Mika woke with a throbbing right jaw and splitting head ache but Devion and Bradly sat near by. They had moved him back to the cave while he was out. He jumped to his feet and they jumped infront of him stopping him again from moving forward.
"Get the fuck out of my way Devion!" Mika growled.
"I can't do that boss." Devion said sternly but apologetically.
"Why the fuck not?" he snapped back.
'Damn it Mika you know why! you are the future alpha of the crimson moon pack WE can not afford to lose you. You are our peoples' future. This has escalated more than what we previosuly thought. Not all of Drax's minions were in that building. He still holds some at the nest. These we believe could be mature vamps, Mika."
Mika filled his lungs, and then let out a huge roar before punching the stone wall. The sounds of bone and stone cracking echoed off the walls but Devion and bradley stood their ground.
"She's in there. I can feel her there." he confessed as he examined his shattered knuckles. He knew they'd repair as the skin was already starting to go to work, but he needed a outlet for the anger and frustration.
"We will." Devion cut off short. He and Mika, snapping their heads toward the entrance of the cave.
Unsure what happened,"What is it? What's happening?" Bradley asked concerned there was an attack underway.
"We have company."Devion grinned. A tall familair silhoette entered.
Theo stepped into the cavern to see his prince with a shattered fist, with devion and Bradley preventing him from leaving.
"I take it you told him something he didn't like?" Theo grinned.
Theo placed his forearm over his heart, "Prince." afterward Devion embraced his brother in arms.
Mika returned the greeting. "Not that I am complaining but why are you here Theo? Where is Talia?"
Theo went to the mouth of the cave and ushered well over a dozen of the Crimson Pack's people in.
Mika and Devion stood shocked,
*Theo! You should not have brought our people here. Here! of all places!* Mika repremanded.
Devion was looking out in the crowd and listening. "Prince you need to hear this." he whispered catching Mika's attention.
"Talia and I arrived ssafely and reported to the alpha. I had already begun gathering a group to return and aid you. However, before we left Niko arrived at the village."
At the mention of Niko Mika brissled. Taking Mika's hint Theo continued," I thought so too.His arrival delayed me somewhat. Something was off about him. When he arrived he said that he was the last of the party that things had gone south here and you were now under the control of a dark master."
"bull shit." Mika snapped.
"At first the news was disheartening. Your parents were very distraught. Niko was regaled them with stories of the travels. But.' he took a deep breath."But then things became dark. I knew something was off with him. I smelt him but nothing was different." he shrugged and made a confused look. "He told your parents of what the west coast pack was doing. Talia backed up this, so it rang true. However, one night your father invited Niko for a private dinner. After that night Alpha was not the same."
"He began doing similar laws that King Henery orderd. Not as advance yet- but he has been compromised." Talia interupted. Bradley grabbed her by her shoulders and embraced her. Careful not to squeeze her very promanit belly. Tears ran down her cheek as she hugged him back.
"And mother?" Mika asked trying to hold back his rage at the fucking supernatural ass wipe Niko had become.
"She followed alpha but would ask him why he ordered certain things. I spoke to her privately and told her what happened in the west had come to our door now." he took a breath.
"And?!" Mika felt like he was about to go mad.
"She chose to remain with alpha and do what she could for the people that remained. The guard now follows Alpha/Niko now. The group I had assigned before half are gone to us. Between Luna and myself we gathered who was willing to leave. I knew you weren't lost to us Mika. I knew Nico was lying. Gelont, his delta and Cain his omgea wouldn't hear me. The last time I was *allowed* to even speak to alpha I saw the fucker's eyes. They were solid black. Mother fucker barred me from speaking to my fucking alpha!" Theo shook with rage.
Mika looked out over the mass of people. There were females, some small childern, soon to be mothers{Talia}, some older males, and some guards. These were his people and they needed their leader.
Devion and Theo both looked at Mika and then together knelt on one knee, resting their forearm that would've gone over their hearts over their knee, head bowed.
"You are the future of this pack. You are the new alpha." Devion declared. At this each werewolf knelt and mirrored Theo and Devion, including Talia and Bradley. Mika stood looking out over everyone. He knew this day would come but he had no way of knowing it would be in a cave in enemy terrortory with barely any of his people left. he bowed his head in gratatude to his people. His heart full of love and respect for each one who had defied darkness to come to his aid. He raised his right forearm toward all, then with his left hand he extended his silver claw and sliced his right arm allowing the blood to fall to the cave floor.
"I bleed for you. I am apart of you. I am your alpha and will protect you with my life." Mika proclaimed with grim expression. In unionson the adults repeated the action, raising their forearms and slicing them in a downward motion. "We call you our alpha. We will bleed for you and give our lives if needed." When Mika's blood stopped the room spun slightly. not from the loss of blood as that was minimal, but there was a shifting among the wolves. Mika could hear everyone- including Talia and Bradly now. He felt each one's emotions and could tell everyone who vowed meant every word they spoke. A rush of energy flooded Mika. He felt a change taking over him, like he was stronger. His senses were always beyond that of a human but now he could almost **see* Ari's scent trail. He could see others too. It was disorenting at first and he needed to blink a few times to adjust. Devion and Theo helped Mika to find a seat under the giz of sitting down to make war plans- but honestly they could feel something was happening to Mika and did not want him to fall flat on his face as frist move as alpha. The delt and omega have special connections when it comes to their alphas. As a future alpah that relationship is built and is much like that of a brotherhood, however when the future alpha takes his rightful place they can pick up on changes with him. His emotions, almost an aura.
Some of the females came up and offered water and some food for the men. Several of the guards came up to hear what the plan would be. Mika knew he needed to pull his shit together, it was time to do his job. He swallowed hard and looked up at the faces surrounding him.
"Alright lets get down to it."
