Fin POV
After I took Clementine to their room I went to the rooftop to get some air. I sat on the edge of the rooftop and watched the outside of the vampire high.
"You're just here, I've been looking for you for a while." I turned to the speaker and saw papa. I immediately lost my appetite when i saw him. I just watched him then leaned over to walk away when he spoke.
"I'm here to talk to you, not as your father but as a man." I was very close to what he said. I faced him again then looked into his eyes.
"Clementine ... isn't she human right?" I was immediately taken aback by what he said.
"She's human." I said.
"She has human blood but he has more vampire blood." I frowned.
"She's human." When I repeat.
"If she's human ... Why can't I smell her blood?" He asked. I laughed.
"You have a problem with the sense of smell." I said coldly.
"Let's not fool Fin, I'm on your side." I frowned at what he said.
"When else have you been an ally?" I asked laughing. He took a deep breath and then held on to his nose bridge.
"I know you're mad at me because I'm with a girl." I did not look at him "I was under her power." I stopped what Dad said. I looked at him.
"When Vixie is around ... I can't throw her away or hate her, when she's far away .... That's where I can control myself." Dad said and took a deep breath.
"I'm sorry son, I disappoint you. Your mother is the last woman I loved. Until Vixie comes and puts some power to me to control me." I looked into his eyes and it was obvious that what he was saying was true.
"Papa ..."
"I know you've contributed a lot to me son, but ... If you don't help me Clementine will be damned." He says.
"She's Scarlet." I said as she stopped.
"Their son Vlademire?" Dad asked in shock.
"Yes dad." I said in a normal tone.
"So it means she's one--"
"Yes papa. She got her father's power. And I'm worried because others won't understand her. They'll kill Clementine when they find out who she is." I said and my two shoulders dropped.
"I can't afford to lose her to me Papa. I lost her then ... I can't afford to lose her now." I felt papa holding my shoulder. I looked up at her and saw her sad stares.
"Clementine means so much to you ... I can see that you really love her son." Papa said and smiled.
"Let's help ... Let's protect the woman you love." I was stunned by what dad said.
"If that's the way my favorite child can forgive me I'll do it." he smiled at me and scratched my head.
"It's like you've been so little lately and I'd love to see you cry." I felt him rub my cheek without knowing that there were tears dripping.
"But now it's like my heart is torn when I see you crying. If your mom was just next to me I'm sure she would be scolding me now." He says laughing. I couldn’t help myself to hug him.
I immediately hugged papa and there my tears continued to flow. I felt he was surprised by what I did but I also felt him hug me.
"Don't cry son, your mother will scold me." He wiped away my tears. I was like a girl longing for my father's embrace. It feels so good to hug your father. Too light to feel.
I was thankful that Clementine wasn't here with me, because I didn't want her to see me crying in my father's arms.
"You have to Help me son. Remember there is a right time for two people who are truly in love." Dad said and wiped away my tears.
"What's your plan, Dad?" I asked. He took a deep breath.
"Next week, city officials will come here to investigate Vampire High." I just listened to what dad was saying.
"Before they can get here .... We need to get Clementine out of Vampire High." I was stunned by what he said. I watched him.
"Do you still hear what you said?" I asked.
"Son we have no choice, when they find out he's here--"
"I will be separated from Clementine again, was she separated from me then as well as now?" Shake shake I said.
"Son will you choose, Clementine's safety or her death?" I fell silent.
"There's a right time for two who love each other." he touched my shoulder.
"You're big, you must be sure of the decision you're going to make. The life of the woman you love depends on it Fin. I'm helping you." I averted my eyes and then took a deep breath. I lost Clementine then ... I won't let that happen anymore.
