Clementine POV
I can’t believe, I did. I finished the game and we won.
"Clementine!" I looked behind me and saw Fin smiling. He immediately walked closer to me, I also walked closer to him and we greeted each other with a tight hug.
"You did, you did my princess." He whispered and I felt him kiss my hair.
"I can't believe, we won." I said while smiling. He let go of my hug and looked into my eyes.
"I told you you can do it. You are the most powerful of all my princess, you are very good." He said so I smiled.
"But how? I'm just a man. How could I have--"
"Shh don't talk like that when Vampire high students are around us." He said that's why my forehead is so wrinkled. He held my hands then stared me seriously in the eyes.
"Let's find out later Clementine, as long as you promise that you won't be told that you can stop time." He whispered so my forehead wrinkled even more.
"Why?" I asked. He kissed the backs of my palms then looked into my eyes.
"They can't understand you." he said shaking me. What does he mean?
"Then I'll explain everything to you when the two of us are okay? Right now we need to think about our victory." He smiled and said the reason for me to smile.
"Clementine." We both looked behind me and saw Fin's siblings.
"How are you, how are you going?" Leana asked me. I swallowed and looked at Fin. Fin held my hand tightly then walked over to me.
"Yes Clementine, as far as I know I left you aside so that other opponents wouldn't hurt you." Von sighed.
I was devastated by what they said. Leona's eyes narrowed which made me even more nervous.
"I took advantage of the fighting and the commotion of all of you, I went to ... On the west side where only a few were fighting until I could make my way to the back of the finish spot." When I lie.
"How did you get to the west side eh I'm there too?" Creed asked so I was nervous.
"Right .... You were there, I saw you fighting against the wolf vampire." I said so he frowned and fell silent.
"Hayst, that doesn't matter anymore. The important thing is we won and thanks to Clemente." Van said while smiling.
"Ladies and gentleman, student's of Vampire High, let us all give around of applause, Team Vaughn with Clementine for winning our maze game." Applause and shouting filled the area. I smiled.
"You're great." Fin whispered so I smiled even more. Even tires are still a mess for me. Even though I don’t understand what’s going on I’m happy because we succeeded. I looked at Creed's behavior who looked at me as if he was examining me. I was nervous to think I was seeing him now.
"Fin, I'm just need to go to the comfort room." I said so he let go of my hand and looked at me.
"I'll wait for you here, don't be long." He said so I nodded and walked towards the nearby comfort room. When I was able to enter, I immediately washed and watched my reflection in the mirror. How was I able to stop time?
I'm still in trouble. And what is it that Fin says they can’t understand me? It's too much trouble for everyone. I'm confused. I spent a few more minutes in CR and I decided to go out.
"Clementine." I was surprised when Creed suddenly appeared in front of me. I swallowed because his aura was so serious.
"Are you hiding something from me?" He asked so I was even more nervous.
"H-ha?" I asked.
"I was just surprised by what you said earlier Clementine." He said and looked straight at me. "You said you saw me fighting a wolf vampire." He said so I swallowed. "Yeah." I said.
"Gorbloyd is my opponent not a wolf vampire." My body hair stood on end at what I heard. I swallowed and avoided staring.
"Tell me, how did you really get to the finish spot?" He asked while looking at me seriously.
"Ah ... What the--"
"Clementine." I looked behind Creed and saw Fin take the aura seriously. He came in front of me and looked at his brother.
"Are you following Clementine?" Fin asked Creed and took my hand then pulled me closer to him.
"I'm just asking something." Creed said and looked at me.
"Whatever the question you can wait for that." He said then looked at me.
"Can you not follow my princess next time? It will be obvious that I have a rival." After Fin said no, we teleported to another place. He confronted me.
"Are you okay?" He asked so I nodded.
“Yes what did he do to you? "he asked.
"He ... He asked how I got to the finish spot." I said and swallowed. "he's suspicious." I added.
He hugged me.
"Don't think about that man, just promise me you won't be told what you're doing. They won't understand you Clementine."
"I don't know why I'm nervous Fin. I'm afraid I don't know." I said.
"Don't be afraid, I'm here. I'll protect you. I'm ready to kill just to keep you alive." He said and kissed my forehead.
