Defending Her.

“Get into the car Crystal, we are leaving now!” Red ordered with his deep furious tone.
He was mad at Crystal’s aunt for trying to hit her because she felt no one was at home to stop her.
Crystal climbed into the car without thinking twice. He had already grabbed her hand and dragged her out of her aunt’s room.
She complained to Red about her aunt thinking that they were dating or had any relationship between them because of how he defended her but he didn’t listen to her.
She was more confused and frustrated at this point. She climbed into the car and had her gaze placed on down on her laps.
Tears had threatened to fall off her eye balls but she kept on holding them in. She didn’t want Red to see how soft she could be.
He immediately climbed into the car sitting down beside her. He paused for a while as he turned to look at the poor sweet angel sitting by his side.
Can’t believe that all this while, you’ve been going through a lot on your own. He thought to himself feeling bad .
He took in a deep breath and released a soft sigh. “Are you ok?” he asked like he was Crystal’s boyfriend.
“Hey!” he placed a finger on her head to make her return his question but she didn’t .
She was more comfortable staying quiet than saying a word to him. She was grateful that he had helped her out , but the thought of leaving the house to an unknown destination was something she couldn’t get out of her head.
Red seeing how she wanted to be left alone, he started the engine of his car and in no time, he zoomed off.
He was going to take her away from the Mansion where she wouldn’t have to think about her aunt bulling her anymore.
He drove for about an hour non stop. Crystal raised her head to know what was happening and know where she was but she couldn’t recall the environment.
She turned to look at Red who was more focused on his destination than she herself sitting close to him.
Will he kill me? Where are we heading to this time? She thought to herself .
“What is going through your mind dummy?” he asked with a serious look .
“Where… where are we going to?” she finally questioned him.
“That’s none of your business, just sit tight” he stated clearly as he drove the car.
It was more like Red being rude to her but for a reason, she felt comforted hearing him reply in such manner.
She heaved a sigh and had to focus on the highway. After all, he is her boss so she should trust him. She thought.
Red finally got to a building which it’s exterior decorations were far more better than that of the mansion.
“Where are we?” she asked Again and this time, she was pretty scared.
Red turned to look at her and halved a smile but refused to say a word to her.
He drove into the environment immediately the gates were opened automatically.
Crystal was quite speechless seeing where she was. It was obvious that only a rich billionaire could have a building just like the one she was seeing.
Her dad was rich but couldn’t afford to build such beautiful looking duplex .
“Get down” he ordered immediately he stopped the car. They had drove for about ten minutes before they got to the main parking lot.
The building was far from the gate and he wasn’t willing to stop at the gate side when he had his car with him.
“Yeah” Crystal stuttered as she opened the door . She was lost in her thoughts and didn’t know when he stopped the car.
She climbed out of the car and was really shocked at the view of her surroundings.
She kept on looking around like a lost sheep who would be devoured by lions sooner or later.
“Can we go in now?” Red said and immediately, he grabbed her hand again.
He had grabbed her hand before at the mansion and all she did was feel a speed in her heart beat rate and now he did it Again.
“I …. I can.. I can actually follow you from behind” she stuttered feeling timid as she pulled her hand off his grip.
Red stopped and turned to look at her, he was sure that there were negative thoughts running through her mind so he had to ignore it and focus on his main reason for bringing her to the house.
“Have a seat Crystal” He ushered pointing at the seat..
“I would rather stand sir” Crystal retorted with her gaze on the ground.
“Come on dummy, I promise nothing is gonna happen” he stated clearly.
Crystal was still feeling reluctant until she heard a female’s voice from the background.
“Hey sugar, didn’t know you would be coming to visit me today” A lady in red bra and white undies announced as she walked closer to where they were standing..
Crystal felt so disgusted immediately and ashamed of herself. She wished at that point that she didn’t follow Red to the house.
The lady’s name was Helen. She is Red’s side chick. Whenever he felt lonely or felt like running away from the mansion, he came over to meet her.
The duplex is owned by his dad but was gifted to him on his seventeenth birthday for doing well in school.
He got bored of the Mansion and decided to live in the duplex but not alone. Helen has been his closest girl friend from high school.
They had sex whenever he visited, they talked all night and trust me, Red never missed to help her out when needed.
He did all things she asked him for but when it came to the part of showing her his face without his mask, he resisted.
He would always tell her that she has no right to see his face because they were not married and it made her go crazy but she couldn’t break up with him because he was a Billionaire’s son.
She came closer to Red and glared at Crystal who was standing like a lost child.
She placed her hand on his shoulders and kissed him on his cheek. “Who is she?” she questioned turning to look at Crystal again.
She glared at Crystal from her head to her toe and had this irritating look on her face.
“Come on Helen, be nice to her. She is actually my maid at home and trust me, she means no harm” Red responded wrapping his hand around her waist.
“Hi , I am Crys…..” Crystal tried introducing herself with a low tone but then Helen yelled at her.
“Don’t you dare lay your filthy smelling maid hands on me. I should give you a shake? That’s so disgusting girl. Have you actually looked at your reflection in a mirror?” she made fun of her looks.
“God!!!! You stink!” she exclaimed walking and moving Red away from Crystal.
Crystal paused for a while and all she could think of was her parents. She knew how much they loved her and made sure she had everything she wanted..
She didn’t believe that a day would come in her life when she would be I insulted to the point of scaring people away.
She looked at Red who was trying to control his side chicks tongue.
“Don’t mind her Crystal, that’s ……” he paused noticing something weird. “Are you crying?” he unwrapped his arms around Helen’s waist and immediately went closer to Crystal.
He was about using his thumb to wipe her tears but Helen held him back. “What the fuck do you think you are doing silly??!” she Opened her eyes widely looking at him.
“Come on Helen, be nice to her. She didn’t do anything bad to you” he tried explaining .
Crystal had already taken enough of her bullshit and without control, she ran out of the building.
“Wait! Crystal!” Red called out as he tried Running after her but Helen grabbed his hand without delay.
“Leave me here all alone and trust me, you wouldn’t see me in this house again!!” she threatened looking into his eyes.
“You know” Red halved a smile as he placed his hand on the hand that was holding him. He began to pull her fingers off him one after the other.
“I just recalled that you were actually tagged as an ex convict’s daughter. I still loved you back then, now I know why my love for you suddenly disappeared and can’t return!!” he glared at her immediately he pulled off her last finger and walked out of the house.
He ran after Crystal seeing how humiliated she was because of him Again.
“Crystal?” he called out.
She got to the parking lot and stood by his car with tears rolling down her eyes.
“I am so so……” he tried apologizing but Crystal interrupted.
“I need to leave now !! Please” she announced and climbed into the car.
“What!!?” Red Exclaimed.
