Chapter 41: T For Trouble
Kyle's POV
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Tasha waltzed into the apartment as if she was the landlord.
She sat down on the couch and poured herself a glass of wine.
"Tasha, hold up. What the hell are you really doing here and how do you know where I live, did my sister tell you?" I was baffled.
"No, sweetie, I followed you."
"I saw you left the parking lot, Tasha."
"Nah, I pretended to be gone and then I followed you here."
"That's stalking."
"I really hate that word, Kyle," she said, narrowing her eyes as she sipped from the glass.
"And I really don't care. You need to leave. What is wrong with you, you can't just stalk someone on their way home from work, walk into their apartment, sit on their couch and start drinking wine, LaTasha!"
"Kyle, we're not strangers. You need to relax, have some wine and take the edge off. You've always been so uptight."
I heaved a long sigh. There was no getting through to her. It was basically talking to a brick wall which can respond back with some sass.
"You need to leave," I said.
"Okay. I'll leave," she answered. She stood up and walked pass me to the front door, then she turned to face me and started unbuttoning her top.
"What the hell are you doing?"
"Showing you what you're rejecting." She removed her top completely and was standing there with her bra on. Then she started running her hands over her cleavage area.
"You're insane."
She laughed at my words as if she didn't give a damn.
A knock came to the door and Tasha was quick to open it, revealing Zenobia. She held the door open, allowing Zenobia to enter into the apartment. Both women locked eyes on each other for a full minute until Zenobia turned to me.
Silence hung in the air and it felt like the world was on pause.
"Zen," I started. I didn't know what the fuck to say right there and then. We weren't in a relationship but I didn't want to say something stupid to her.
"Ohhhh, so this is Zenobia Hollen. I've heard a lot about you, niña," Tasha said and I wish I could have make her vanish into thin air.
Zenobia turned towards her. "And you are?"
"I'm friends with Kyle."
"No! No, you're not! You're friends with my sister!" I corrected.
"And he's my future husband and father of my children," she just had to input.
Zenobia lifted her eyebrows in surprise and looked at Tasha from her head to her toes.
"I don't like it when people stare me like that, what are you looking at, huh?" she asked aggressively to Zenobia.
"Nothing much," Zenobia answered.
"Girl, I will drag you all over this apartment, you don't want to mess with me!"
"No seas una perra tonta," Zenobia spoke fluently and I was marveled. Tasha became quiet, eyed her and then me. She reached for her top, put it on, huffed and puffed and left the apartment without another word.

"Thank goodness she's gone. I swear, she's crazy," I said feeling relieved. I headed towards the couch and sat down, patting the empty seat next to me. Zen was hesitant but eventually sat down next to me.
"I'm sorry about that," I apologized.
"Don't be. I'm sorry for popping up unexpectedly. Seemed like you two were about to get busy."
"No. Oh hell no," I quickly defended, "Look, Tasha is friends with my sister. We're not strangers but we're not friends either."
"So what was she doing here?"
"She followed me home from work."
"You work together?"
"I just found out this morning. She's the new receptionist."
"Yikes."
"I know right. She's a damn stalker and she's crazy. I'll have to tell my sister about this so that she can talk to her before this gets out of control."
Zenobia nodded in understanding.
"Again, nothing happened between me and her. She took her top off to perhaps seduce me but I'm not interested in her. Never have been, never will be."
"I understand."
"Cool."
"I came by to give you this," she said and reached for a small bag. She retrieved a small box from the inside and handed it to me.
I accepted and opened the box, revealing a brand new rolex. My eyes popped and my jaw dropped at the sight, until my senses knocked sense into me.
"Zen, thank you but I can't accept this. This is a rolex. This is worth three months of my salary."
"You can accept it. It's mainly to say thank you for all you've done for me. For going above and beyond. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to shower you with gifts or trying to gift my way back into your life. I just wanted you to have this."
"Why this though?"
"I was at the mall earlier today, saw it and thought about you." She took it out the box and placed it onto my wrist.
"I was right, it looks good on you," she said.
"Thank you, Zen. I appreciate this. I always wanted one."
"I know."
"Oh really, how so?"
"I saw the way you looked at my dad's and uncle's. You would look at your empty wrist and I even heard you telling yourself that you would get one one day. I was waiting until your birthday but.. you know... we're no longer a couple."
"Zen, you're an amazing woman. I never thought you paid attention to me like that."
"I do. Well, I'll leave you to enjoy your show. I have some things I need to get done for my dad." She stood up to leave and I stood up and walked her to the door.
"Have a good evening," she said and she turned to walk out but my hand reached for hers, stopping her in her path.
Gently, I pulled her into my chest and she didn't resist. I tilted her chin upwards, and parted her lips with my thumb. Her beautiful grey eyes stared up at me, illuminating my soul.
Slowly, I kissed her then it turned into a feverish passion as it deepened. My arms circled her waist and pulled her even closer and her soft moans sent waves of delight to my manhood.
I pinned her against the wall, her back towards me. From behind, my hand traveled up her legs as my lips were placed on her neck, kissing and sucking her. I reached her center and parted her smooth lips with my fingers before allowing one to enter, then another. Her moaning increased and she shivered against me as she became wet.
I picked her up and carried her into the bedroom. I removed her skirt then her panties and took her into my mouth. Her hands grip the sheets for dear life as she became wetter and wetter. I spread her apart even more and inserted two fingers into her. She twisted and held onto my head as her body shook yet again from the pleasuring.
Her excitement faded as she came down from her climax and I stopped.
"Are you ending it here?" she asked.
"We should."
She nodded, got dressed and we walked out of the apartment. I made sure she got into her car safely and drove away before going back into my apartment.
"You're still in love with her, ain't you, Kyle?" I asked myself.
I continued looking at the TV. Suddenly, my phone started ringing. Zenobia's name flashed on the screen.
"Hey," I answered.
"Kyle, I think someone is following me."
