Everything She Desires

He stroked the back of my hand with his thumb, trying to comfort me. And it worked.

"No, I wouldn't like to call it quits because your best buddy was aware of the truth. I assume you know why I prefer to keep it between the two of us. It's to keep you safe."

No doubt. I'd be regarded as a whore if people found out. No one wanted to be married to a so-called whore.

I nodded and said, "I get it." I inhaled deeply before dialing Lory's number.

She responded right away.

"Where in the world are you? Why haven't you given me a call? What is happening? Thanks to the forty-eight hours of stress you gave me, I fear I am balding."

I had to move the phone away from my ear to let her scream to her heart's content.

"Are you done?" I eventually questioned.

"I'm hoping for an explanation," she told me.

I crossed my fingers as I started. "Lory, he's wonderful and amazing. The experience has truly been fantastical. Both he and I love each other. We're currently eloping. We're tying the knot."

She started screaming again, and this time I wasn't sure if she was happy, mad, or just in shock. I had to wait a few seconds before I could put the phone back to my ear, and I scowled at Nicholas' amused look.

"Are you finished screaming yet?" After a brief pause in her tirade, I questioned.

"You've lost the plot, Willow!" she stated, baffled.

"I know what I am doing. I know it is hard to wrap your mind around but say it... you think this is romantic." I glared at Nicholas before I went on. "I am being treated like a princess. swept me off my feet, Lory." I rolled my eyes at how sappy I sounded.

My stomach was heavy with unease as I twisted the truth.

"Where are you at this moment?"

"We're flying to Oak Run right now."

"He's with you there?"

I chuckled. "Yes. I doubt I could legally wed myself."

She gave me a snarl. "Smartass! Hand him the phone."

'I don't think I will do that.'

She cut me off before I could continue. "HAND HIM ON THE CELL PHONE!"

Nicholas looked wary when he put the phone to his ear after I threw it at him. "Miss Adams."

Her shouts reverberated throughout the plane's cabin and I giggled. He released my hand and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I didn't brainwash her, I assure you."

Screaming.

"No, I haven't taken her hostage."

Nicholas leaned towards me while keeping the phone away from his face as I laughed.

He muttered in my ear, "I'll get you for this." He gave a short laugh when I slapped his hand. After that, he cleared his throat and returned to his conversation with Lory.

"I sincerely want to make Willow happy, Lorelei. My world has been turned completely upside down by her, and I don't feel bad about never wanting to let her go."

I seized his hand and gave it a firm squeeze.

"Yes, I'm looking forward to meeting you when you get to Quentin," Nicholas said.

I wondered what she was saying when Nicholas scowled.

"Well, Willow will receive everything she desires. And if that is what she wants, I will be delighted. This was a last-minute decision." He gave me another glance. "No! Please don't even imply that. Being married to her makes me happier than anything else."

"What is she telling you?" I muttered.

He shook his head and after going back and forth for a few more minutes, he handed the phone back to me.

"Lory, I'm really happy right now and I want you to celebrate this with me." It was a plea.

She remained silent for a moment.

"You know how much I love you, Willow. And this decision is not yours... you don't make such rash choices. Are you certain this is what you want?"

I squeezed my eyes shut, feeling miserable for having caused her such anxiety.

"Yes, I'm certain. He'll be introduced to you in a few weeks. You're going to adore him, I guarantee it."

When she sighed, I realized that she was giving in.

"After you get married, where are you going?"

"I have no desire to travel elsewhere."

I was relieved to hear her squeal loudly instead of worryingly this time. "You are going to love it. How long will you be here?"

"I'm still not really sure. A week?"

"That's a good chunk of time. So, is he as attractive in person as he appeared to be in the photos?"

Her question caused my body to blush, so I tried to hide my reaction from Nicholas.

"Better. By a long margin."

I heard her gasp and craved to just sit down with her and gossip to my heart's content.

"Did you have sex with him, Willow?”

I tried to ignore Nicholas' cackling as he sat next to me. I groaned and muttered, "I can't talk about this right now."

"Dear God! You have!" She seemed like she would be bouncing off the walls. "Is it painful? Did you like it? Has he got a large dick? I want specifics!"

I sighed. She was going to make me die from embarrassment. I just crossed my fingers that Nicholas couldn't hear her.

"Willow Taylor... you can't hold out on me. You have to promise to divulge every single detail about everything in your life to me!"

"As soon as you get to Quentin, Lorelei, I swear we'll have the whole day to ourselves. We can finish everything up."

She exhaled a frustrated sigh. "Fine. I'll allow you off the hook for the time being, but sister, you're going to spill the beans soon."

After a lengthy goodbye conversation, I eventually got her off the phone and sighed with relief.

The fact that Nicholas's phone had been going off didn't escape my attention. Before turning to face me, I saw him send another text.

"Is Lorelei okay with the situation?"

I gave him a nod. "She will be okay. She'll be content as long as I'm happy." I took a quick look at his phone. "What's up with you?"

"Articles of our engagement are circulating." He gave me a smile. "My family is more astonished than Lorelei, let's just say that."

I played with my fingers in anxiety. We were stirring up a lot of trouble, it seemed.

"Nicholas. Are you sure you want this? Right now?"

He unbuckled his seatbelt in a flash and was leaning in close. His finger traced my lips and dragged over the bridge of my nose.

"Yes."

When he kissed me, everything seemed normal again.

.

For one week straight, I had sex. Yes.

After three days, it was evident that little had changed from our honeymoon if I had chosen a shack near my hometown.

My best pal Cocky Junior and I were inseparable.

I also liked Mr. Cocky personally.

It had been a quick and largely painless wedding. It wasn't at all cheesy. Despite the fact that we had to enlist the help of an unaware couple of strangers to witness for us, the hotel courtyard was actually pretty lovely. Nicholas took care of their bills, making it worthwhile for them. Nicholas flung a lot of money around since it had a tendency to move things along quickly. He employed a wedding planner, who swiftly got me fitted for a stunning white gown, made lovely flower arrangements, and showed up with an elegant cake for our hurried "reception." I took a quick look at the digital copies that were created for Nicholas and me and saw that even the photos were properly done.

I got a new surname an hour into the elopement.

Nicholas said that if I desired another ceremony, such as a lavish fanfare in Quentin, I was entitled to it. But I didn't think it was that significant, and I didn't think it was necessary to repeat a ceremony that would have the same implications.

It didn't really matter to me how it happened because Nicholas Rowe and I were already married.

I was always made to feel at ease and content. He made me deliriously happy during our week in a posh private condo at the foot of the mountains, even though we didn't go out too much.

When we were by ourselves, I never felt as powerful or as needed as I did. Especially when I was the one constantly arousing him.

I was aware of how raw his voice sounded in the heat of the moment. As our bodies moved in unison, I recognized the scent of his skin. I was familiar with his appearance when he orgasmed.

I was aware of the gentle hugs and touches he preferred while we relaxed after sex. I was familiar with the way he embraced me while sleeping.

Even though we didn't visit most of the beaches, I had no regrets about the passing week. Despite the fact that neither of us had said "I love you," it had been the most emotional week of my life.

Real life began to set in once we returned to Quentin and turned on our cell phones, which had been off while we were away.

We had a lot of explaining to do because we were married. Meeting his family was the first thing we had to do.

As the early morning light poured through the window, I moaned and stretched. The area adjacent to me was cold and I frowned when I remembered Nicholas had to go to the office that day.
