CHAPTER 63

"Come here." Little steps that were taken one by one stopped infront of the man much stronger than her and she engulfed him into an embrace full of warm sweet devotion and love.
"Dad, I am home." Those arms that were always safer than anything, where nothing could touch her, all evils disappeared, and even the god blessed her, she was back at home, back into his arms that were her home.
They were inside their office with the man looking at some files that Aurora brought to seek his opinion yet the stacks of pages were thrown at the back and the mafia princess was asked to sit down. She remembered he maintained this office exactly similar to it as it was twenty years ago- the chair that she was sitting in at this moment used to be too large for her thus her mother usually had Aurora in her hold while the pair of soulmates talked about almost anything.
She remembered being in awe of the love between them when she grew older because she never had known two different people to take care of each other to the extent her parents did. Now that she had met Hector.....she was in her own fairytale.
She wanted her own life to be like her parents.
"So, you like that man?" Moss green irises were focused on the glazed brown eyes that were embarrassed and looked down, eyelashes bowing for a moment, Aurora thought deeply for a moment and then looked up.
"I love him." Ajax looked at the flushed cheeks and glowing eyes of his only daughter and there was some pleasure in his eyes that could not be hidden.
"So you have finally decided to give up hmm?"
"I-I don't understand dad..." And she did not because Aurora Waylon never gave up on anything.
"You decided to give up on your Mafia Regime." There was a silence after that, with Aurora watching Ajax with wide eyes.
"I made this empire for my Alaina, then came Ares and you that were my children that I worked hard for. Me and Alaina had built this from almost nothing and ofcourse It makes me happy that you carry it on with honor and pride but that does not mean you have to pay me back for my love by working day and night Aurora.
You are my princess, if I won't do this for you then, pray tell me for whom?
This empire is your and Ares' responsibility so now its upto you how you govern it but it won't hurt to breathe and take a break in once in a while."
With wobbling lips and misty eyes that were always known to be colder than ice for others, she cried infront of her father.
Aurora got up and crushed herself into his embrace with her arms around him.
"I am telling you, you are still the best man in my life!"

"Is this from France, from your latest exhibition?"
"Oh my god! How do you know it?! I m-mean no, like you are the queen so you know everything but still, n-no I am not saying t-that you are a stalker b-but-"
"Hector have a glass of water." Ajax was stone-cold earlier but now felt a little pity and shook his head, ,if he troubled this person more, Hector looked like he might take his little baby and flee from the windows.
"Yes sir!" When he saluted as they did in the army, Alaina could not help but laugh at his innocence before smacking Ajax's hand gently.
"I hope you are comfortable-" The atmosphere felt like that of an interrogation room but Aurora was busy ogling her adorable man so looked at him in daze.
"My name is Hector Valadros! I am twenty-seven years old. I graduated at the top of my class in Economics and business management. I am now the CEO of Asiatics. I am only average at cooking but I promise to learn! I know how to wash dishes, water the plants and I am comfortable with both cats and dogs but that does not mean i want them if Aurora doesn't-"
"Ajax stop giving him chills, even I am freezing with your indifferent eyes! Dear he has that face, he won't ask you to break up with Aurora. Relax." Hector who ranted god knows what dared not relax when green irises that were cold now looked at him in some sort of anger and complain, the mafia king was reprimanded by his wife because this 'new' person showed up who not only stole his innocent daughter's heart but also won his wife's approval.
"Dad remember what I said."
Yes right, Aurora said he was still her favourite.
"Alright Hector, welcome to the family." Those were the words that were said but the mafia man meant to convey 'My daughter is my heart so if she cried because of you, I will bury you six feet under the earth and not even the gods will find your body." This time the nervousness was shred and Hector became serious.
Silver irises with all genuine and sincere emotion flashed before he the words were spoken.
"I want to marry Aurora but I am also willing to wait till she wants me to. I have waited ten years for her and will do everything that makes her happy. All I want in this life is her presence with me......I love Aurora and will do everything for her."
