Just a day

I woke up next to Lucas and smiled . Despite the underwear yesterday I was happy. I looked around the room taking in the sunlight creeping through the blinds.
I stretched in the bed trying to free my self from Lucas. It had only been a few days but I loved him, deep in my heart I knew he was a good man . I couldn’t reprimand him for what he did or who he did before he met me.
I watched him continue to sleep for a few more minutes before freeing my self from his grasp and heading for the shower .

The hot water felt like heaven as it cascaded down my body. The power this shower had was on another level, jets spraying every where leaving not an ounce of me untouched .
I stared at the ceiling whilst I massaged the shampoo into my hair enjoying this moment when a shadow caught my attention .

Morning babe a deep voice said as arms wrapped around my waist and his body clung to mine .

Good morning I replied, you so ‘cheap’ we can’t afford 2 showers in this house . Shower sharing it is hey I giggled .

Nope I just like spending every minute I can with you especially alone with you.

I smiled internally and externally I just loved this man so much .

I rinsed my hair and removed my self from the shower . I had so much to do today and couldnt allow my self to be shacked up in this room shagging all day. Obviously that would be amazing but a girl needs to have a little recovery time.

Molly Lucas called from the shower , I have to spend some time with lucifer today . Pack business to sort out . Will you be ok ?

Babe I have managed all the years of my life so far , I am confident I can manage a few hours I said .

Sarcastic little one aren’t you he shouted from the bathroom before reappearing with just a towel on .
This was going to be a difficult situation to escape from. My wolf was desperate to come out .

Can we run together later ? Lucas asked , I know caydon is desperate to meet your wolf .

The only problem was I didn’t let people meet her . She was different to other females , she was almost as large as an alpha with black fur and bright blue eyes .
Many had mistaken me for a male when I accidentally ran into another wolf. often they would run away fearing I would tare them apart.

Yes of course I said with slight hesitation. If he said he loves me then he loves me I thought. Wolf and all.

I got dressed and headed out to meet Layla again. She wanted to show me round and go shopping which would be fun . She also wanted me to go down to where the warriors trained. She said it was important to learn how to fight how to defend your self . As a Luna you needed to be strong but it was just as important as the betas mate that you could defend your self. You are always going to be at risk, to hurt the alpha or the beta is to destroy their mate.
Please please ensure you are alert and train Layla said . I might be pretty to look at but trust me I have trained for years along side these warriors and you must do the same.

I liked Layla more after spending the day with her . She wasn’t just a pretty superficial she wolf she was a fighter and intelligent. She wore the face of a Luna that the people wanted to see but she was tough under all of that and I loved it .

The day went by quickly residing on the last task I new I had planned today ...
running with Lucas .
My wolf was excited but I was terrified . The thoughts of his wolf rejecting mine once he saw me filled me with fear.

I sat waiting in our room for Lucas to appear . I was watching some tv just Like I would if I was at home however I wouldn’t be waiting for a sex god to be walking through the door . O hang on yes I would, in my fantasy. I smiled to my self at the thought .

As always I scented him first , his scent so unique and captivating.
He entered the room smiling when he saw me .
I have missed you so much he said as he walked across the room before kissing me tenderly. My lips softened under his allowing him to slide his tongue in . He tasted great savouring every movement he made . The kiss deepened and I allowed it to thinking this could be the ‘out’ I needed to not have to run. But I knew deep down this needed to happen .

I guess doing it now could break my heart if he rejects me. Leaving it longer would hurt far more I thought. It really is now or never, I pulled away from the kiss.
Reprimanded by a low growl from my wolf, o come on you will like the reason I have stopped the kiss. It’s time for you and caydon to meet , Athena was ecstatic.

Lucas if we stay here doing this and trust me I am more then happy to keep doing this then we won’t have time to ‘run’ I said .
Lucas smiled.... let’s go !
