"SECRET ADMIRER"
*THAT evening just like what Daniel wanted to happen he gave her a ride home once again. Jenny doesn't know about that because she was unable to tell her.
"Thank you," Ara told Daniel when the young man stopped his car in front of their house.
Daniel just nodded while smiling. "It's okay, it's better like this, I have the assurance that you go home safely," the young man replied.
Ara secretly felt the romantic excitement inside her heart at what she heard.
“By the way, Let's do this again tomorrow okay?”
It was in his tone that he is actually asking for her permission, but deep inside Ara knew that she does not have the capacity to refuse.
“O-Okay,” the young lady then replied in a shaking voice.
AFTER washing the dishes, Ara went into her room to rest.
She feels so tired, but because she is excited to write in her diary about all the good things that happened to her that day, it was as if the fatigue that she was feeling quickly washed away.
From the inside of her bag, Ara pulled out her diary. She is already sitting at her study table and opened it only to get stunned. She saw an envelope stuck in there with a design of a rose and a guitar.
Ara's chest started to pound rapidly then took the envelope.
Love letter?
That immediately played in her mind.
But to whom did it come from?
When she remembered that she had handed Daniel her belongings earlier because she went to the comfort room, Ara immediately felt an inexplicable thrill. After all, she knew Daniel's penmanship so she could determine it just in case.
Dear Ara,
It doesn't matter who I am. What is important is my feelings for you. I do not know where it came from and where it is going? You are so beautiful. And for me, you are the most beautiful woman in my world.
Take care of yourself. You're important to me.
Always,
......
Ara's eyebrows knit after reading the letter as she lowered the paper that she is holding.
She failed to think that she would be able to identify the one who gave it to her because the letter was computerized. Her secret admirer did not put any traces or clue in there that even the initials of his name are not written in there. Instead only six dots.
Because of that, Ara let out a deep sigh and then returned the paper to the envelope and hid it in a beautiful box which is inside the drawer of her study table.
"I thought it was Daniel who gave it," she complained whispering as she opened the pages of her diary.
THAT night just like the previous nights, it became hard for Daniel to fall asleep. Even though he was with Ara for many hours the whole day, he still could not stop himself from missing her. He did not even admit it but he knew deep inside that his feelings for Ara were deepening and he could not deny it. But despite that fact, he still could not admit everything because he did not have the courage to do so.
“WHAT happened to you and why are your eyes like that? Did you have trouble sleeping last night? Again?” Danica asked Daniel the next day as they ate breakfast.
Daniel just glanced at his sister then quietly continued eating so he was not surprised to hear her speak again.
“Daniel? Do you have a problem? Why can't you answer my question?” now Danica's tone of voice was mixed with concern.
He laughed softly at what his older sister had said. "Handsome problem," he replied, then shrugged his shoulders.
"Handsome problem?" Danica laughed too. "I hardly doubt that. Maybe torpe problem," Danica teases him afterward.
Daniel sighed and then finished eating. “What is the point of telling you the truth when you are not going to believe it either? You women,” he said with amusement. "I have to go," the young man added and continued walking out of the house. He was already in the parking space and was about to get into his car when he heard his sister calling him.
"I haven't told you yet but I will be leaving for Cebu this afternoon. I will be staying there for a week," his sister informed him.
He frowned because of what he heard. "One week? And what are you going to do in Cebu?" Daniel asked consecutively.
"Well, I just thought of visiting our house and also our relatives there since I will be leaving for New York next month," Danica explained to him.
But of course, he almost forgot that Danica will be leaving to be with their mother in New York next month. It will only be a matter of time before he and his sister would be together and he would be left alone in that big mansion. At the last thought, Daniel sighed sadly and that reached his sister's hearing.
“Hey, it won't be long and you will go there too, right? Besides if you only follow Mama, she wants you to continue your college education there,” Danica consoled him in her kind tone.
That was when the corner of Daniel's lip rose for a mischievous smile. “I thought you were not assuming? Why do you think I'm sad now because you're leaving?” he decided to bully his sister only to change the sad atmosphere around them.
Danica shook her head at what he said. "You're really crazy!"
Laughing, Daniel opened the door of his car. "I'm only joking," he said. "Just say hello for me to those who are there," he said as he got on and then looked at the backseat where his guitar was.
"Ah, as well as to?" Danica asked meaningfully as she hugged her own arms.
"Tsk, I am over her already," was all he said. "I'll go ahead, I still need to go to Ara," he said winking at his older sister before raising the car window.
That's right, he moved on with Lilet for a long time. Because now apart from his family a special woman really causes him to wake up every morning, and that is none other than Ara. And he is happy with everything they both have now.
LIKE normal employees, as a student assistant, they also have a day-off once a week where they do not have a duty schedule.
And Ara is happy for that day not only because is she free but most especially, she and Daniel have the same rest day.
"Good morning!" Daniel when he parked his car in front of their house.
"Hello," she replied shyly then smiled sweetly at the handsome young man.
"Let's go?" Daniel even tried to get out of the car.
Ara knew what Daniel was going to do so she quickly thwarted his plan.
"Don't get out of the car, it's okay," she said then turned around and got in the passenger seat.
"It's your rest day today isn't it?" the young man who had already driven the car.
Ara nodded in succession before answering. "Yes, and so are you, right?" her response question to Daniel.
“Yeah, what time is your last subject? Do you want to hang out with me on the roof deck later? ” the young man asked her.
Upon hearing that, Ara quickly felt excited, at the same time returning to her mind the scene when she saw Daniel playing the guitar at the same place.
"Sure, no problem," she answered without hesitation. *
