Celebration

Clementine POV
Long tables, noisy surroundings, cheerful Vampire Academy students sitting in floating chairs in front of the floating table full of food and a friendly music make up our celebration today. I was at the Vaughns' table, Fin was next to me and Creed was in front of me, which made me nervous. After Fin and I avoided Creed earlier, Creed became quiet and didn't look at me. I turned to Fin who held my hand under the table. He turned to me then smiled and looked back to the front.
"Students listen." We are surrounded by the Chairman's behavior. He was holding a wine glass with only animal blood.
"In celebration of our school's anniversary and the Vaughns' win with Clementine we the Chairman and highest supreme have decided that Clementine will remain here at our school until the end of four years." My eyes widened at what the Chairman said. The Chairman smiled at me then continued talking.
"Instead of spending a year, she will study with you for four years and she will also be among those who will march on the day of the end of your batch." I smiled at what the Chairman said and I almost laughed at what he said. Tears welled up in my eyes as I felt so sorry.
"but we also have bad news for all of you." Chairman suddenly became serious so I kept my eyes on him.
"These past few days something strange is happening inside our school." He commented that everyone was quiet. "Another unusual thing." I felt the tightness of Fin's grip on me.
"We can't figure out what kind of event it is but ... there's an idea forming in our minds that Gredator might have done it." I was stunned and immediately felt nervous at what the Chairman said.
"We all know that Gredators are dangerous because of their ability." He added so I was holding Fin's hand.
"Outside Vampire High high -ranking government officials first investigated to catch the remaining Gredator. When the six cities are finished the schools will follow and we will be the first to be infected by them." Said the Chairman. “We know what’s right for Gredators don’t we?” The Chairman asked.
"Death!"
"Burn!"
"Exiled to villormoniah!"
"They are plagues in our world!"
"They will kill us and consume us!"
"They'll bring the sun to our place!"
I can see the students shouting. Our place was filled with students shouting about what to do with the grader. I felt fear and trepidation at what I see now.
"We should have brought water to messafara falls when that grader was spilled." Leana said and ate the meat.
"stop!" There was silence around the Chairman's simple words.
"For now let's think first and have fun." The Chairman raised his wine glass then smiled at everyone.
"Happy anniversary to us students!"
"Wooooooohooo!"
I turned to Fin who was looking at me. His gaze was serious.
"Why?" I asked.
"Are you done eating?" He asked.
"Ughm ... Yes." I replied. He smiled at me.
"Come with me, I'll show you something." he said then looked at his brothers.
"Excuse me, I'm just going to show Clementine something." He said. I looked at Creed who was looking at me as if examining me. I averted my eyes. In a flash Fin and I landed on the rooftop of the building where I first saw his smile.
"Clementine." He calls. I looked at him, he immediately pulled me closer to him and hugged me. He always does this thing, doesn't he know that my heart beats so fast every time he does it?
"Very nice day." He said and let go when he hugged me then I turned to what he was watching and there I saw the setting sun. "You're right." I agreed.
"Are you still scared?" He asked so I turned my gaze to him.
"I'm confused Fin." I said. He sat on the floor and looked up at me. I sat down next to him.
"Start asking." he said so I really think of him. His aura was serious as he looked at the sun.
"What's the Gredator?"
He turned to me and sadness and concern could be seen in his eyes.
