Cold Night.
“Come on Crystal, he didn’t really mean to end your relationship with Jack or whatsoever. Who knows, Jack must have never wanted to stay with you in the first place, so get it off your head” Ariana tried explaining to Crystal who had suddenly gone blank hearing her speak with sense.
Ariana folded her both hands with a pinch of anger in her as she averted her gaze from Crystal and placed it back on Red with a smile on her face.
‘He must really like me’ She assumed.
‘I guess she’s right’ Crystal thought to herself. “You might be right Ariana but even at that, I never wished to end things with Jack no matter how rude he was to me on that day” She said out recalling the very Day that Red had saved her from the cold hands of Jack.
She placed her hand on her hair and tucked it behind the back of her ear slowly as she tried compelling herself to believe that Jack was the best guy in her life.
‘I must respect him even if we are not together anymore' She concluded as she released a heavy sigh.
“I am out of here Ari” she announced to Ariana who didn’t care about what she wanted to do.
Crystal saw how rude Ariana had turned out to be because of the maskless guy in front of them.
She smirked as she realized how Ariana had suddenly changed because of a little talk.
“Bye” Crystal said and in a flash, Crystal ran out of sight. She ran as fast as she could as tears began to drop from her eyes.
‘I’m all alone in this cruel world, no one listens to me, no one wants me around ' Crystal wept as she ran continuously to an unknown destination.
“Hey wait up !!” Red yelled out as he ran after Crystal who was in a bad mood immediately.
“Wait up please!!” he begged trying to get her attention.
‘What could have made her run out of sight all of a sudden?’ He wondered as he kept on running after her.
Crystal kept on running without looking back this time, she wasn’t in any mood to talk to anyone not even the rude Red.
After running for about thirty five minutes, Red stopped panting as he tried to catch his breath.
He had suddenly caught up with Crystal. She sat down in front of a mail box by her left as she kept a sad look.
‘Is she really ok?’ he thought.
Red summoned up the courage to go meet her and know her reasons for running off that way.
“Please don’t say anything to me if you don’t want to” Crystal said without any emotions on her face.
He was cold to him and he cod sense fear and heartbreak looking at her.
‘I should get her something nice then if she isn’t in the mood to talk to me’ He turned and saw a bar behind them.
He walked into the bar and ordered for a lot of drinks. Crystal wasn’t willing to leave the spot age was sitting on so he had to bring the drinks go her.
“I don’t take alcohol “ She stated clearly.
“It won’t hurt to sober up you know. Why do t you try it and see first” He urged.
Crystal turned to look at him and realized that he actually had a pinch of care and kindness in his heart.
“Why did you do it?” She threw a sudden question at him making him even confused.
“Do what?” He questioned.
“You caused my break up with Jack and here you are caring about me!” She smirked.
“Do you like me? Am I your secret admirer?” She stood up from where she was sitting and changed her sit.
“What has gotten into her this time? She hasn’t taken any drink and yet she has Started acting all goofy “ He was still shocked at her question.
“like her? Why the hell will that happen “ He hissed as he turned to leave her at that point.
He Angrily left the place without looking back or Caring if she was ok or going to be fine.
On his way back home, He encountered a lot of troubles in his head. He recalled the very first day he saw her without his mask at work and the day he fell on her at the company.
“Silky me” he smiled.
“Wait a minute “ He paused tilting his head to the left in a confused State.
“Did you just smile at Crystal??” He placed a finger on his lips as he asked like he was talking to a living thing who could respond.
A lot of people who had kept on passing by saw him as a joke. He was talking to himself so probably he was an insane person.
When he noticed such, he comported himself immediately.
‘Crap;” he bit the lower part of his lips as he felt ashamed of himself.
He stopped a cab immediately and climbed into it. He couldn’t take the eyes that were placed on him anymore.
“All this are happening because of that silly girl!” He spoke out rudely not minding what he really felt.
“Take me out of here please “ Jayden commanded like the driver was his staff.
He was almost so close to his house and in few minutes, he would go into his home but then, the thought of Crystal kept on popping into his head.
“She will be fine on her own silly, after all, she doesn’t need me” He tsk as he finally arrived at his place.
He got out of the car and paid the driver before leaving.
“Home at last” He spoke out without any smile on his face.
He got to his room and the first person he set his eyes on was Lucy. Crystal’s aunt.
He immediately wore his mask so she wouldn’t see his bare face when she turns around.
“Welcome sir, I…” She was about asking. But then, Red had to cut her short.
“And what the holy shit are you doing in my room?” He questioned rudely with his eye balls popping out like it was going to fall off.
“I… “ She tried explaining.
“Get out!! Now!!” he growled and with fear, Lucy rushed out of his room.
No one had ever dressed his bed before except for Crystal. Lucy never enters his room so seeing her in his room instead of Crystal, it made him furious.
He sat down on his bed and tried as much as possible to calm his nerves down but it just wasn’t possible.
“What in the world is wrong with me” He struck his head multiple times as he thought to himself.
“She will never let you in her life so just let her be!” he said out referring to Crystal.
He immediately made his way to his bathroom and had a quick shower.
When he was out, he got dressed and laid on his bed gently .
“Its late” He looked outside his window after seeing the time on the clock .
“Nah!! She wouldn’t dare to be outside” He shook his head as he worried much about Crystal.
He wrapped himself up with his blanket and tried shutting his eyes but nothing was happening.
He couldn’t sleep, he couldn’t concentrate. He had suddenly lose focus as he thought about Crystal continuously.
“Arrrgh!!” he exclaimed as he stood up, grabbed his leather jacket and a black car key which had a spare key attached to it .
He hurriedly left his room like he had forgotten something at his company..
“Where are you heading to Red?!” his dad asked immediately he caught his shadow.
“I need to take care of something immediately” He frantically dashed out of the house after stating.
He didn’t even wait for his dad’s response. He wasn’t a kid anymore so he had the Rights to do whatever he wanted.
“I can’t believe she still remained there” He started his car engines and drove out of sight .
He was going to take care of the care he had tried compelling himself to think he didn’t miss her or want her around.
He increased the speed of his car and in no time, he got closer to where he had left Crystal.
He stopped his car and when he looked at the other side of the road, he couldn’t find her.
“My assumptions were wrong I see” He scoffed as he tried going back home.
Suddenly, he stopped. “Crystal?!” he called out straining his eyes to see if she was the one.
She was sitting on the ground close to the mail box as she gulped on all the bottles of drinks Red left.
He immediately climbed out of his car and rushed to where she was sitting looking lost.
“What are you doing??!” He yelled out at her and out of the blue, it began to rain.
“Shit!! Come on” he carried her in a bridal style before she could respond and threw her into the back seat of his car.
“I thought you wouldn’t come for me Red” She giggled as she was under the influence of alcohol.
“Red?” he called out and Immediately, She came further close to his face and that was when it happened.
Red’s eyes opened widely as he felt Crystal’s lips on his again and Immediately, she grabbed his wood.
“Fuck!” He exclaimed.
Things were about to get hot.
