(**Parker’s POV**)

“You are treading on very dangerous ground here, Owen,” Parker growled at his brother when he noticed the look Owen directed towards Rayne.

“What? Am I not allowed to come visit you to introduce you to my mate?” Owen asked, tearing his eyes from Rayne.

“There are such things as cellphones, Owen. I have one question though before we send you two away. Is she your true mate or your chosen mate?” Rayne as she steps out from behind Parker.

Owen huffed out a breath as he looked back to Kerri, “She is my chosen mate.”

“That explains some things. Have you marked her?” Parker asked as he glared at Owen.

“Not yet. We were waiting until we finally got settled here,” Kerri says. There is a note of something in her voice that sets Parker on edge even more.

Almost like she doesn’t like Owen. Odd for her to claim to be his chosen mate. Unless he knocked her up and they are now stuck with each other. Parker looks at the two of them before he touches Rayne’s arm. He can feel the heat pump off her, meaning he needed to get her back inside the house before it explodes.

“Oh, that smells divine,” Owen moaned as he took a step forward towards Rayne.

“Brother or not, if you take one more step towards my mate, I will hurt you.” Parker growled out as he shoved Rayne behind him. He knows she can defend herself, but her heat will cloud her judgement.

“Owen, now seems to be a bad time. We can come back in a few days. What we have to tell them will wait for later,” Kerri grabbed Owen’s arm, pulling him back towards her.

“I want a taste of that scent,” Owen growled as he shook off Kerri’s hold.

That is the last straw. Parker changed into a panther and lounged at Owen. He had Owen’s neck in his teeth in the blink of an eye. Kerri let out a scream as she jumped back in shock. Parker clamped down hard on his brother’s throat until he drew blood, then he reared up to toss Owen away from Rayne. Parker shifted back into his human form, breathing hard, and growling viciously.

“Parker,” Rayne whispered, getting his attention instantly.

“Oh, Goddess, it is coming on again, isn’t it?” Parker spun around to see Rayne pressed against the glass door, but it was why that made him freeze.

Kerri had Rayne pinned against the sliding glass door with a knife to her throat. What the fuck? Parker took a step forward, only to stop when Kerri drew blood with the knife as she moved it enough to cur the skin of Rayne’s throat.

*Rayne, baby, do you remember that time with those bikers in that little bar in Dallas?* Parker asked Rayne through their link.

Rayne brought her foot up then down on the bridge of Kerri’s foot, then she elbowed her in the solar plexus with all her strength. Kerri dropped the knife as she doubled over, clutching her abdomen. Rayne took that moment to open the sliding glass door, stepping inside, then closing it behind her. As she did a wave of lust went through Parker’s body as he felt her heat rise with full force to the surface.

*Rayne, when I get in there, I am going to fuck you hard over the back of that couch* Parker told her with a seductive tone through their link.

He then blinked rapidly as he walked to where Kerri had dropped the knife. Then he stepped up behind her, pulled her hair sharply to expose her neck as he pulled her up from her feet. Placing the knife at her throat just as Owen stood up, making eye contact with his brother. “Now I know she isn’t your true mate, she isn’t marked. What else have you lied about? Are you even my brother?”

Owen glared at Parker, then his eyes flicked to Kerri’s, “Yes, I am your brother.”

“I find that harder and harder to believe every day. Now I am going to ask you to leave and never come to our house again. You can come to the bar, but you are no longer welcome in our home,” Parker told him. He removed the knife from Kerri’s throat, gave her a hard shove, then turned into his eagle form.

Parker flew up over the house to land at the back door. He opened the door, locking it behind him, then made his way into the living room. Owen and Kerri were staring daggers at him through the window. Kerri grabbed Owen’s arm and pulled him off the deck. The sound of squealing tires was music to Parker’s ears.

“Parker,” Rayne moaned his name, causing him to look up at her.

Rayne dropped the robe to the carpet in a whisper of silk. She stood there in all her glory with the sun shining through the windows at her back. Her amazing breasts moving up and down as she breathed in and out rapidly. Both nipples pebble hard. Parker felt his erection throb as he looked his fill of her. Oh, Goddess, his mate is fucking sexy.

Parker walked to Rayne, scooped her up, then placed her on the couch. He had her facing the back of it on her knees with her hands gripping the couch. Rayne spread her knees, popped her ass out, then looked back at him over her shoulder. Her green eyes full of lust and want for him. Parker dove right in, spearing her with his erection in one hard, almost brutal thrust.

Her moan causing his eyes to roll back in his head with pleasure as her inner walls clenched around him. Holy fuck, he almost orgasmed right then and there. Parker closed his eyes as he breathed deeply to not blow his load like a virgin on their first time having sex. Then Rayne took control and started pushing back against him.

(**Rayne’s POV**)

“Oh, Parker, harder!” Rayne screamed her pleasure as he thrust into her from behind.

They were on their third round. He had her bent over on her hands and knees on the floor of their bedroom. Rayne’s legs were shaking as she struggled to hold herself up, but Parker placed an arm around her stomach to hold her up. She leaned forward so her face was against the carpet, her hands on either side of her head. This position left her ass in the air and allowed him to go deeper.

The orgasm that ripped through her a few minutes later causes her entire body to shake in pleasure. Moments later, Parker followed her over that edge into the void of sexual pleasure. After he emptied his seed deep within her, he pulled free to fall to the floor next to her. Her heat may be the death of them both with the way they were breathing now.

“Let’s just stay right here for the rest of the night,” Rayne asked him as she rolled over to lay her head on his sweaty chest.

“We need a bath, my love. We smell like sweat and sex. I love both on you, but I think a hot bath will do us both good until the next wave hits you.” Parker says between his heavy breaths.

“You just want bathtub sex,” Rayne laughs.

“That is a given, but come one, let’s get you up.” Parker stood in a fluid motion that Rayne admired.

His muscles rippling as he used his powerful thighs to push himself up off the floor. The view of his bare ass was nice too. She thanked the Moon Goddess silently for making Parker her mate. Parker leaned down, scooping Rayne up into his arms, then he to her into the bathroom. Five minutes later they were relaxing in the steamy hot water. Paker was leaning back in the tub with Rayne’s back against his chest from her place between his legs.

His even breathing let her know he was finally relaxed enough to talk. “I want Sam to design my wedding dress”

“Oh, really? I didn’t know you were still in contact with my ex-lover,” Parker’s voice sounded lazy, like he was close to sleep.

Samantha, one of the woman Parker was with during his Polyamorous days, had found him a year ago by accident. She stayed in Bodega Bay for a month getting Parker caught up on things in Montana, and all Parker has accomplished since that night he found Kaylee. Rayne has an instant connection with Sam.

She was a fashion designer, who made some of the most amazing dresses Rayne had ever seen. They connected through Parker, had a few wonderful laughs, then Sam went home. Same would send Rayne clothes from time to time to wear to help bring attention to her designs. So far it had worked quite will. Rayne had been asked often who made her dress, and she would send those interested to Sam’s website.

“Yes, she sent me that maxi dress I wore at the beach when we were in Florida,” Rayne tells him as she lifts her leg up out of the water to run the loofah over it. “Do you have a problem with me talking to Sam?”

“No, why would I? Sam and I were never more than lovers. If you want her to design your dress, then you should call her soon. I guess that means we will push the wedding back a bit?” Parker lifted his head at the sound of water splashing around as Rayne lifted her leg.

“I think it would be a wise idea to push it back for a bit so you can confront your brother over what happened today. Something is going on with him and Kerri that I dislike,” Rayne spoke with steel in her voice over the last bit.

Parker let out a heavy sigh at the mention of his brother, “I had no idea he hadn’t marked his mate, or that she wasn’t even his true mate. I never even thought to ask those questions since he mentioned he met her years ago. I made the assumption she was his true mate. Have I given Owen too much trust?”

Rayne felt the tension form in Parker’s body and regretted bringing Owen up now. “I think you gave him your full trust because he is your brother and you thought he was dead all these years.”

“I wanted very much to kill him for how he looked at you and talked about how your arousal smelled,” Parker growled as he remembered the look on Owen’s face.

“Let’s not talk about that right now. Tell me what you envision our wedding to be like. I want to hear what you want for the day we show our love to our family and friends,” Rayne shifted a little so she could turn around to look at him. She ended up straddling his lap with her arms around his neck.

“I think right on the beach will be great. You with a bouquet of lilies and one red rose in your hair. I am so not wearing a tuxedo though, so get that out of that head of yours,” Parker told her with a laugh when she pouted.

“Fine, but you must at least dress nice. I want one of those nice button-up that I love on you, top three buttons undone so I can see your chest hair.” Rayne ran one of her hand down his chest to play with his chest hair.

“Keep that up, you little minx, and I won’t be waiting until the next wave hits you,” Parker grunted as she wiggled her hips over him.

“I want your hair down during the wedding too so I can do this,” Rayne slid both her hands up the base of his head, then she gripped his hair to bring his mouth to hers.

Their kiss went from soft to heated in seconds. Parker wrapped both of his arms around her waist as they kissed deepened. They broke apart, gasping for breath.

“You can have me any way you want the day you so yes to being my wife,” Parker kissed her nose.

“Can I have you any way I want you right now?” Rayne asked as she lifted her hips to take him deep inside her.

Parker moans as she moved over him, “You can have me any way, any time, and anywhere you want.”

The water was chilly, but their bodies were hot with passion. They went from inside the tub to the edge of the tub, then the floor of the bathroom to the bed over the next several hours. The sun had set by the time their passion was spent. Rayne reached down to entwine her fingers with Parker’s after they both flopped onto their backs.

Parker reached to the floor to retrieve one of the blankets that had been tossed to the floor. He covered their bodies as their sweat cooled. Rayne rolled over after he covered them both so her head was resting over his heart. Parker wrapped his arm around her waist and sighed as the exertion of pleasuring her turned into exhaustion.

Rayne listened to Parker’s heartbeat steady and his breathing become deep and even as he fell asleep. She was envisioning their wedding day as her body was relaxed and fully satisfied. Rayne could see them standing at the edge of the water, right at the tide line, bare feet getting wet as the water came in and went back out over the sand.

The sun set casting pinks and purples over the water. Parker’s hand in hers as they say their vows. Rayne decided she didn’t want the vows of a typical human wedding. She wants to write her own. Knowing Paker the way she does, he will already have what he wants to say to her in his head. She loved that about him.

Parker always went full out on everything he did. Asking her to marry him the way he did by slipping the ring on her finger while he made love to her was such a romantic gesture. He knew she would say yes, no matter how he asked her, but having him deep within her body as he slid that diamond ring on was perfect.

He would have decided what to say on their wedding day before he asked her to marry him. Rayne couldn’t wait to hear those words he would say to her while they stood with their family watching. Rayne fell asleep listening to the sound of Parker’s heartbeat and a smile on her face.
