Bumping into Red Again.
Red yelling out at Crystal was something she was actually used to. She was sure that it wouldn’t hurt her but while she sat down on the bench at the bus stop, she felt kind of weird.
“What is wrong with me ?” She wondered as she looked around to check if anyone was looking at her . She heaved a sigh of relief as the bus arrived.
“Finally “ she muttered as she stood up from the bench and walked into the bus . She checked around for a nice spot that she could sit and think about her life since her parents died.
She had no where to go, her only hope which was Jack had turned to a monster over night.
“I guess life has a lot of tougher lessons to teach me before I become an adult “ Crystal said with her gaze placed outside the window.
While the vehicle moved further, she recalled how crazy and mad Red was at her. He had yelled at her like a little kid back at the coffee store.
She felt bad too for making him leave without apologizing to him for causing him so much trouble.
After about an hour, the bus finally stopped in front of another bus stop. A lot of passengers were climbing Into the bus which made it difficult for her to climb out of the bus.
“Fuck!” she exclaimed as she jumped out of the bus finally. It wasn’t that easy even when she realized that a man tried dipping his hand into her pocket.
She stood at a spot with her hands placed on her waist. “Where do I go from here?” she wondered looking around.
Crystal had a friend who could help her. Her only best friend Ariana Williams who had begged her to come stay with them.
Crystal would always reject her offer because she wasn’t sure about what her aunty would think of her.
Now was the time to accept Ariana’s offer, now was the better time to stay outside her aunt’s home and plan her revenge on who ever is responsible for her father’s death.
She summoned courage as she walked straight along a lonely road. The trees that were planted by the road side had escorted her to Ariana’s home .
Unlike Crystal, Ariana had a lot , she had whatever she wished for and desired to have. Her parents were rich and trust me, they barely had businesses to fix their money into.
All they just wished for was to have a loving daughter and give her all she asked for.
Crystal got to the front of the house and stopped. She froze with silence seeing how tall and expensive the building looked.
She had always known that Ariana’s parents were rich but she never believed that they had enough money to build such a huge and expensive looking mansion.
“Crystal!!” she turned when she heard her name from behind.
It was Ariana who called and was waving at her from behind. She was in her parents car and it looked like they were returning from a show.
“Hey, hop in” She suggested as she opened the door to the car for crystal.
“Good afternoon Mr. And Mrs. Williams” She greeted with respect and a smile showing how much she appreciated their lift .
“Hey Crystal, how are you doing today?” Mr. Williams asked turning to look at her at the back seat.
“She’s fine dad, she has always been fine” Ariana responded immediately without giving Crystal a chance to speak for herself.
“Come on Baby, I asked her and not you” Her dad said .
“We are one dad, take it or leave it. She’s in me” Ariana giggled happily which made everyone laugh so hard.
Mr. Williams finally got into the compound with his car and everyone had to alight the car immediately.
“Come on Crystal, let’s go talk somewhere private” Ariana grabbed her friend’s hand and dragged her into her room.
“Ariana just acts like you wills” Her mother turned to her dad teasing him.
Finally, they got to her room and after a brief chat, Crystal decided to open up to her friend.
“You don’t look happy Crystal, come on what is wrong with you?” Ariana asked looking worried.
Crystal tried saying but her tears couldn’t let her tell how she felt at that moment. Tears had began dropping from her eyes all of a sudden and Ariana had no other choice than to calm her down.
“You will be fine ok. You know what?” she stood up smiling.
“What??” Crystal asked looking at her beat friend who had stood in front of her.
“Lets just forget I asked you about this and go have some fun at Jack’s store. You know you love talking to him while you are in such mood” Ariana suggested not knowing that Crystal was no longer dating Jack.
“Come on Crystal, what are you waiting for?” she struggled to get Crystal to her feet but she had retorted.
“Don’t bother about that Ariana, we are no longer a thing” Crystal finally announced.
Ariana fell to her knees not knowing what to say or do at that point. She was dumbfounded with her gaze placed on Crystal.
“What the fuck happened between you two???!!!” she yelled out still bewildered by what she had just heard.
“Its no big deal Ariana. I’m just looking for where to stay for about a month. My aunt doesn’t want me back at the mansion” Crystal stated clearly bending her head to the ground.
“Come here dear” Ariana went closer to her and gave her a tight hug without letting her go.
“You always know the perfect time to give me a warm hug right?” Crystal said softly as tears kept on rolling down her eyes to her cheeks.
“You can stay here for as long as you wish ok. I don’t want you to leave here ever ok?” Ariana assured with a smile on her face.
“Ariana??!!!” she suddenly heard her dad calling her from the dinner room.
“A sec ok” She stood up from where she was squatting with Crystal and ran out of the room to go see what her dad wants.
“Baby , we are leaving now” Her dad announced.
“What??! Where? And why?” she asked looking confused.
“A question at a time baby. Well, the company asked for a board meeting and it looks so urgent. I need to be there as a shareholder ok” her dad smiled as he explained to her.
She paused for a while thinking about her next move and then it came to her. “Dad? I think I am coming with you” She insisted happily as she went back into her room to grab Crystal’s hand.
“What, where are we heading to?” Crystal inquired.
“You will see” Ariana dragged her out of the house and when they got to her dad’s car, they climbed into it.
Mr. Williams started the engine of his car and immediately, he drove out of the house.
After thirty five minutes, they got to the company and immediately Crystal raised her head up to see where they were she was stricken with dumbness.
She turned to look at Ariana who had kept a happy face.
“Its… it’s this…. Wait this is……” She stuttered . Her words had disappeared without her knowledge.
“Come on Crystal, it’s called GT Enterprise . Why can’t you pronounce it easily?” Ariana giggled holding onto Crystal’s cheek and pinching it gently.
“Come on Crystal, my dad has his meeting with his board. Let’s just look around” Ariana suggested as she dragged Crystal out of the car without waiting to hear her out.
They got into the company which meant that there was no turning back anymore. All Crystal wished for was that her aunt wouldn’t see her in the company again.
She kept on looking around like a security staff in the company and it made Ariana laugh at her.
“Come on Crystal, don’t be silly. It’s just a company” Ariana chuckled.
“I didn’t know your dad works here” Crystal stared.
“He is actually just a shareholder here, he is a shareholder for about six companies in town” Ariana scoffed as she looked around for a while leaving Crystal to think about her life.
“Now that’s enough Crystal, I heard they have a shopping mall over there. Why don’t we go and check out the clothes that are there?” Ariana suggested and Crystal accepted.
Ariana was only doing it because she knew that Crystal came empty handed. She had no clothes and shoes with her when she came to her house.
“Why don’t you select from any options Crystal, I would go see what shoe would fit you better ok?” Ariana insisted as she ran off to the shoe section.
After few minutes, Crystal finally found a cloth that she loved so much and immediately, she took it to go check it out.
“Here you go madam” The worker showed her the dressing room with all pleasure.
“Oh… thanks” Crystal appreciated as she held the door knob to open the door.
She was about taking a step in when she saw him Again, she saw the same guy who had tried so hard to help her.
“Red?!” his name escaped her lips without her knowing about it.
“Guess we meet again” He smirked looking at her this time.
His guards ran closer to where he was standing with Crystal and just when they were about to address him as “Sir” , he shut them up with a sign.
He was hiding the fact that he was the heir of GT Enterprise from Crystal probably to win her heart over.
“Lets meet some other time dummy, see you later” He caressed her hair making her feel a rush in her heart as she looked into his eyes.
He walked away this time, without Knowing the feeling he had fixed into her heart.
