When it's on arrived at the party she was wearing a sharp black suit and walking in with a blonde that was wearing a dress that was two sizes too small for her. he didn't seem to mind though as her only focus was on her date Ethan Moore.
The blonde was smiling like someone that had won the lottery as she crossed her arms with him and his eyes never seem to meet hers for more than a second before it was gone again scrolling around the party it was as if he was looking for someone, because he look so distracted.
"Babe I'm right here what are you looking at?"
She said waving her hand in his face with a smile a smile that quickly fell to the ground as he grabbed her hand and shoved it away like it was trash, then he said with a nasty looks shot in her direction.
"I know you are probably never been in an elite party before but can you at least try not to embarrass me?"
The blonde girl looked as if she was close to tears but did not see anything simply shaking her head and muttering an apology saying that she would behave better he only scoffed at this.
"You had better. I don't want you to embarrass me."

You should not have brought this one along she was too classless for a party like this even though he knew that the person hosting the party was actually the friend of his father you didn't know that the man was so influential because he could recognize a lot of creme de la creme of the society casually strolling around giving half-hearted compliments to each other in the ground ball sized hole that the party was held at.
The moment he stepped in he couldn't help but compare her to everyone else that was in the party she looks so out of place like a mushroom in a garden and he just wanted to pluck her out on throw her away, if Agnes was the one that had come with him she would have had a more classy and despite being a barmaid.
He felt like instantly slapping himself when he thought of Agnes she was gone from his life already there was no need for him to concern himself with her you didn't care about her he kept telling himself he had only used her to get his own goals.
Besides, what was the worst that these blonde could do anyways to embarrass him, he had barely been able to allow that thought to travel through his mind before he found her holding two glasses of wine that she had stolen from a waiter.
"Isn't it too early to be drinking in the party?"
He asked her looking into her eyes she could tell by the glassiness of them that she was already almost gone.
"Come on is there a time that stomachs open up after all what's a party without drinks?"
He wanted to crawl away from her side but they realise that the only thing more pitiful than being with a classless lady was being without anyone at all a lot of people would have recognised him by now as the rich billionaire that had divorced his wife seeing him all alone we'll just stir up more rumours that he would rather not be part of.
"This is not the kind of party that you get hopelessly drunk it is not a club ok? so why don't you take it easy when we get to my place you can drink as much as you want."
After saying that he promptly took away the two glasses from her hand and place them on a waiter's tray that was passing by and empty.

"I never said I was looking forward to it I just want to know what exactly that you are planning so I can stop you."
At this point the doors of the hall began to crack open and more guests began to flood it this was when the celebrant came up to give a toast and this gave the blonde another excuse to grab a glass of wine.
"I remember when the company I have now was nothing more than a dream the dream of a college dropout"even though he had some silver streaks in his hair the man that was speaking look the very young compared to his age and the woman that stood next to him was equally in favour with time and she could be mistaken for somebody much younger.
"In those dark times when I thought I would never amount to anything this woman next to me still by me even when everyone told her that I was a lost cause and today we celebrate 47 years together and this years have been the best of my life so do that I want to give it to us find yourself somebody who will stick with you in your darkest moments cheers"
Ethan felt as if he was a balloon that have been deflated and his chest that he had held high all night deflated considerably.
