Aphrodite
Rizden POV
I took a deep breath, so much changed since I lost my sight. I still can't move on my own, I'm not used to seeing nothing. It's dark, it's dark and it's like you're in a lonely place.
Where is Creed?
I'm here in his room, I still don't go out. Earlier, Creed said goodbye to me and said he would just do something for a while and he would come back. But a few hours passed but he was still gone.
"When you become a vampire like us."
I remember what Creed told me. Be a vampire like them? But what about Rio? When I became a vampire what about my brother?
"Hi?" I stopped when I heard a woman's voice. That's not familiar to me.
"Who are you?" I asked. No one answered.
"Can't you see me?" She asked and based on the voice I heard she was in front of me.
"Who did you answer?" I asked again.
"I'm Aphrodite." She replied.
I wrinkled my forehead. Aphrodite? Who's that? Creed didn't tell me who Aphrodite was.
"Don't worry I won't hurt you. I'm a friend." She said and I felt her sit on my left side.
"Van sent me here, he's with Creed." She said.
"Ahh." That's all I said.
"If you don't mind ... Why can't you see me?" She asked.
I fell silent. Why does she have to ask me that?
"The last time I saw you I knew you saw me." She said so I frowned.
"Have you seen me?" I asked.
"At Fin and Clementine's party, I was with Van and Von." She replied.
“I don’t remember ever meeting Aphrodite at the party.” I said.
"It's because I didn't introduce to you." She said.
"Now, why ..... You don't see anything?" She added.
I swallowed and took a deep breath.
"Because of my illness." I replied.
"People always have illness." I heard her whisper.
"Aren't you human?" I asked.
"Nope." she replied causing my eyes to widen.
"But I won't hurt you, I'm a friend." she said quickly.
I breathed a sigh of relief at what she said.
"I saw Creed earlier .... Crying on the chin." Suddenly my heart was broken by what she said.
"I think you are a very important person for him." she added.
"I'll be gone in two days." I said.
"two days?"
"The doctor said." I replied.
"Why are those people's lives so short?" she asked, making me laugh.
"I don't know either." I replied.
“During those two days you didn’t see anything?” she asked.
"As if my eyesight will return?" I replied.
I felt she was quiet.
"I know if we're just talking Rizden but can I have a favor?" she asked.
"What's that? It's not hard, I can't see you anymore." I joked. I heard her laugh.
"If you trust me." she said so I frowned.
"Where?" I asked.
"Close your eyes," she ordered.
"What are you going to do?" I asked.
"Just do it." she replied.
"I don't trust you." I said.
"You have to trust me." she says.
"Nothing will be lost if you try, right?" she added so I fell silent. Slowly I closed my eyes and I felt her caress my eyelid.
"I know this way I can help you." I heard her say.
"Open your eyes." she says. Slowly when I opened my eyes and first I was exposed to the color Black walls, black things. I turned to the one next to me. I saw the woman sitting next to me, her hair was blonde, her lips were red and she was white.
"I-can I see you already?" I asked, I saw it smile but it was weird.
"H-how?" I asked.
"Rizden!" I looked around the open door and saw Creed panting next to his siblings.
"What is that woman doing here ?!" Creed asked Van angrily while pointing his finger at Aphrodite.
"She's not doing anything wrong." I said and looked at Aphrodite with a strange demeanor. Why isn't she looking at them Creed?
"Rizden, are you okay?" Creed immediately asked me when he got close, he took my two arms and hugged me.
"I-I can see you again." I said reason to stop Creed.
He let go of my hug and then looked at me.
"How?" I asked, I looked at Aphrodite.
"No ... It's Aphrodite what did you do?" Van's face showed concern as he approached Aphrodite.
Aphrodite smiled. she still wasn't looking at Van.
"I lent her my sight." With that I was weak. she lent her sight to me?
"What? Why? You shouldn't have done that Aphrodite!" Annoyed Van said as he knelt in front of Aphrodite. I mean ... she's the one who can't see now?
"Because that's the only way I can help her, I'm still at fault for her. she almost died because of me." she says. I wrinkled my forehead.
I suddenly remembered what happened at Fin and Clementine's party. she ... she's the black vampire who wants to kill Clementine? But why is her hair gold now and not black? One more....
"If I hadn't sent my emotions when I saw blood .... I'm sure there wouldn't be any trouble at Fin's party and Rizden wouldn't have perished." Aphrodite said with a smile.
I mean ... did she just become like that because of the blood?
"Even if, you shouldn't have given up your sight!"
"I just borrowed that Van, I'll see you after two days." she said and took a deep breath.
"She's so sorry, how can she see what Creed did if she doesn't have sight? With the two days left to her how can she make the most of those days if she can't see you?" Aphrodite asked.
My tears welled up. she is very smart.
"How can she be happy for the rest of her days if all she sees is pure darkness?"
Unable to resist, I immediately approached Aphrodite and hugged her.
