face. But Lucien didn't care, he wanted to stop caring about anyone right now so he could focus on his goal of eliminating and killing Victor.

Lucien walked right past Jayden without even greeting him. He put on a straight face without the respect that Supernova Revenge members usually show him.

"Tch, damn bastard. You're overconfident just because you have that symbol on your body?" Jayden cursed in annoyance and was clearly heard by Lucien.

Lucien stopped walking, he really didn't want anything to do with anyone here including Jayden. He didn't care how strong this man was or what kind of monster he was.

"Hey, man! Can't you show me some respect? Who do you think you are?" Jayden started acting arrogantly. Even though he wasn't really the snobby leader, for some reason he really wanted to challenge Lucien to a fight just to see the power of the constant symbol.

Lucien glanced at her for a moment with a cold gaze that showed that he didn't care about anyone and anything. That made Jayden feel even angrier as it was clear that Lucien was challenging him instead.

"Tch, damn it...! You bastard...!" Jayden who couldn't hold back his emotions tried to attack Lucien and lunged towards him while trying to hit him.

Lucien who could read someone's movements for some reason had a hard time reading Jayden's movements which were extremely fast.

Bruuukkk...

A fist flew to Lucien's face, sending him off balance and tumbling down the steps. Those who heard the commotion rushed over to the injured Jayden and Lucien.

"Tch-" Lucien touched the corner of his bleeding lips. He didn't expect that Jayden could move that fast and he didn't even have a chance to dodge.

"Turns out that Konstantin's symbol was nothing more than a piece of crap! You're even weaker than Jonathan! How sad!" Jayden smiled wryly. He was satisfied because in the end he could bring Lucien to his knees and had nothing to be proud of.

"What's going on? Jayden, what's going on here?" Claude was furious when he realized that there was a commotion going on in his mansion.

"I'm sorry, Claude! But it seems you shouldn't focus your attention so much on this brat since it's clear he has nothing but pathetic willpower."

Lucien, who was kes, immediately acted, he who originally fell to the floor after Jayden punched him in the face, got up with a movement that was three times as fast as Jayden's and hit him with deep power.

Jayden, who didn't even realize that Lucien was returning his attack, was blown away until his back hit the wall with great force.

"Ugh...bastard...!" Realizing that he was being attacked, without further ado, Jayden launched his second attack again, but Lucien quickly blocked his attack to the point where he almost changed his form.

Everyone in this place was surprised to see two monsters with above average strength trying to attack each other.

"Stop...!"

Claude couldn't stand this situation, he immediately stopped them before they started killing each other and destroying this place. In contrast to Jayden who was able to control himself, Lucien was different, one trigger could make him go out of control immediately.

"Stop it, Lucien...! Control yourself...!" Claude held him by holding his shoulder which felt very hot.

The shape of Lucien's face and body almost changed, anger was clearly visible filling the atmosphere around him. He really could not control when the power appears and when to stop. But Claude's one touch holding her shoulder seemed to help her slowly calm down.

Everyone looked at him with shocked faces, they knew something was wrong with Lucien. The surroundings where he was fighting were ruined by the several attacks he and Jayden made. They believed this mansion would be destroyed if these two monsters continued to fight.

It wasn't until Lucien completely calmed down and returned to his full human form that Claude stopped holding his shoulders. The calm Claude always seems to know what he needs to do which is why he became the alpha.

"Are you feeling calmer, Lucien?" asked Claude. Lucien didn't answer right away, the anger in his heart had not completely dissipated. He didn't know why he could lose control like this. Even though some time ago when he was still living as an ordinary human, the only thing that made him unable to control his anger were the moments related to Ruby. Like when Victor almost abused Ruby, if Ruby hadn't stopped him at that time, he was sure that he would have killed Victor.
