That Doctor Is A Fake
*Gene*
—Did the damn Breeder have her babies?—I repeat to the servant who just burst into my bathroom to give me this news. I'm taking a bath in my garden tub, and the scents of Kamilas, lilacs and other flowers are wafting around me. I found it relaxing until a few moments ago when this idiot barged in.
“Yes, he did,” he says, swallowing hard as he tries not to look directly at me. He's probably afraid of seeing my little thing and never feeling like a real man again. "We have just received news from the castle, sir."
"What castle?" I ask. —Do you know a castle that talks?
I watch him swallow again and wonder if he has something stuck in his throat. -No sir. I mean... we received news of the spy you sent to ET1 Mark's castle, sir. He said that the breeder gave birth to four kits a while ago, and that the Breeder herself almost died, but her doctor managed to bring her back.
I reflect on that information. —The Breeder almost died of natural causes? We were almost lucky enough that the stupid bit... died on her own, but now I'm going to have to kill her.
-That's how it is. But he lived, thanks to the doctor, a Dr. Farce.—He nods firmly.
-You're right. It is a farce of a doctor that he was able to save her. Who was the doctor?
—Dr. Farce,” she says.
"I completely agree," I agree. —But what was her name?
“Farce, sir,” he says again.
Now, I'm starting to get irritated. —I realize that it would have been better if the Breeder had died and the doctor had not saved her. That's why I'm asking who she was! So I can make sure they pay for committing this farce against me! So, just tell me already! Who was the doctor who committed this farce?
—Yes, sir.— His eyes are open and he continues moving his feet, as if it were making him nervous.
“Yes, sir—what?” I scream, my hands splashing in the water, causing something to spill.
—Sir, it was Dr. Farsa. She saved the Breeder.
—Who saved the Breeder? Dr. who?
—Dr. Farce, sir.
"Oh, well, then don't tell me!" I exclaim. —Go and bring that man who used to work at ET1 Mark's castle. What is his name? It doesn't matter. You probably don't know and we'll keep going around. Go!
He turns around and walks out of my bathroom like he just saw something scary, and I have to imagine it was my little thing. It can be very intimidating due to its size.
Although I haven't finished enjoying my bath, I decide it's time to go outside so I can talk to my new ET2 about this situation. He already knows that he has been as...igned to kill the Breeder, but if he knows that she has already had his offspring, things might change a bit for him. It would have been better if he had killed her before they came out of her womb. Now, he will have to kill them all individually, and that will be more difficult. Although I imagine those hatchlings won't be able to defend themselves very well, his ET1 parents will be a harder group to take down.
I put on my robe and go out to my rooms. When I open my closet doors, I do so quickly and look around, hoping Luna Malena Milly is there, but she's not. I am alone. I pick out a nice outfit to wear and am about to get dressed when there is a knock at the door.
Muttering under my breath at the interruptions, I go to see who it is.
“Did you want to see me, Your Majesty?” a scrawny man with thick glas...es and little hair asks me. I feel sorry for him. He is so ugly. But hey, not everyone can be as handsome as me.
—Yes, you are the man of ET1 Mark's pack, right?— I don't invite him in. He can stay in the hallway.
—That's right, sir. Melvin.
“No, I'm King Gene!” I tell him, shaking my head. Everyone is so stupid today. "What kind of idiotic name is Melvin?"
He clears his throat. -No sir. That is my name.
—Oh. Well, anyway, I was trying to find out what happened to that Breeder at Mark's castle. I heard that she almost died but then she was brought back to life by the pack doctor. Farce.
"Yes, that's right," he responds with a nod.
He frowned. —That's who?
-The doctor. Farce.
—Yes, it's a farce. She would be much happier if she had died. But she didn't do it. So I want to make sure she is killed too along with the doctor. So...do you know her name?
"The doctor?" he asks me.
—Yes!— I'm starting to lose my patience again.
“Farce,” he says with a shake of his head.
Taking a deep breath, I say, “I'm not asking for your opinion on the situation!” I just want to know his name!
"But that's his name," he replies.
-What her name? Rear?
-But what?
"I don't know!" I yell at him. "Just tell me the damn doctor's name!"
Beads of sweat appear on his forehead as he looks at me behind those thick frames. —Dr. Farce, sir. That's her name. That's what he's called.
“Is his name That?” I ask, finally starting to think I understand.
-Yeah. “That's right,” he says, looking slightly less scared.
"Well, why didn't you say that from the beginning?" I ask.
He shakes his head slowly. -I'm sorry Mr. I thought he said it.
“Okay, okay,” I say, gesturing for him to leave. I'm done with him. There's no need to keep yelling at him. -You can go. But next time, be clearer, okay?
-Yes sir. I'm sorry about that.— He takes a few steps away from me, backing down the hallway.
—I'm sorry about that, too.—And I really am. —That really is a tragedy.
He doesn't say anything, but I see his frown, and instead of explaining it again, I close the door.
Through the mental link, I contact my new ET2. 'Listen, I'm giving you a new as...ignment,' I tell him. 'When you go to kill the Breeder and her cubs, you will have to add another person to the list. The doctor who delivered the babies.'
A second later, his voice fills my head. 'What doctor is that?'
'Exactly.'
