Chapter Ten

Stella

The house was big enough to accommodate three people, There were two rooms in the house, with a living room and a dining room, Stella already planned to prepare the other room for her baby. Once the cleaners were done, Stella paid them. The house was painted in White, white walls and white floors, There was three couches that sat in the room, a small center table an a small television. She arranged their room which was painted in white, There wasn't a bed just a mattress she dressed the matters in a blue bed sheet and laid a blue duvet on top. The other room was painted in black which looked really odd and weird. Aaron had gone to the restaurant to solve some issues with his boss.
Stella decided to go grocery shopping and she needed to get cooked food, She didn't know any where as she was new, she decided to ask around, she wore a yellow sundress with sun flowers imprinted on it. she took a black purse. The sun was rather not friendly, She useed the back of her hand to cover the sun, There were few people outside, a couple and a few children. She typed "grocery shops around me" on google, she found a couple, the closest was one close to the street. She hailed a bus and stepped in.
There were only two people in the bus, Stella and an old woman, The woman looked rather too creepy, She gave the aura of a creep. She sat on the back seat, looking at Stella when Stella looked back she would turn away. The woman wore a black thick liner that covered all most all her eyes, her face had wrinkles all around.
Once the bus stopped, Stella hurriedly stepped out. She took a trolley and went on shopping, She got freeze mac and cheese, freeze pizza and a lot of frozen foods. She was about to pay the bills when she looked into the side mirror and saw the old woman, Stella didn't remember her stepping down the bus with her. When she looked back the woman wasn't there again, when she looked into the mirror she saw her again. She tried looking back but she couldn't see her, when she looked into the mirror again she saw her.
"Ma'am are you okay?" The cashier asked making Stella step out of her thoughts.
"Yes I am fine." Stella said.
"You are sweating and just a minute ago you were shaking." The cashier said in a voice of concern.
"I am fine." Stella said.
"Are you sure ma'am." The cashier asked again.
"Yes I am fine, How much is it." Stella asked.
"fifty dollars and twenty cents." The cashier said.
Stella didn't want to stay there any longer, she had no idea what she saw? or what was going on?. She quickly gave the cashier her money and took her bags. "Keep the change." Stella said while leaving. She stood outside inhaling heavily trying to figure out what was going on?. She entered a small restaurant to get food.
"Good afternoon ma'am, how can I help you?".
" I will like two plates of Chinese noodles, pack it to go." Stella said. When she looked down to get the money she heard her name been called, she raised her head to be met with those horrific eyes, She saw her again, The old woman wore a devilish smile that spread across her face.
"Lord!" Stella shouted and stepped back a bit almost falling on the ground but she maintained her balance. The cook and the rushed out of the back door.
"Ma'am Are you okay?, You shouted."
"I.....I...I think I am fine." Stella said.
"Are you sure ma'am?, you screamed."
"Can I have a glass of water." She asked while cleaning the sweat on her fore head.
"Ok sure."
Stella sat on a near by chair, trying to catch her breath. "9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1," Stella said while trying to clam herself down.
"Here is your order and a glass of water."
"Thank you." Stella quickly reached her purse and paid him. Her hand shook as she held the glass of water and drank it. " I need to calm down, I am just hallucinating, It just an imagination, it not real it can not be real." Stella said while trying to calm herself down.
She took her bags and headed home, This time she was the only one in the bus, when the bus stopped she ran into the house and locked the doors.
"Every thing is okay, Everything is going to be fine, I am okay I am imagining." Stella said once again trying to calm herself down.


Aaron.
He arrived at the restaurant, the restaurant was large, The interior was beautifully decorated, There were chairs and tables all around the room, some tables had three chairs while some others had two chairs, a beautiful flower vase on the middle of every table, the table clothing were made of Italian designs, There was a bar that had all kinds of alcohol, The ceiling and floors were made of beautiful embroidery designs, huge windows that were covered with an Italian curtain and a staff by the side of every table dressed in a black suit with a towel on their right hand. Aaron was given the post of the manager, The knocked on the door of the ceo, he heard a come in and he opened the door.
"Good afternoon sir." Aaron said.
"Afternoon, Have a sit." The ceo said. His office was fully air conditioned, a table and a chair a couch by the side of the room, a shelf that contained different books on business. His name plate was beautifully kept of the table.
"Mr. Knight."
"Welcome, How was your trip?" Mr. Knight asked.
"Good sir, My wife and I have occupied the house Thank you for it." Aaron said with a huge smile on his face.
"You are welcome, I will brief you on your work you will start tomorrow." Mr. Knight said.
he briefed Aaron om his worm, introduced him to all the staffs.
