ESCAPE

Conner carried Angelina out of the car. He carried her in a bridal style and amble into the house.
She stared intensely at his cold face, she began to wonder who would have posted the video if it isn’t Conner. She sigh, she wanted to free her mine from thought that could hurt her.
Conner placed her gently on the bed and smiled at her. Seeing her back home again made him so much excited. He had thought he has loose her, neverdid he knows she will come back to him.
He wasn’t himself the moment she left. He went to late night club, sleepless night and couldn’t take care of himself. Smoke has been his usual habit but now she’s here, everything is gonna start afresh.
“Can I have a time alone please?”. Angelina asked as he snapped out of his dreamself and nodded in respond.
“Be free Angelina and besides I’m going to work”. Conner said as he cocked his head and peek her forehead. “I hope you wait here for me”. He grinned at her before he dismissed.

Davina bump into Reel as she stepped out of her house. She staggered backward and forcefully her back was slammed against the door. With two sharp fingers piercing deep into both her chin.
“I told you not to post it in public”. Reel said in fierce.
Davina eyes wide open, her heart throb in fear. “I had to choice, I want Conner to see and hate her, then she can be with Ethan for all I care”. She retort.
“You are selfish Davina, so selfish that you never consider anyone feelings around you”. He said. “And if anything should happen to Angelina or my best friend Ethan, I will make sure I put you behind bars”. Reel pinched her chin even tightly with so much pressure. The pain made her shriek.
“Let me go Reel”. Davina yelled and slapped him, it made him staggered few steps backwards. “You are useless for saying such, why didn’t you consider your friends feelings before taking a video of him having an affair with his lover”. She said and scurried to her car before he could make an attempt to catch her. She rushed into the car and locked it immediately. “Conner will be mine soon and then we can talk about the money”. She said.
“I don’t want money Davina, I want your love”. Reel allowed his feelings to take over him and he yelled at her.
“Keep your love to yourself”. Davina said as she started the car engine and zoomed off.
Davina used to be his girlfriend until she went behind he’s back and cheated on him with another man, Conner. Just because he was rich and had everything. It was the reason he had gone to the bar, he was heartbroken at that moment. Each time he tries to win her back she would yell at him call him all sort of names because he doesn’t has money as much as Conner. He hurted him so much because he still love her and that’s why he accepted to frame Ethan for his selfish benefits, to have her back. Not knowing Davina has other plans too…

Davina arrived at Conner’s office and luckily she met him in the parking lot. She quickly alighted from her car. She ran towards him and pulled him into her embrace.
“Conner…”. Davina said, crying into his chest. She lifted her face to look at him, he wasn’t showing her any emotions just as she expect. “You got what you wanted, now let’s…”
He released her hands from his grip and move back from her. “We are not getting married!”. He asserted, his voice deep and fierce. “Everything between us or ever happened between us is over, you need money right? I can give you twenty billion dollars for you to leave me!!”. Conner said and her eyes welled up in tears.
“Conner I want you…”
“Aren’t you shameless???!”. He asked and she cried. His words were shattering her heart into piece. “I have a woman, that I love and cherish so much why don’t you just leave me alone”. Conner yelled at her and she clenched her hand into a fist.
“That woman doesn’t loves you”. Davina retort. She was in rage. She felt so much anger burning in her heart when she heard him mention another woman.
Conner let out a mocking laugher, “Speak for yourself because she is pregnant for me”. He said and she raised one brow up in disbelief.
“She isn’t pregnant for you Conner, she is pregnant for Ethan not you”. Davina uttered out of anger and Conner dangerously lean close to her. He grabbed her and pulled her up to his cold face.
“Say that again…”
“If Angelina is you Conn…err”. She said in a shakery voice. “That means she must be searching for evidence against you”. She said, shivering in fear. “Angelina is pregnant for Ethan, I saw her have an affair with him”. Davina said and he suddenly released his grip from her arm as the news broadcaster hovered around him with cameras recording.
“Sir is it true that you molest and abused Angelina Jolie Jordan, the daughter of Paul Jordan?”. The lady holding a phone stretched it towards him, patiently waiting for his respond.
Davina sneaky ran into her car and locked it. She brought out her phone and dialed Ethan’s number. “Hello?”. A feminine voice came in.
“Angelina is that you?”. She asked when she had recognized her voice.
“Yes why?”
“Run Lina, run, leave that house immediately!”. Davina yelled in a horrific tone. “Please leave the house soon”. She said and immediately hang up. “Oh no Ethan”. She groan as she started the cat engine and zoomed.
Conner turned and stomp into his car and locked it. He started the car engine and the broadcaster ran off as he drove him car out of the parking lot and took off immediately.
