CHAPTER 8 "THIEF OF MY HEART 2"

WHAT happened immediately caught the attention of other students who were there so it was too late when Ara realized what she had done. 

"S-Sorry, it's you ---," the young lady was unable to continue what she wanted to say because without a word Daniel suddenly pulled her waist. 

She was stunned at the same time as her chest started to pound rapidly. "Do you know that you are the only one who did that to me?" Daniel now has a serious tone. 

Ara felt even more nervous when she saw the emotion in the young man's eyes. Especially when he gazes at her face down to her lips. 

“W-What are you planning to do? Let go of me! You idiot!” when she saw the corner of Daniel's lip rise Ara had an idea of what was possibly playing on his mind. 

Ara breathed a sigh of relief when Daniel released her. This was followed by the resurgence of the intense annoyance she felt for the young man. Especially when she noticed that the students there were looking at them. 

"I'll just give this to you," now Daniel's voice is back to normal. 

Ara's eyebrows met immediately when she recognized the cellphone held by the young man. Then she angrily grabbed it from Daniel's hand and then confronted him. 

“How did my cellphone get to you? You took it from my belongings, right?” Ara asked in a low but firm voice. 

At that moment, for the first time, Ara saw Daniel's face reflect a frown. And because of the extreme embarrassment that she felt because of what he did to her earlier, the young lady then had a chance to get revenge on him. 

"You're a thief! I will report you to the Guidance Office!” she threatened him. 

“I did not steal that. And why would I do that?”  Daniel's eyebrows meet who is now obviously annoyed. 

Ara then laughed foolishly because she could already see the victory between the two of them. 

“Really? Or maybe, you took it to get my attention? Am I right?” her sarcastic question just to regret it after hearing the young man's reply. 

"Excuse me," Daniel returned to his teasing tone then looked at her from head to toe. “You’re not my type! I'm just trying to be a good friend here and you still managed to accuse me of what?” he said winking in the way he knew she was the only one who will see. 

At that moment, Ara's patience ran out. She could feel the intense redness on her face because of its intense heat. Not to mention the giggles of the students obviously having a great time watching them. 

"Well, I dislike you more! Arrogant! Thief!” the last thing she said was what she thought could be offset by the intensity of the anger she felt in those moments with Daniel. But she also regrets it. 

“What? Me? Thief?” he grabbed her arm again and that stopped Ara from her plan of getting away from the young man. 

 Once again Ara struggled to withdraw her arm from Daniel's grip but what she did only made the situation worse. 

Because of her struggles, the young man pulled her on her waist again, leaving no gap between them that he even managed to press his body to her. 

"Who do you call a thief?" he asked her and then she saw again the venomous smile that tore at his red lips. 

"You, and you are not just a thief, you are not a real man because you are rude to women!" her loud words caused a commotion around. 

It was too late to retract what she had said. Because following her last accusation she saw the drawing of success in the dark eyes of the man. While on his lips was the mischievous smile that she really hated since they first met. 

"Ah, so that's what you think?" he said. "I'm not a real man?" Daniel asked for clarification. 

Ara knew she was losing. But lowering her pride is not part of the plan and will never be in her plans especially if it is for this arrogant beast. That is why despite the intense beating of her chest she still chooses to answer Daniel's challenging question to her. 

“Yes! And I don't think I need to repeat what I said because it is obvious from your actions! You're not a re---,” she could not continue what she wanted to say when in a flash, Daniel suddenly claimed her lips. 

The corner of Ara's eyes quickly warmed up and she feels like she was about to burst into tears anytime soon especially when she heard all the noises made by the students who are watching them. But she tried her very best to control her emotion and she succeeded. 

She tried to free herself from the man but he was hugging her body tightly with one hand while the other was holding her face. 

She started hitting Daniel's chest as she wanted to free herself from him but the young man just seemed to answer again on what she did in his own unique way. The way he kissed her deepened, causing her whole body to become paralyzed. 

When the young man let go of her lips, only then did she realize that she even closed her eyes unknowingly. And when she opened them, the intense amusement on Daniel's face and smile greeted her. She even felt like she woke up from a good dream and returned to the present time. 

"First kiss?" Daniel's dark eyes twinkled as he asked her. 

When the young man released her, Ara tried to slap the man again, but he quickly grabbed her hand along with the words that woke her up that as if she was still under the spell of his passionate kiss. 

"Do you want another one?" he asked and so the eyes that had been watching them shouted again. 

If only the ground could have swallowed her in those moments, it would have been better. Because of the great embarrassment she felt. So in the end she decided to withdraw her own hand from Daniel and then with her large steps, Ara left the man.
