She's stuck in my head

"Welcome back from work Sir…your supper is read-"
The Nanny greeted Ethan but he only walked past her like she was a piece of furniture and not even a person at all.It was when she called him out again that he groaned and replied from the corner of his mouth.
"I'm not hungry…"
As he was walking up the stairs to the master bedroom he could hear her footsteps following after his and he groaned into his palm.
"Sir you didn't have anything before leaving for work in the morning and now…. now you are going to bed without eating or-"
"I had Chinese takeout at work, are you happy now can I have some fragment of peace in my own house now?" Ethan fumed at the elderly woman that had taken care of him when he was less than a toddler.
"Sir, nothing can ever beat a home made meal..let me prepare you something nice to eat…what do you want?"
She still didn't want to give up on him and he sighed.
"Fine, some stir fry spicy noodles and chicken,"
He said then marched over to his bedroom with no intention of eating it the moment it was done, the moment he saw his bed his whole body was got drawn to it and in seconds he was slumped on it groaning as his body ached.
Today he had to battle off an army of nosy press that were asking about his divorce, people were wondering what had happened to the Cinderella wedding of the century.
He imagined how tantalizing it must've been on paper when people first heard he was getting married, the most eligible billionaire bachelor marrying a nobody bar maid.
It seem like something that could only happen in some cheesy fairytale but it was actually something that happened to him.
Unfortunately for the Cinderella he was no prince charming.
And he knew that her carriage had turned to a pumpkin far sooner than she had expected. He walked over to the cupboard and held the divorce papers in his hands.
He was expecting a rush of euphoria to blast at him, a flooding feeling of ecstasy that he had both gotten back at her and secured his inheritance from the greedy hands of his Uncle and cousin.
But then all he felt was this emptiness that claimed his whole being so strongly that he thought that he couldn't breath properly anymore.
He adjusted his tie and yet the suffocation didn't fade away.
He shoved the papers into the drawer with a sigh.
"I must be tired from all the work I had to meet up with today," He told himself firmly as he kept them away and decided to take a shower, but even as the water ran down his toned body all he saw her face.
"Ugh!" He groaned, as he was drying himself up later he was quick to tell himself that he was only thinking of her because he had spent so much times with her in two years and that's why the image of her stuck to his mind.
Just then an idea popped into his mind.
"I need to head out,"
He was now technically a free man again which meant that he could be with whatever woman he wanted.
"The most eligible playboy bachelor is back in town,"
He smiled to himself with a snicker, all he needed was a pretty blonde tonight, then maybe a redhead the next day then another shameless whore the day after that and it would be all fine.
He would even forget that he had even met a girl called Agnes Cole talk less of even marrying her.
Yes…that was all he needed to do.
"You know that you're an idiot right?"
That was the first thing that comes up to his best friend the moment he met up with him at a bar
"You threw away the best woman in your life just so that you could massage your ego"
"I don't know what the hell you're talking about she was just a pawn in my car and she has played her part they is no need for her anymore…"
His friend glared at him.
"Mark my words you are going to regret it,"
"No but I'm already regretting it so badly I don't think I can even handle myself I will need something time to recover" Ethan said in a mocking tone as he shoved drink into Clint's hands and walked over to a tall redhead that was at the other side of the bar and her eyes were glued to her phone.
Clint tried to call him back but then just huffed to himself.
"What am I doing…it's not like I'm his baby sitter or anything,"
He was furious with himself that he had been unable to tell Agnes the truth about his friend…that he was only playing with her.
As Ethan walked closer to the red head it became more and more obvious that she would fit in warming up his bed nicely for the night.
"Hello, what's a pretty girl like you doing alone?"
She looked up giving him a sexy smile he was happy that the same hunger in her eyes perfectly reflected the one in his.
"Waiting for a handsome man like you to pick me up with such an overused line,"
It it had been any other man he would have shrunk away with shame and embarrassment, but not Ethan, he decided to take it that he was a little dusty.
"Hmmm I'm a little dusty, so let me be a little blunt,"
"About what exactly?"
She was talking with him while her eyes never left her phone for a second, and his own eyes never left her body.
He would have just backed away but the thought of Clint laughing at him the moment he stepped away made him fixed in that position.
"How many zero's do you charge for a night?"
She finally took her eyes from the phone.
"Let's start with five and I'll see if you mean business,"
My arrogant billionaire husband
