Chapter 28
Lucifer went out on a hunt for according to him " an irresponsible, lack of knowledge of things important, and treasonous brother of his"
Lucifer felt that everything Asmodeus and Damien were up to was nothing but a glorified waste of them as none of it mattered.
He was Lucifer he couldn't be killed, except God ordered the word and he knew God wouldn't kill him, God needed him for there to be balance, light and darkness, heaven and hell, good and bad, so it was pointless, that was the main reason why he didn't pay attention to the fact that the Demons were after a holy relic that was rumoured to have the ability to kill Demons, wasn't fazed.
Although other demonic spirits were in a state of panic and utter chaos, they asked Lucifer if they should stop the process, intercept them on their mission, just do anything, but the prince of Pride was adamant, he told and assured them It was an abject waste of time.
But not the workings of the spirit were now affected by the neglect of Asmodeus and it was getting to Lucifer, now he had to see that Asmodeus paid for his nonchalance.
Lucifer landed on Earth, with para demons and the brother always seen around him, Beelzebub, and they were headed to the place where obviously they figured the Demons would be, the spiritual shop of Jacob.
Jacob and Mara had gone out to meet Nick, while I had gone to see my mom, in Minnesota, so Asmodeus was left at Jacob's with Michael who had come to see him, according to Jacob everyone needed closure at a time like this.
Micheal and Asmodeus felt the presence of familiar powers lurking around and they wore their clothes and waited to see what happens next.
The door was kicked off its hinges and the para demons moved and surrounded them two, who had already taken a fighting stance ready to move on anyone who attacked, but the para demons stayed back and did nothing
Then Lucifer came in through the door and behind him was Beelzebub as usual with his Chalice drinking from it.
Lucifer walked around Micheal and Asmodeus and then sat down on a chair, while Beelzebub stood and leaned by the door letting the air blow through this thick red hair.
" I don't care about your treasure hunt with Damien, or whatever it is you have with my sworn rival here Micheal, I am here cause of your neglect of the Demonic duties you have at hand," Lucifer said as he picked up a hand mirror from the table and admired himself with it.
"Wanna fight?" Michael said, still in a stance ready to fight.
Lucifer looked at him and giggled, and spoke to Asmodeus like Micheal didn't just talk to him.
" You left your purgatory duties, and the bands of hell are breaking, and what do you do, neglect it? If your so-called charade comes to nothing, won't you be back to hell, or you think God in his infinite mercies will have you back in heaven and a prodigal child?" Lucifer and Beelzebub laughed at the reference and Lucifer continued, " just come back, finish your purgatory duties and you can be on your merry way doing the stupid merry things you want to do, look I am not here to fight at least not today, but be back by tomorrow and do what you have to do"
Lucifer was off, as he left, Beelzebub turned and faced them and said "Micheal do you do something to your" a pause like he was searching for the right word "everywhere" then a peal of loud laughter "you look better than the last time I threw a jab at you, and you Asmodeus see you soon, for more ass-kicking he laughed and drank from his Chalice then he too was gone with the rest on the para demons.
This intense feud between Micheal and Asmodeus goes way to when the great war broke out in heaven Michael and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.
REVELATION 12:7-9.
The War in Heaven was the grand conflict between the rebel angels under Lucifer and the loyal angels under Michael. It is widely regarded by many as the first war in creation.
It began after Lucifer was led to believe that, from being told by God of His plans for everything, in the long run, everyone and everything would be under the power of predestination and would not have free will of their own by God's decree. This caused Lucifer to see God as a tyrant and that he should be the new leader of Heaven and rebel in the process.
When God created man, he ordered all the angels to bow down before them. They did so, all except one, Archangel Lucifer. Since Lucifer is said to be the most majestic of all angelic beings, he was prideful. In all the universe there was not another like him in beauty and power.
Throughout the eons, Lucifer had come to see the corruption that lurks within the cogs of his father's grand plans for the universe and its inhabitants. Being close with God leads to being entrusted with the grand schemes of creation. Whenever these plans would be shared, Lucifer would always spot something that he would disagree with and argue with his father only to be silenced and admonished each time. The more Lucifer argued with God the further he began to stray from the light and grow rebellious.
After God told Lucifer of His plans for His latest creations, that being mankind, Lucifer's paranoia grew to where he believed that God allowing them an equal share of the Heavens and the Earth, in the form of the Garden of Eden, with Him was nothing but a farce and they would be under his father's puppet strings like his own siblings. Moreover, it was not just Lucifer that rebelled but also Samael who acted as God's Heavenly judge and chief of the Divine Council, and thus he saw how corrupt and easily frail the humans would be in the foreseeable future, judging them as unworthy of being the perfect creations, much less fashioned in the image of God. Samael was cast from the holy mountain in the process.
Lucifer, in the meantime, saw that there would be no freedom or true desire under God's rule and as a result proclaimed that God is now flawed himself, and does not deserve to be the rightful ruler of creation, thus declaring that he should take the throne for himself. Even before humanity, Lucifer had always harboured some desire of taking the Throne of Heaven for himself and become Lord of the Universe, but he had concealed his feelings like any good angel and continued to serve God's will, despite his thoughts.
He also managed to persuade one-third of all the other angels to swear allegiance to him and rebel against God and the Heavenly Host. At some point during that time, Lucifer also managed to persuade Lilith into siding with him as well. In fact, Lucifer is the reason why Lilith was so adamant in being subservient to Adam in the first place as he convinced her that since Lilith had been created from clay the same as Adam she is equal to him and therefore should not be under him. This resulted in Lilith's expulsion from the Garden of Eden as a result. While this counted as the first strike against God the latter's strike against Lucifer was more severe.
