CHAPTER 44 BONUS

It was an auspicious event, the princess of the nation is born and without any doubt she is the new heir to the throne. Each and every tribe from all over the world is invited, all leaders of different clan, alphas and their pack members from all ranks were attending even the Gods were not left behind.
It is a mixture of different cultures and is in order to show that nobody would be left behind, the tribal leaders were treated with utmost respect and the attendants taking care of them were the servants who were well aware of their rituals and ways thus arranging and taking care of things even before being said.
The Alpha's appeared to be posh and took themselves as too high and above all but even they couldn't help but feel like dirt beneath the shoes of the King and Queen.
All the commoners were allowed to attend the event with the major thing is that the security is so impenetrable that none of them were allowed inside without through checking.
Food and wine from the best of the best countries with soft piano music floating throughout the candle lite scenery, sweets and pastries with exotic fruits and wines aged more than two hundred years were present on the decorated tables.
Dancers were dancing softly and elegantly seeming as if they were wind, all soft and fleeting entertaining the guests.
Although it is a birthday banquet but then it is also means to solidify the foundations of the ruler being born, it would clearly show what is the baby's status in heart of the people and Royalty itself.
The Alphas were awed when they saw the gem carved ceiling making the hall looked as if lightened and brightened by the sun itself . The Jade mirror mansion was said to be built by the lycan king himself, only for his precious mate Medusa.
People have love their mates since long time but the way the King is devoted to his queen is otherworldly and the palace servant never failed to sing the tales of their masters so while others those who have never visited the palace looked at it as if watching completely another dimension, those who had the privilege to visit before were very respectful and diligent in their conduct.
The princess has not been named yet and the honor to name the royal heir what's to be given to the Gods themselves. it was rumored that King God Hades and Luna mother persephone was going to be there as well but when people did find anybody not even the rulers present in their respective seats it was as if confirming that all those things were exaggeration and nothing more.
Many also speculated that Queen Medusa was just exaggerating about herself when she was nothing more than the Rogue Princess.
There were many hushed whispers, different things that were being said were echoing at different times ,murmuring and chattering ringing and bouncing off the palace walls was enough to tell that people were very excited but also apprehensive with what was about to come.
"All hail lycan King Rhysand and Luna Queen Medusa" various Palace officials and delegates of different positions were sitting nine levels down the Throne on their respective seats. The Alphas and there were also taking their seats in their respective positions at the fifteenth position while the commoners had a gathering in a circle, approximately 1000 people were present inside the great Castle at the moment.
When the Alpha king statured inside, this child was clutched to his chest protectively, the black suit flowing on his body appearing lethal as his black cloak moved like a swishing sword yet dangerously making him the most handsome among the men.
The golden embroidery with Jade encrusted on it made his clothing extravagant yet somewhat it brought out his arrogance and pride along with the beast residing in him much more visible.
But maybe the dangerous aura surrounding him isn't enough to showcase his possessiveness over his mate and child he also had a long sword tucked beside him and small arrows dipped in poison kept in his inner belt as embellishments with them shining every now and then.
The woman beside him was extraordinary beautiful as set by the universe itself she was Medusa said to be the beloved daughter of the queen and king of Underworld, long Golden gown glittered appearing so elegant the gold dust sparkling in her hair made her appear equally lethal.
The people stood in complete silence, the women in awe and haze and men watching the queen with dazed eyes looked down bowing as if afraid of provoking the beast.
The women and the lunas could have been jealous with the magnificence of the woman sitting on the Throne as the king hovered over her like a shadow but they dare not, she was once the strongest in the fiercest warrior walking on the earth even now when she have lost all her powers it isn't said that she was capable to take half of the army with her strength.
And the day when she declared her right over her mate and threatened anyone thinking to rebel, she is not a force to be reckoned with, earlier there were news circulating that the Alpha king was very kindhearted but the day he beheaded his official in the market and kept his head as a souvenir people became very well aware of who he is.
Thus everyone is more obedient than before….well except the elder sitting on a level down the throne grumbling to the queen how he hated the flavor of the chicken soup.
'This is ridiculous."
'How do you find it bad if you haven't even tasted it?"
'I smelled it young lady, don't be cleaver with me." Medusa pouted making the elder sigh as if the burden of universe was on his shoulders and take a sip.
'As I said, its bad."
'You are prohibited from too much cheese old man why don't you eat silently."
'Who are you to prohibit me from eating my cheese!"
'There is enough fat in the soup."
'Enough for a matchstick like you!"
Many people were distracted from the auspicious dance being performed and looked at the elder bickering back and forth as the King tried to coax him.
It was truly astonishing this man was Elder Clesmond...the oldest sage present on the mortal realm and father of elder Avalon who was said to be killed by the king himself.
Why was the man so close with his son's killer?And why did the almighty Alpha king showed such patience towards a criminal's father?
What they did not know is that the nature and future did not went according to anyone's will. Avalon had to die or he would have one day killed everyone and Elder Clesmond had long given up his son who walked on the path of terror and cruelty.
When the performance ended people came forward to give gifts to the royal family, there could be anything because neither the Queen nor the King put too much face value on money solely, the intentions were important.
A group of Alphas were going to pay their tribute when the ground started trembling yet the rulers looked peaceful as if they had supposed it would happen.
Soon enough a grown similar to that of wolves resonated and a yellow ring swirled opening the portal from immortal realm to the mortal world and came out the three headed hellhound of Underworld-Cerberus
When people were crying with fear there was a soft laughter of a baby that made the growling stop and the hound alert.
Rhysand grinned down at his small tiny angelic daughter and Medusa stood up smiling widely kissing the forehead of the child.
Cerberus was awed and jumped upon the podium near to the throne, his gigantic size equal to Gaelic shrink till he was only 5 meters tall and went to the royal couple in excitement to watch the child in their arms.
People were spellbound when instead of closing, the portal grew bigger and came out the two deities that their kind worshipped. Gasps could be heard all around when goddess Persephone walked hand in hand with her mate King Hades to bless the bundle of sunshine.
All doubts were proved futile when the rulers went on their knees.
'Mother, father" Medusa called with a tear trailing her eyes when strong hands held her shoulders making her stand up.
Medusa looked into the grey irises and tears and smile mingled.
'You make us so proud daughter." Hades patted Medusa's headtruing to remember that how come time passed so quickly and she grew up to be a mother herself before he looked at Rhysand as Persephone pulled him up making him tower her frame.
'You have just given birth don't do these unnecessary rituals." The goddess smiled at Medusa filled with warmth only to keep a palm on her mouth as emotions clouded in her eyes looking at the tiny baby making noises at her.
' Do you see it Hades……..we never had the privilege to hold Medusa and now we are…..god look at her she is so precious."
'Euphoria…..she will be the epitome of extreme happiness and she will only see light in her life. I bless you with joy and mirth my child."
King Father Hades blessed small little child and soon after goddess Persephone followed "I will bless you with valor, strength and courage. The place that you go shall Bloom with flowers whatever is in your heart may you achieve and get a mate truly made for you."
the couple soon disappeared into mist it was certain that they were going to visit the child, Medusa and Rhysand later. The people present in the ceremony did not had any rights night have the qualifications to meet records and they were graced with their presence, the couple have already broken when you lost to come in front of so many models in a crowd and they would not stay anymore.
Soon after they were withdrawn Lucien and Celeste approached. Lucien had previously apologized heavily and after so many months Medusa finally accepted it because now it didn't matter to him she was at peace.
