“And who the fuck do you think you are to make decisions for me? I am a grown up and old enough to know what I want and when I want them do you hear me?” Crystal Barked.
She was so furious seeing how Red had reacted when he saw Jack trying to kiss her in a private place.
“My God Crystal, I just… I just saved your ass back in there and all you could so to thank me is by yelling at me? Good heavens “ he explained feeling so disappointed for trying to help her in the first place.
“I should have just mind my business just as I used to!” he added as he walked towards his car angrily.
Three hours ago…….
Crystal had stopped at the coffee store which Jack her ex boyfriend owned. She had no where to go and when Red invited her to stay in his duplex, she rejected it.
She actually didn’t want to stay with a girl like Helen in the same house. Looking at Helen, she felt disgusted .
Helen too didn’t like her so it was best she left the house which was what she did immediately.
She got into the coffee store and saw her long time classmate san back then in high school .
They were actually close friends until the word envy destroyed their relationship.
When San discovered that Crystal was dating someone she had a crush on, she decided to destroy their relationship by all means.
She tried confessing her love to jack but Jack refused. He really loved Crystal so much and wished to make her his wife soon.
“What are you doing here?” Crystal who was shocked to see her asked but before she could give a response, Jack walked out of his office.
Now San wasn’t In his store for no just cause. Crystal hearing Jack call San bane was one of the things that made her realize that she had actually lost jack.
“Could we go and talk for a while?” Jack asked and that was when he took her out of the coffee store.
It was supposed to be a private area but Red who was waiting to know why Crystal had to stop at the Coffee store saw them.
He had this weird urge to go stop them immediately and trust me, it actually controlled him.
****** Jack’s conversation with Crystal.
“And what did you just call her? Babe?” Crystal started immediately they got out of the coffee store.
“What is there Crystal? Why are you actually making it a big deal?” Jack asked in a rude tone.
“You should be ashamed of yourself Jack. Look at you Jack. I made sure your store makes the best sales in thus town. I had to take turns with some persons just to make you happy.. do you know how hard it was for me to cope with house chores, my aunt and your coffee store? And here you are calling San your babe??!” she tsk as she ran her fingers through her hair.
“Are you Insane Jack??!” she suddenly threw in a rude question. Now she was angry. She was furious and Jack could sense it.
“You know you shouldn’t be so mad at me for what I didn’t cause” He responded referring to Crystal.
“All you thought about was work, money and work. You barely had time for me as your boyfriend Crystal” he explained .
Now Jack had started making sense at this point. It was true that Crystal had only made out time for work and work. She barely had chance to give Jack.
She would always tell him she was busy or she had one job or the other to take care of back at the mansion.
She did all these without knowing how bad he felt all these years.
“You should have fucking told me… you should have explained to me and…” She tried saying but then he interrupted her.
“And what Crystal!!? And fucking what?” he bellowed. The music player in the coffee store was turned on and it made the workers including San inside the store deaf to their conversations.
“San came to me when I needed you the most. What am I even saying” he tsk taking his gaze off Crystal.
“San was actually here , she came to me when I needed her and not you Crystal. All these years, I thought you loved me but all you’ve cared about was what money” he stared clearly.
Tears had threatened to fall off Crystal’s eyes but she had held it in. She didn’t want to show him how weak she was at that point.
If tears were to drop from her eye balls, then she was sure that Jack was going to take advantage of it.
“Wait a minute, have we been talking about money all these while?? I must be foolish. The only thing you have thought about is getting revenge on your fucking parents death Crystal!!!;” he suddenly announced and immediately Crystal yelled out at him without Knowing.
“NEVER YOU EVER IN YOUR LIFE MENTION MY PARENTS DEATH FROM YOUR STINKING PIT HOLE YOU CALL A MOUTH. Do You Hear Me?” she warned pointing her right index finger towards his face.
At some point , Jack was scared. He has never seen Crystal reacting to what ever he said to her like how she just did.
He was scared to ever say a word to her again until he saw her tearing up. He knew he had gotten her just where he wanted her.
Now Jack isn’t the kind of man you all know him for. He was calm and gentle but as he grew up without Crystal showing him the love he needed, he decided to go astray.
Jack cheated on Crystal so many times but she had to forgive him because he promised never to do such again.
Crystal fell to her knees with her hands covering her face. She just didn’t know how to face the fact that she had lost her parents and also the one she loved.
She actually came over to the store to tell Jack about her aunt’s issues. She wished to stay with him and make things right.
She had decided to surrender all her time to him but little did she know that Jack was already seeing San.
“Its just barely two weeks Jack, just a week and you are seeing San. The same girl you despised, the same girl you rejected Jack” she choked on her sobs as she spoke to him.
She was wounded within and didn’t know how to express how she felt.
Jack lowered his height to Crystal’s height since she was on her knees and gave her a warm embrace.
He ran his hands from her hair down to her waist line.
Crystal didn’t really Notice his motive until he began to dip his hand into her trouser.
“What are you doing Jack?” she pushed him away from herself but then , he grabbed her by her hand.
“Don’t you want me back?” He asked and immediately, Red dashed into the scene.
He opened the door looking furious when he saw Jack close to Crystal.
His hands were on her so it was obvious that he had tried to do something to Crystal.
“Now that’s my maid and guess what, no one… I repeat , no one touches her that way except me!!” he uttered with a deep tone.
Crystal was mad at what had happened. She actually felt a pinch of jealousy in Red’s tone but didn’t really give a listening ear to it because he was her boss.
“Lets get out of Here now Crystal!!” he grabbed her hand and tried dragging her out of the store but she had retorted.
“I am not going anywhere with you Red. I choose to stay with Jack!” she stated clearly without thinking twice.
“What!? This scumbag?” Red questioned looking disgusted.
“Excuse me? He is….” Crystal tried saying but Red had already gotten enough of her speech.
He lowered his height and immediately carried Crystal who was on the ground on his shoulder.
He had hung her on his shoulder like his towel used after bathing.
“Let me go now!!” Crystal struggled to get down but Red refused.
Jack could only sit and watch him take her out of his sight. He still wished he had his way with Crystal.
“Let me down?!!” she ordered and immediately, he dropped her on the ground.
They were already outside the coffee store which was a perfect place to get mad at each other.
Three hours later*******outside the coffee store.
“And who the fuck do you think you are to make decisions for me? I am a grown up and old enough to know what I want and when I want them do you hear me?” Crystal Barked.
She was still trying to get a hold of herself while she was kept on the ground.
“I save you from a scumbag like him and all you do to thank me is yelling at me? Come on dummy you are more sensible than this” Red mocked as he walked towards his car.
He opened the door and climbed into it and in no time, he left the place.
“I hate silly girls like her” He stated and hurriedly increased his speed limit to show how angry he was.
