I gave you an option

Angelina slowly opened her eyes, she felt a sharp pain around her wrist when she tried to pull her hands down from the air. She began struggling to loose free when she spotted a figure sitting opposite her. Her vision were blurry so she blocked twice just to see clearly.

When she have finally regain her vision, she saw Conner, seating on a swivel chair. His jaw was clench while he grin angrily at her when their eyes met. The vein in his neck were popping out and it was obvious to her that he was angry. She took courage to look at him as she struggles to free herself from whatsoever is holding her.

Angelina was laying on his bed naked, her hands were handcuff, the long chain holding her hands in the air was pinned to the window. She whimpered in pain when she sat up and the handcuff pierced her wrist. She back against the wall so she could clearly see Conner, seating opposite her.

She recalled what happened earlier but didn’t realize how she ended up here, in his room. The cold breeze hit her skin and made the hair on her body stand. That’s when she realized she was naked. She began trembling in fear and quickly clutched her legs closed that was wide open.

“What the fuck did you do to me Conner!!!”. She yelled at him angrily and it made him growled at her. Her words infuriated him and made him stand. She was squeezing her body against the wall as he moved close to her.

He held her jaw the moment he got close to her and jerk her face up. Their eyes met and he gaze at her in rage.

“I gave you an option to either run or stay and you choosed to run”. Conner and, clenching his teeth with every word that came out of his mouth. She was scared, her vision became blurry due to the tears that were forming in her eyes. “Lina why, why don’t you love me how to do you choose to act stubborn and make me do horrible things to you!”. He said calmly but to her his words sounded dangerous.

A sharp breath escaped her lips consecutively, her chest heaved up and down. She was scared and helpless, each time she tries to move her hand her wrist hurts.

“Why don’t you ask yourself, why would a woman not love you!”. Angelina spat and immediately he released his grip from her.

Conner ruffed his hair, he tries to suppress his anger but her words just kept on hurting him. He pace to the door and punched his fist to the wall. It made her shrugged and shivered in fear. He turned and walk back to the bed, he brought out a key from his pocket and unlock the handcuff.

Angelina quickly pulled her hands down and stood.

“I don’t wanna hurt you Lina, I have done what you asked, why won’t you give me chance”. Conner pleaded.

Angelina chuckled and then look up at him. They were few inches apart that she could feel his hot raged breath fanning her face. She didn’t mind yet she gathered courage to speak. “You abused me, deflowered me,locked me up and handcuff me to the bed and you want me to forgive?”. She mentioned then smiled while swiftly moving her head. “I am gonna expose you Conner and I will make sure no woman would want to end up with you to pass all this pains, emotions I went through all because of your past”. She punch her hand on his chest and made him stumbled backward. She came forward again and hot him again and again.

She tried to hit him again when he grabbed her hand. “Enough Lina! Stop it!!!”. Conner growled at her, the tears were already gushing out of her eyes. “I will never let you go until you love me Lina, so it’s your decision to make, is either you stay trapped or you love me”. He said and with that, he dragged her into the bathroom. He pushed her in and when she turned and tried to scurry out he slammed the door shut and locked it from outside.

“Let me out of here Conner”. She hollwered while banging her hands continuously against the door. “Conner let me out of here”. She sob but got to respond. She move towards the shower and turned it on. She rest her back against the wall and slid down to the ground. She sat below the shower and hugged her legs against her chest as the water drenched her body wet. Angelina sob as she knew she is never leaving here, she is trapped forever.

Conner descended from the stair there was no doubt that he wasn’t angry, she REJECTED him! And no woman has ever dared to do that. He only has the right to. He knew he has nothing to loose, especially her that’s why he locked her to avoid her from escaping. He didn’t know what kind of game she’s playing with him and yet he… He let out a frustrating breath and entered the car.

“Keep an eye around, don’t let anyone leave or go out!!”. He gave David his orders and he nodded in respond.

He zoomed off as soon as the gate automatically opened.

‘Why don’t you ask yourself that question, why would a woman not love you!’

He pulled back the brake of his car and stopped at the middle of the room. He hit his hand on the wheel again and again and a loud groan left his mouth.

She doesn’t wants him,yet he loves her and want her.

“Why are you making things hard for me Lina?!”. He asked no one in particular.

He started the car engine and proceed.

Few minutes later, he arrived at the office. The staff and his employee stood, their hands crossed in the front as they gaze down. He could see fear all over their faces. He knew something was wrong so he paused and waited for someone to tell him.

“Sir!”. Simon came out from the elevator and called.

The staff and employee head were bowed as they gaze at the floor, wishing the ground would just swallow them to avoid the anguish when he finds out. No one dare not open their mouth to speak so they kept silent and waited for Simon to speak.

“Speak Simon, what is going on!?”. Conner asked, his hoarse voice sent shiver down this spine of his employee.

“Sir…”. Simon said as he approached him with some files in his hand. “The property documents are fake”. He finally respond.
